That pretty much sums up my feeling for Hades too. It actually reminded me a lot of Millennium Force, such that the elements seem so big and far apart, that it never feels like anything interesting is ever happening (excluding the tunnel, which rocks). I certainly don't dislike Hades (like I do MF), but I feel very "meh" towards it. Your Mount O experience also parallels my own - I have felt very little need to return. Cameron.

Silver Dollar City typically closes in the early evening, but Celebration City opens in the mid-afternoon and is a ghost town until SDC closes. It's worth leaving SDC a little early for Celebration City .. Just park yourself at Ozark Wildcat, and have the best time ever! Second, be sure to do the (free) cave tour at Silver Dollar City.. You will have a great time at both parks, I'm super envious. Cameron.

Wow - it looks like Darien Lake has really gone down hill. I was there in 1998 (or maybe 1999), and it actually was quite nice. Shame to see it like this, hopefully the new owners will fix the place up over the next few years.. Cameron.

Great photos, thanks for posting! I'm a F1 fan too .. Growing up in Australia (Melbourne) I'd always watch the Adelaide Grand Prix on TV (instead of studying for finals!). They then moved it to Melbourne just 6 months after I'd moved to Chicago .. so I still haven't seen it! Still, my parents now live less than a mile from the track in Melbourne - so I just need to visit them in March and I'll be able to walk down to watch the fun!
