When we were at SDC recently I could not deal with the group of teenage girls in front of us with their football player boyfriends acting like they knew everything trying to freak the girls out... My favorite statement of the day? "Don't you know a girl flew out of this ride when the trains derailed?" ... #ImDone

How is Outlaw Run? ... Outlaw Run is simply one of (if not) the best RMC creation to date. From the moment you leave the lift hill it is nothing but amazing. The g-forces are amazing, the speed is relentless, and the double barrel roll at the end is the best finale I have ever experienced on a coaster. Goliath just seems to wonder through the track, and linger in places. It does not feel nearly as fast paced as Outlaw Run. Not to mention Goliath seems to hit the brake run to soon. It feels like the coaster should be longer than it is, not the case with Outlaw Run.

I must say... I HATE the cold. I HATE HATE HATE it!!! However, if I am going to a theme park, and its going to be cold outside there are several things I will do. I will dress in layers. I make sure my over jacket has zipper pockets. In those pockets I will keep my gloves. I wear two layers of socks, and I keep the hand warmers in my pockets for use when I get super cold. I am glad you brought up this topic! 1.) It is getting me excited for cold weather at the parks! 2.) Reminded me I need to go get hand warmers!

I would: -Revive the 1st gen Freefalls! They were such fun and scary rides! -Not revive Zippers. -Kill off Cliffhanger rides. They are so uncomfortable.

Such awful news. I must admit I had to YouTube what ride this was. It's interesting that something like that happened on what looks like such a simple ride. Just goes to show, accidents can happen any where.

So going through random YouTube videos from SFOG I found this video of Acrophobia. The song the ride op sings is actually rather amusing! "Joy to the world... The drop has come" Check it out! (Song starts at 0:43)

The RMC Fire strikes again!! First Goliath.. Now TC!! Whats next WC?!?! In all honesty though: 1.) Glad no one was hurt! 2.) I'm pretty sure SF and RMC will still be able to get TC up and running... about 2-4 months after opening day! Can't wait to see TC progress!

Just a quick question for of SFOG regulars. Can anyone tell me if SFOG has a single rider line? If so which rides have it? I've never been to the park and I'll be spending a day there by myself. It will be a Saturday in Mid-October. What kind of wait times do you all think I can expect?? Thanks in advance!

Demolish Mantis, or Retheme and add floorless trains... Either way I'm sure Cedar Point won't disappoint us.

I am going with Cedar Fair. Every Cedar Fair park I have ever been to has never disappointed me. Amazingly friendly staff, and a great selection of coasters. Six Flags to me = Rude employees, rides running with NOT enough trains on the track to account for the amount of guest in the park, and they always seem to be more dirty than CF parks.

My coaster crush goes to Top Thrill Dragster. To me everything about it is amazing! The speed, the height! Everything! I know it is a "one trick pony" But that is an amazing one trick! I can seriously sit in the grand stands all day and just watch this amazing piece of machinery work!

I did notice last time I was at the park the old tower did have a lot of antennas on it. So possibly that is why they are keeping it around. Or maybe they are keeping it around for future theme element for a ride like Fire Chaser Express!

After looking back on TC.. Am I the only one who is THRILLED to see a color of track from RMC that is NOT red or orange?!

I am glad I am not the only one who doesn't enjoy the cobra roll on Raptor! Again, I am glad I am not the only one who thinks that Mantis is not "that bad." I too find it enjoyable, even if it is just a few times. So glad to see I am not the only one who feels this way about MF. It is a lot of fun, but to me people hype it up so much... and it really is not all that. To me its just another coaster. Nothing super amazing. Quote For Truth. --- Maverick is by far the best ride in the park. Nothing can compare. The airtime, the drop, the second launch... Everything about it is perfect! Glad you enjoyed your visit! After reading your review I am glad to know that I am not the only one who feels certain ways towards certain coasters! You got me all hyped up for my next visit to the park! I love watching this ride! It is so amazing to watching in action! However, riding it? NO!! Unless they install barf bags in the cages! Until then I will happily watch! I do however love these rides! They make my chest hurt after a few rides, but they are still fun!

I do not think I could ever ride that. I got motion sickness just watching it.

This looks to be a fantastic addition to the park! I can NOT wait to get out there and try it out! This is the 2015 attraction I am most excited about!!!

Just a fun thought... What would be awesome to see is keep one traditional chain lift, just raise it to a higher height. After the train travels the first course have the train return to the opposite lift. However instead of having it a lift have it a launch! (Similar to Maverick with the mid course launch.) We would get the first launched wooden coaster, and it would be a nice lengthy coaster. (One can hope right?!)
