B&M Track seen at factory
SLUSHIE replied to TheKlockster's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
The thicker spine is just used for longer sections of track without supports. http://www.rcdb.com/ig3290.htm?picture=27 Track it was to narrow to be a dive machine. -
Well the answer is yes, but why. They suck, why would you want them to build one.

Why would one criticize and company for selling assets. Take control of that comany, then sell more assets. -
Steel Dragon 2000 could be scrapped!!!
SLUSHIE replied to viking86's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I think the people who own that park are a little too paranoid. I wounder if they drive cars or fly in planes or even walk. You could hurt yourself walking... so don't do it. -
Isnt this like the third TR of this place this summer? I wounde rhow many more we'll have by the summers end.

SLUSHIE replied to pkdcoaster's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I dont see how the forces would be any different than that of a zero G roll or anything like that. -
On Space Mountain at MK you don't even have to have your restraint down yet when they move the train from the loading area to the staging area. Its kinda weird to just sit down and all the sudden start moving and you havent even pulled your restaint down yet.

Woot gj, we havent had a package report in a long time. -
Im in Sacramento and I didn't feel it. I think some people exagerate earthquakes a bit. Earth quakes in my area shake less than it does when a semi drives down the street.

Dueling Dragons Queue line...
SLUSHIE replied to BeemerBoy's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I don't know how long the wait was, but the line was in the small switch back right before you choose your side. The other 3 times I went the line was just a couple trains. -
Eejanaika Opening Day Photos & POV Video
SLUSHIE replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Um.. its a computer. IDK what more else to say about it. -
I don't understand you. Coasters don't derail that often, and if they do they dont really come off the track they just kinda slide on it. For car in the picture to derail two of the wheel assemblys on the same side would have to come appart, and thats pretty unrealistic.

It's not a problem.

A question about rocket coasters.
SLUSHIE replied to Vekoma Fan Boy's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Ive been on Xcelerator, Top Thrill Dragster, and Storm Runner and they were all really smooth and constant. The only launch I've experienced that was'nt smooth is SFMW's V2. The initial jerk is stron, then its kinda weak after that. It's kinda like wen you rev your engine then pop it into gear and get a large jerk then slow down before you start accelerating again. -
There are movies coming out, it is just hard to find a place that is going to sell them.

Most likely. I don't think it would look as bad as just blowing up the the PSP screen. There isnt any way to ouput the video from the PSP through the usb, so the PS3 would be taking all the info from the disc and rendering everything, so they could apply some AA and whatnot to make it look a little better. Textures wont look so great though.

Good point. I like how they have shown the usage of the PSP for the PS3 at E3 this year. Like hooking it up to the PS3 and having it show the rear view of your car in racing games and storing/selecting your inventory on other games. That is a very cool function. I'm interested to see where else the PSP will provide assistance in PS3 games. The PSP can become a very good functional tool to assist PS3 games if they do this right. They better be thinking of a lot of extra stuff to do for that system if they expect people to pay $600 for it. I'm also pretty sure that you will be able to play your PSP games on the TV through the PS3.

The PS3 will make the PSP interesting again.
