That price almost seems to good to be true for a 2 hour open bar on Disney property, heck a desert party during the fireworks at Epcot is $50 without an open bar hahaha. Don't remember where I read it but I recently read somewhere that STK maybe wasn't exactly performing as well as management was expecting and that there was a rumors of reevaluating their approach. Maybe there was some truth to that.

Wooden Warrior always got such great reviews it's amazing nobody else has built a "junior" wooden coaster. Maybe a version of that is what this will be. -

Yeah, it was a bit chilly on Saturday, and I'm just joking about it being closed not a big deal. -

... amateur. Also yes, the Log Flume will be open for the fun people in your group. You are a filthy liar, log flume was closed and my children were devastated. Well the one that was large enough to ride was at least. The one year old was equally as upset but was distracted by the petting zoo and stray leaves on the ground, so dodged a bullet there. Had a pretty good visit all things considered, it was slammed but I made a quick solo lap in the morning and got on mostly everything I wanted to ride. -Banshee was great, not like Montu or Raptor good but a really solid invert. Never been a fan of B&M invert first drops but wow that drop was crazy. -We got stuck on on our backs in the station one Firehawk, on the first train of the morning. Seriously they opened the ride, loaded a train, dispatched....and then it broke down. Whatever, that things stinks anyways and the ops fastlaned us into Flight of Fear so that was worth laying on my back for 20 minutes. -Flight of Fear is still all kinds of awesome. 2nd or 3rd best coaster in the park for me. -I take back what I said about Diamondback, had a lot more fun than I remembered on that thing. -Vortex was running well, and was a lot of fun, maybe it's just personal nostalgia but I still love that ride. -Beast and Racer were both running really great. -The Snoopys Pumpkin patch Halloween event was a lot of fun for the kids, but that park could seriously use something for kids under 48". And how about a playground or something somewhere else in the park other than Planet Snoopy. There is seriously nothing for kids outside of Planet Snoopy (Dino trail was closed for haunt). -Mystic Timbers looks great in person, much more excited about that ride after seeing it than I was after the announcement. -The park was slammed after like 4 oclock. Spent $20 on the fast lane spinner wheel and won passes for Diamondback, Backlot Stunt Coaster, The Bat, and Vortex, but even the fastlane ques were backed up quite a bit. -

... amateur. Also yes, the Log Flume will be open for the fun people in your group. Oh if the flume is open I will be on it. Whitewater Canyon not so much...... Correction, I want to ride everything I possible can but the little ones are taking priority in my old age thus the appraoch to the park must be selective and strategic. I should have said Banshee, Beast, and Flight of Fear are my priories because they are the best things there. Diamondback was pretty meh for me back in 09 and 10, like a bigger faster worse version of Goliath. I kind of forgot about Top Gun (it'll always be Top Gun to me!), but I'll defiantly have to check that one out again, rides in the back car used to be a blast. Also, side note but this is more or less my first trip to a non-Disney/Seaworld park with the little ones and I was kind of surprised at the height restrictions for some of the rides there. I get that they have an awesome kids section in Planet Snoopy with all kinds of rides for really little kids but for intermediate age/height kids the selection is pretty thin. Adventure Express and Italian Job (#NeverForget) are both 48" height requirement which kind of seems absurd but oh well. -

I just bought tickets and am heading to the park Saturday. For what was essentially my home park growing up this will be my first visit in 7 years so I'm pretty excited. I was considering a Fast Lane but the more I thought about it the only rides I really care about riding are Banshee (new and haven't been on it yet),The Beast and maybe Flight of Fear. Still might get a Fast Lane (we're only going early during the day) so may just play it by ear based on the crowd. The water rides aren't open during the fall right, not even the Log Flume? Not that I want to ride the flume in 50 degree weather but I'm sure the kids will. The kids Halloween stuff sounds pretty good online so looking forward to checking that out with the little ones. -

Sounds like we have basically the same fantasy team, I am also struggling. -
Same, and his concert last month was insane, so much fun.

Yeah that's the thing, no body is afraid of Case Keenum and Tavon Austin hurting them down field in the passing game so it's easy to load up the box against the only real offensive weapon the Rams have which is Gurley. So even though the Falcons won in Denver yesterday I'm still not sure they're really a good team. For me that game raised more questions about Denver than it did answer questions about Atlanta. Denver's defense is great but you still gotta score points, and I'm not sure they can with Paxton Lynch. Siemien looked better early but I think he will eventually struggle when he gets back into the lineup. Meanwhile Tom Brady is still Tom Brady, Patriots at Steelers in a few weeks should be the best game of the first half of the season. -
This is just a prototype but I could see this type of ride system working fairly well as a dark ride if they could increase capacity. I'm sure the thing could be programmed to be "controlled" in some areas and move at a set speed through other show scenes, might be kind of a fun twist to navigate through certain sections of an intricate dark ride at higher speeds. Also we don't really know what the capacity is but if there are 10+ vehicles on the track at once it might not be as low as you think.

Yeah, as someone who follows football as closely as I do I honestly had never heard of Mcadoo when the Giants made that hire. His resume wasn't particularity impressive but then again the Redskins hired an offensive coordinator when he was 28 so who knows what the makeup of a successful coach is these days. -

Good enough to justify a 3 year extension! I guess....... Yeah, I'm not "sold" on the Rams as a playoff team or anything but wins vs two playoff teams from last year in the division is nothing to laugh at. I may have said it here a few pages back, or somewhere else I don't remember (thanks lack of concussion protocol before 2007) but wait until about week 7 and the picture will be a lot clearer. Are the Falcons good? They lost to the Bucs week 1 then smoked the Panthers this week? The Steelers? they boat raced the Chiefs a week after losing to the Eagles by 30. Falcons at Broncos is probably the best game this week, should be interesting to see what that offense can do against Denver's defense. Also, are we watching the beginning of the OBJ 30 for 30 about that time when the best receiver in the league decided to walk away from football because no body liked him and he didn't like the game anymore? The Giants are a mess. -
^It is exciting but unfortunately after this round is over it's back to another couple months of the same ole boring baseball.

Haha, I'm just messin with ya. As far as Leveon Bell I don't know much about him other than he can't keep his nose clean long enough to play a full season, then again that doesn't seem to hurt Pittsburgh much, what are they now 5-2 in games without him or something? If there's any position you don't mind a start player taking a few games off through the season it's probably at running back anyways. It's amazing how the game of football somehow re-invents itself to an extent every few years. I mean 5 or 6 season ago if you didn't have an elite quarterback who was throwing 50 TDs a season you weren't going to win a Superbowl. Now all of the "elite" QB's a struggling and teams with elite defenses are thriving (Denver, Minnesota, Seattle, Carolina last year). The two best teams in the league right now have Sam Bradford and Tevor Seimien/Paxton Lynch playing QB, haven't seen that in a long time. -

What a difference 3 weeks makes, 3-1 and first place in the division with wins over Seattle and Arizona with Case Keenum playing QB. If Goff pans out a develops the future in LA might be bright. -

QB- Jay Cutler RB1- Adrian Peterson RB2- Leveon Bell WR1- Dez Bryant WR2- Steve Smith Sr. TE- Aaron Hernandez Flex- Terrelle Pryor? D/ST- Seattle Kicker- Sebastian Janikowski -

Don't quote me on this but I'm pretty sure the owners of Beech Bend currently or used to have their own trucking company (I think that's where some of their money came form).
