Just recently actually. When was the last time you rode a water ride at a theme park, and you came off the ride dry? -

So excited to see the new restraints on Maverick. We are making a trip up to the park this summer, and this will be a nice improvement over the previous restraints. I know that coaster enthusiast learn how to "ride" the coaster, by leaning into the turns and such to avoid the "neck chopping." However, the General Public may not know this, so these restraints will be a huge benefit to the GP as well! -

A few minutes on YouTube. Got stuck on some stupid car crash compilation thing. When was the last time you rode a trap door water slide? -
Well since we have a LOT of theme park trips coming up this summer... I just bought a new pair of "Theme Park Shorts" I really needed some new shorts with zipper pockets, so I found some I loved. 2 zipper pockets on each side, 2 Velcro pockets on each side, and each rear pocket is Velcro! So happy with them, and the only cost me $69.99 plus tax!

First off, I apologize if this has already been discussed. I did several searches, and went through like 13 pages of each search and I came up with similar topics, but not what I was actually looking for. (If it has been discussed and I over looked it, feel free to merge the two threads.) So with that being said... on with the topic! What roller coaster(s), thrill ride(s), waters slide(s), ect. Once existed but is now gone that you never got a chance to ride, and you wish you would have had the chance? And why? Feel free to post photos, videos, ect. One of the major ones I can think of for me is Zonga. So many Schwarzkopf coasters were/are surprisingly intense, and Zonga looked to be amazing. It looked to pull some really nice G's, and wish I would have had the chance to ride it.

Heading out to the park in a few days, and just wanted to check and see if any of you might know the answer to my question. We purchased THE FLASH Pass Platinum, and are really looking forward to our visit. Especially considering the friend I am taking has never been! I know the current rides listed as available for THE FLASH Pass are: My question is (even though not listed because they may not be "Major" attractions,) has anyone been to the park and noticed if Judge Roy Scream, or La Vibrator has a THE FLASH Pass line? If not what time of day would be best to hit up those two rides? Considering we will probably only end up riding each of those once. EDIT: Also, now that New Texas Giant is finally on THE FLASH Pass where as before it was only with Platinum and you had to make a reservation with an employee in THE FLASH Pass building at the time you purchased THE FLASH Pass... does anyone know if you can use THE FLASH Pass for New Texas Giant just like any other coaster? Where you can make reservations for it more than once in during your visit?

Six Flags vs. Cedar Fair
DoinItForTheFame replied to RIP Psyclone's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I may be in the minority here, but I personally prefer Cedar Fair parks. I have never had a bad experience at a Cedar Fair park, but I have had several bad experiences at Six Flags parks. To me Cedar Fair customer service has always been better than Six Flags. For the most part anytime I am at a Cedar Fair park especially Cedar Point every single employee I come in contact with actually seems to be enjoying their job. They are having fun, and you can really tell they enjoy what they do. They are motivated, and working with a purpose. At Six Flags on the other hand, almost every time I am at a Six Flags park almost all employees I come in contact with seem like they would rather be any where else in the world then at work. They don't seem to be having fun, they don't seem to enjoy their job. They do not ever seem to move with a sense of urgency... Maybe I am being to critical, and expecting to much of park employees? However, my vote stands based on my own experiences. I very much prefer Cedar Fair parks over Six Flags parks. -
Well, that was disappointing. Video promised to show the ride testing, and all we got was someone telling us that it's testing. Did you watch the video?? There was a clip at the beginning, and end showing the ride testing. Granted we didn't get to see a full circuit test run, the only thing we didn't see was the "first drop." There was still some clips of it testing.
