  1. Thoughts after my visit: After seeing how much of the Gwazi area is still Gwazi themed, I somehow doubt the saga of Tampa's finest ass massager is quite over. Cheetah Hunt, Kumba, Sheikra and Montu might be the best "big 4" coasters at any park. Scorpion desperately needs another train. It's wait time shouldn't be nearly as long as it is. RIP Rhino Rally.
  2. ^Not as packed as they once were if one has a look at the annual earnings report the company has put out the past two years. They had little choice at this point to either change their product or continue moving backwards each year at their parks. The part that concerns me is that Orcas will likely just be the beginning - I still don't understand how the public can call Orca shows an outrage but have no real issues with Dolphin captivity, despite their obvious similarities in cognitive ability. Sea World (especially San Diego) has long been one of the best run conservation programs in the country, and I hope they are able to turn their image around before more damage is done. There's no anti-dolphin documentary, and besides, dolphin shows are so common that the group responsible couldn't claim victory. Besides, the dolphin show isn't a marquee attraction.
  3. I still hope it ends up in the US sooner or later... It's compact enough that any number of major parks could house it.
  4. The "Excavator" wooden mine train coaster planned for the Dinoland section of Animal Kingdom (specifically the Chester and Hester subsection). It was gonna have a machine dinosaur.
  5. Ah, the joys of weird coasters that, unlike Chinese knockoffs, won't try to rape you.
  6. My opinion on Expedition Everest's first drop depends on which one you consider the first drop. Both "true" first drops (after the mini lift at the start and the little one before the backwards section) are teeny for such a large coaster, but if you consider either of the other 2 options (the start of the backwards section, or the drop out of the mountain) then there's far more "holy shit" factor than one might think. In conclusion, Expedition Everest's layout is really weird when you think about it. Still loads of fun though.
  7. Any Disney Vekoma, especially Everest and Rock n Rollercoaster. In the non-Disney division, Nighthawk.
  8. Come on guys, Hurler isn't that bad. (Just kidding, RIP Thunder Road, you will be missed)
  9. I'm thinking the Spider-Man/Transformers ride system, possibly with a shooting element as well. Chainsaw noises are a must.
  10. I'm happy to announce Hollywood Rip Ride RockIt is going to play a role in Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No! Yes, seriously.
  11. I love it! Here's to hoping for Schwarzkopf or B&M hyper train designs next! Pyro "It even has the OTSRS!" Zooka
  12. Some comments from my visit last night: The Mine Train became a water ride thanks to a Splashwater Falls boat cycling at the right time GASM was running very smooth namtaB isn't something you ride with your mind, it's something you ride with your balls Goliath was rattling, but still very awesome.
  13. I like the idea, but where would I.. I mean we put it?
