I noticed that this year as well. Last year I thought it was gonna be like the Freedom Festival has become and mostly centered on Detroit (though Windsor still has the carnival and equally great view as the other side of the river of the fireworks), but it surprised me just how much coverage we received on the Canadian side. Still don't know why they wouldn't have gone with Windsor/Detroit again this year, though. Billboards advertising Windsor as the sole host city have been up for a couple of months now, including two I saw in Michigan.
