Kinda weird that this is the second year in a row where Great Adventure has changed the name of their new ride.

As of now, the only pass that I own is a Cedar Fair Platinum Pass (purchased through Valleyfair). In the past, I've held a Valleyfair gold pass, and I held a FunCard to SeaWorld Orlando in the several months before I moved away from Florida.

I too am a fan of Gemini. One of the smoothest Arrows out there and has some nice airtime pops. If it was removed, I would be a bit disappointed but I wouldn't be devastated. I would much rather see them remove Mean Streak, Iron Dragon, or Corkscrew.

Granted, but the park closes after a year due to lack of attendance. I wish for coaster season to come faster.

There's a chance I might be visiting Kentucky Kingdom this summer in June. How much does single-day admission usually cost? I checked the park website and couldn't find anything.

There is a chance I might be going to Holiday World during the second week of June. Two questions: 1) How large should the crowds be? 2) Recommendations for any decent hotels within 20 minutes of the park?

They said on their Facebook page a few weeks ago that it's mostly ground work going on right now, but they're getting closer to going vertical.

While it looks more like it'll be a "theming-over-thrills" kind of park (I prefer thrills over theming), it is nice that we might be having a new theme park in Minnesota. In other news, the 2016 operating schedule has been released. It's pretty much the same as last year, except the park will be closed for two Sundays in June instead of one.

Just found out that I might be going to Las Vegas in March over Spring Break. Trip isn't cornfirmed yet, but if I go, my next park will probably be the Adventuredome.
