^The episode doesn't revolve around the villain Bizarro anyways. They used the term Bizarro to mean opposite in a way. I'm very glad to see Superman return. The park really let Bizarro go to crap quickly. Hopefully they can take care of it this time. (What am I kidding? This is Six Flags we're talking about)

I have heard complaints about every coaster that's been added in the last few years. Valravn, Gatekeeper, this, Goliath... and the list goes on and on. A clone just gives people even more of a reason to whine. Just be happy you're getting a coaster at all. I haven't been able to say the same for my home park in many years.

Ooooh that's gotta be quite the show. How'd that Miller trade work out? Just poking fun since I live in the Buffalo area. I'm a die hard Red Wings fan anyways. Back on topic, the Larson Loops are actually underrated rides. Most people thought that they would be horrible carny trash, but I actually found them to be quite enjoyable. Definitely a big surprise. The lights are nice too.

Can you tell me where the nearest Coasters R Us is located. I need one of those bad boys for my backyard. -
I want to believe it's fake and the surprise isn't spoiled, but that looks really good. If it is real, the colors look good, but why would they go with the small model again? It would be a lot more marketable if it were longer and had more flips. I'm hearing a lot of good things though, so I bet this will be a hit.

I doubt it. They wouldn't add two coasters in a row, and there would be large land clearing by now. The "Tx 3" teaser makes believe that the addition will be a flat package. Possibly a Larson Loop, an Air Race, and a looping Frisbee model that was rumored. All of those rides go upside down though, so they will probably add at least one that doesn't to balance it out.

^^True... I meant that more in the GP's eyes. Every time somebody mentions Nitro all I hear is "Train ___ has a rattle!! It's the end of the world!!!" -

Have you ridden both of them? The ride experience is *totally* different. Skyrush is a succession of hills, airtime, and twists, while I305 is a succession of turns, transitions, and a couple hills for good measure. The ride each of them gives is totally different from each other, not to mention train design/experience. I have, and I didn't do a good job of wording that. I meant to say that they are close on an intensity level. Both of them are built purely for the thrill seekers and nothing else. Both of them have their share of airtime, curves (I was thrown around a lot on Skyrush), and quick transitions. A B&M can be built big too, but they are much more graceful, and can fit a larger audience. Not everyone can ride I305 or Skyrush because it is either too much for them, or the restraints don't conform well to them. I have never heard anybody complaining about the comfort or re-rideability on a B&M. -

As much a I love Skyrush and wouldn't mind 5 of them at any park, it's probably too close to I305. -
I'm thinking it was for the same reason why Beaver Bros, Boomerang, and later Motocoaster were built there. They wanted to bring more people to the Darien Square area of the park. Twister is the only one that wasn't successful with that because of its awkward location, and most people forget about it; it is down so much.

I don't believe anything anymore until I see it. There have been too many people saying they "have seen corporate talking in the park" or have "insider sources giving them information". How many users have there been on this thread alone that join, post some rumor claiming they know somebody important, then disappear once they realize their "rumor" (really just pipedreams) didn't come true. I'll just be overwatching the real sources (that don't always make thing public) for any new information. - The assessor's office will publish a sale of the property pretty soon after it is made - The planning board will publish notes from meetings and documents of any plans - Local newspapers/websites sometimes get information first and make small leaks hidden within articles

What is PTC doing right now?
coasterkid124 replied to coaster57's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
It's a shame that they stopped making coasters, because that will likely be the death of them. Although their trains are so widely used, there are other options now that require less maintenance and ride more comfortable. -
Ludicrous park food prices
coasterkid124 replied to GigaG's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
That's just nuts. I understand the parks have to make money, but come on.. $60 for a family of four to eat? Give people a break.
