  1. Great report. I curse you for including overview pictures of I305... I wasted five minutes just staring at that that gorgeous piece of art work! Thanks for sharing!
  2. Exactly. This coaster seems together it right.
  3. Right?! This has been SOOOO fun! Kinda sad it's over, but totally stoked to see this coaster come to life.
  4. They started talking about a B&M invert in 2002 or earlier. Falcon: Flight of Fear was heavily rumored back then. Totally agree with you about the latest additions. Of note: I don't know anyone who saw Route 76 coming and everyone seems to be happy with it. We are completely taking shots in the dark but that's half the fun of being enthusiasts. Good point about bigger due to expansion. I agree with this statement. However, a standard Eurofighter WILL NOT happen at VF. I'd bet my life. I know your not saying it will either. If we didn't spend the offseason guessing and being armchair planners, we'd go nuts. Lol Good point. Btw, Mad Mouse was Arrow and MiA got one the same year. So business as usual there. But still a good point. Yes! Only with trains. Not these cars Gerstlauer seems to fancy. Valid point. Makes you wonder how much pull a GM has in a corporate park. Long post but I had to do something waiting for the Wildfire announcement!
  5. For the record, I showed my opinions of an SLC in the last page or two. B&M is where my money is. Has been for years. Granted we have received an Intamin and a GCI since then, but still.
  6. I'm legitimately expecting launched wood, or drop tower
  7. Opa will be in top notch operations condition once it's under the ownership of Wade Shows. He runs nothing but quality.
  8. Neither is Worlds of Fun and they got Patriot... Worlds of Fun is slightly ahead of Valleyfair in terms of revenue, and the market was a lot better back in 2006 when Patriot was built for what seems now a measly $14mil. We could see a B&M similar to Patriot built at Valleyfair, but with today's coaster prices, looking around anywhere from $16-18 million, that's a lot of capital for Valleyfair to support for being the 2nd smallest park in the chain. Agreed. However, I don't believe that will stop Valleyfair from receiving a B&M. We are the only park in the chain without one except for MiA. We were scheduled to receive one in 2005. But plans were scrapped and the contract became Hydra at Dorney.
  9. Neither is Worlds of Fun and they got Patriot...
  10. While I respect your opinion, I'd be very surprised to see VF get an SLC. Correct me if I'm wrong, but CF has only ever bought one Vekoma (Woodstock Express at CP). The rest were gained in the Paramount and Geagua Lake acquisitions. I'd expect nothing but B&M for VF's next coaster.
  11. I see they have started on Lake Erie Eagles. The center mast is vertical.
  12. I agree. I can't wait to see the finished product. Valleyfair's too.
  13. Is that an ambulance on the job site? To the right of the boom fork lift. To the right of the boom fork lift.
  14. I resent the Chance / Arrow track. Lol. Maybe because my home park has Cork Screw and Wild Thing and Excalibur and no B&M track. LOL
  15. Nice find! After Goliath, I'm hoping for a crazy RMC once again. An inverted wooden? Nah, it's too 2013. I rather like a ! /shameless self-promotion Has anyone ever confirmed inverted wood is possible or even in development? I think this coaster could be launched... The first launch woody. Highest drop too. BTW, great NL2 concept video.
  16. Are you really sure about that date?
  17. Anything saying it's going to be a ride? Could be new dining options or entertainment.
