I may not be able to provide a lot of advice on Magic Mountain its self, but whenever I go to a Six Flags park I ALWAYS buy "THE FLASH Pass Platinum." It does not matter if I have never been to the park, or if I have been to the park 50 times. THE FLASH Pass Platinum not only cuts your wait time by 90%, but it also allows for re-rides on specific attractions without ever having to get out of your seat. With that being said, you are only going to be at the park for one day, and there is a lot to do at the park, I would spend the extra money and get THE FLASH Pass Platinum. It is the best way to ensure you get to do as much as you want while you are at the park. Now not all attractions are available for THE FLASH Pass but if you use THE FLASH Pass right then you can physically wait in line for a ride that does not allow THE FLASH Pass while you are always waiting in a line using THE FLASH Pass. That way you can ride more attractions in just one day. As it stands THE FLASH Pass Platinum is currently available for use on: (From SixFlags.com) With all of that being said I would strongly suggest you get THE FLASH Pass Platinum. It is the best way to make the most out of your visit. (At least that is how I always experience Six Flags Parks, and I have never been disappointed, or felt like I wasted my money.) I bet Twisted Colossus will be an upcharge, if not it'll definitely be Platinum.. I went to Great America and got a Platinum last year and got 2 rides on Goliath, so maybe they'll do it like that and allow 2 rides, or move Full Throttle or Superman off of 1 ride only.

I went to the park for July 4th a few years ago and had a great time. Crowds were surprisingly light. We ended up riding MIndbender 10 times in a row since nobody was in the station. Got to watch the fireworks while riding the coaster. The 4th is on a Saturday this year, that's the part that would worry me the most.

The last new Coaster in your Count

It was either Goliath or Whizzet at SFGAM, I can't remember which one I rode first. -
Maybe Zumanjaro but besides that and Ka they don't care... the park proved again on Saturday that they don't care about weather when they managed to valley one coaster and stall another one trying to get it to open in 50 mph wind gusts. Great Adventure has the best weather policy of basically any park in the U.S. When they're valleying and stalling trains I wouldn't exactly call that the best weather policy.

This is exactly how I felt about namtaB at SFMM last year. I rode it once or twice and was done with it. So what park has this backwards chassis not arrived at yet? Besides SFGAdv which will be later this year, is the only remaining park SFSL? SFSTL although apparently it was tested out their, also Fiesta Texas and La Ronde haven't although they have Batman clones they go by different names, so I'm not sure if they'll do Vampire and Goliath baclwards.

Weirdest Things The 'GP' Have Said

This is the greatest thing I've read today. Haha thanks.. In my defense I was around 12 or 13 when I thought this, so that makes it alright right?? -
I'm sure with Fury being open, this won't happen. But I went on a Tuesday & Wednesday in 11 and then on a Monday & Tuesday in 12, and with the exception of Nighthawk and Rip Roaring Rapids, all lines ranged from walk on [ Afterburn, Hurler, Thunder Road] to 5-10 mins [ Cobra, Cyclone, Intimidator] and they ran two trains on everything with the exception of Carolina Cyclone, they even ran 4 trains on Thunder Road one day each year I was there, the other two days it was one train but both sides open.

When I rode Boss in 2009, I really liked it and thought it ran great. Were the guerstlauer trains as good as PTC's? No. Was it the smoothest wooden coaster in the world? Absolutely not, but most CCI's aren't these days. Still, I didn't quite necessarily understand what seemed like heavy criticism of the ride. It's still one of my top rides which I rank over Ghost Rider (even on a good day) and Tremors at Silverwood. I haven't been on the most elite of wooden coasters but I feel like Boss on a good day can be up near the top. Honestly I think SFStl wooden collection is almost, if not as good as Holidays World. I'd rank The Voyage above all, but I'd take American Thunder, Screaming Eagle & Boss over Legend & especially Raven any day of the week.
