  1. Raptor? Really? Patriot... Sure. Talon... Possibly. Silver Bullet... Crazier things have happened, I guess. But Raptor? A coaster the scale of Raptor? No, no. Come on.
  2. It'd be great to see CF buy another block of GCI's. Totally thinking out loud but. Big woodies (3500-4000ft) at CP and CW and something smaller (~3300ft) at DP. Maybe Goldstriker was the first of multi ride deal? I'd still put my money on an invert a la Banshee in 2016. Ziz is coming! I kid, I kid. We now return to your regularly scheduled program.
  3. Fun fact: There is no confirmation that the coaster is being removed from Cedar Point, it could very well be that floorless conversion that many are discussing about. And, if that does happen, it will still be the first B&M that cannot ever be ridden again. Think about it: B&M built a particular standup roller coaster at Cedar Point. Will you ever be able to ride that ride again? It's sort of a special situation that us coaster nerds should recognise. I mean, they've built over 96 roller coasters since 1991 and this is the first that something is actually happening to? Wikipedia doesn't even have a 'Closed' tab next to the 'Opened Year' tab because it doesn't need it. That's an amazing record of installations! Does Iron Wolf aka Apocalypse at SFA formerly from SFGrAm ring any bells?? Can you still ride the B&M standup formerly named Iron Wolf? Yeah, but if Mantis gets moved to Dorney and renamed Insect-a-hawk, it's the same situation?! B-T-Dubs.... What year did Mantis open? What page is this? You're welcome. Stay tuned for a similar situation in two pages featuring our friend, Power Tower!
  4. Some incomplete thoughts. Spill the beans... Coffee... Coffee beans? Is there a correlation there? LOL Baseball field.. Do they feel like they've got a home run on their hands? Floor references definitely make me think he's pointing to Floorless..... That's all I got.... You're welcome
  5. Pencils involved. New wooden coaster? LOL
  6. What did Valleyfair ever do to you? Why are you so evil? The park already has plenty of mediocre coasters.
  7. Guys, don't the overly impossible coaster type comments ever get old?! I mean, really. I love the humor on this site as much as the next guy, but come on! The 500ft, inverted, wooden, launched, AquaTrax by RMC type lines just get old after like 3 of them.
  8. Anyone else think it's extraordinary that the first part of the video contains the reactions of CP fanboys when they found out we were just getting a teaser video today? See the first 12 seconds:
  9. While I'm not sold that it's leaving, does anyone think they'll send it to another park? MiA, Dorney or WOF?
  10. Fury is a launched hyper?
  11. Valleyfair has TONS of potential. Market isn't the issue. It's property size. Not yet. But it will be.

  13. Not trying to be funny, but I'm voting launched Floorless. Closest Floorless would be what? Dominator.. Hydra maybe? Floorless will help sell a "no land" theme. Just my two cents.
  14. Right, I think when and if we see a B&M, we can expect it to be right around the 3,000 ft mark....
  15. Raven Maven, After the announcement, is there any plans to post a clue for clue synopsis of what each clue meant or hinted at?
  16. I think the next coaster will invert. It won't be anything TOO intense. But it will invert. I'd love to see an El Loco or Eurofighter in there.
  17. Banshee? If it was a B&M, can they market "from the designers of Chang at KK and Banshee at KI? Or no?
  18. That would be great if the carousel got a make over. It was made by Philadelphia Toboggan Coasters in 1926 for Excelsior Amusement Park then it was moved to Valleyfair and is the oldest ride in the park. It would be nice to see the horses and the rest of the ride restored. They painted the roof last year which was better than the rusting blue top but more certainly could be done so it is nice to hear that it might. Did he mention a time frame or hint at when? Never expected a Banshee size coaster but you would think a smaller one could be done like Patriot mentioned above. Thanks for sharing about your visit with GM Frasier. Well we can be pretty sure that the carousel redo will happen in 2016 or later as 2015 sounds like it will be waterpark, waterpark, waterpark. Don't be so sure. It isn't out of the question for the redo of the carousel to get done while the water park goes up. It's more of a general improvement than anything else. It's not really a marketable project. Nice little side story, but nothing headlining,. If anyone expects or was expecting a monster 7 inversion, 4100ft+ invert at VF, they're delusional. A B&M invert that's give or take 3100ft long with four, maybe five inversions.... Totally doable. Valleyfairfanatic, The GM CALLED on a SATURDAY? Impressive. Mr. Frazier is getting more and more personable with each page of this discussion! Speaking of that, I forgot to mention Dave Frazier said I could name the Intamin giga coming in 2020 if I wanted to.... Great guy! LOL
  19. At this point, I'm gonna guess Zierer launch coaster with indoor segment similar to Verbolten at BGW. Basically because of the day 12 clue. Btw, we are totally the children. Look at the latest clue. I love it.
  20. So. Looping Starship... Removed? Relocated? Michigan's Adventure? Your thoughts? Talk amongst yourselves!
  21. I hope not. I hate gimmicky rides like that.
