just got home. it was dead. we didn't ride, batman, apocalypse, superman, and viper. the rest were walk ons. often running partial empty trains. parking lot was as other have said this week. full first section and the part in front of the picnic area. that's with HH. it was hot, but surprisingly manageable. actually did back to back roaring rapids. i haven't even ridden it in years. lol oh, jet stream mid afternoon was the longest line i saw. over the bridge and down to the entrance. good day

I got them back! Kinda surprised I only had to wait a half hour after the park closed. I highly recommend this money belt. i put my car key in it. It's like a very thin fanny pack that goes under your clothes so nobody knows you are wearing it... money belt image Just search for "money belt" on ebay a flip belt works pretty good as well. https://flipbelt.com/ i can't fit my iphone 6 plus comfortably in it anymore though.

i kind of don't understand why they didn't give passholders a free friend pass this week instead of last week. i know other six flags parks are getting theirs this week. seems like it would make more sense to try to fill more of the park up. or maybe staff gets cut down, so it's better last week for them.

Horrible Park Operations

i've read this before and it shocked me because last year i was so impressed with all of kings island and especially diamondback. they were hitting their 45 second target over and over. the crew would come over, get your belongings, and take them to the storage units for you. boom, into seats, quick check and go. -
Knotts no longer has 3 hour free parking. It is now 1 hour OR 3 hours with a receipt from one of the shops or restaurants. i remember when i used to go to the park, and park in the 3 hour. come out 3 hours later, drive around the block, and park again. lol that was usually plenty of time for me at knott's. if i had even gone over the 3 hours. there getting it all back from me this year. platinum pass and haven't gone once, to any park.

i went for the first time since transformers was new last wednesday. place was packed. did the tram at roughly 1pm. that had to be the height of length of the line. it was almost half the size when we got back. first time i waited through the full line for transformers. only times before was single rider, or soft opening when no one was there. oh, and pass holder preview. anyway, i vote afternoon too for the tram.

still want to get a gold flash pass for the WCB day, yea? how are lines? I wouldn't expect it to be terribly busy as it's just after they go back to weekend-only operation. If you really want to go nuts, thats your prerogative, but I doubt it will be necessary especially since we will have ERT on most of the coasters with the longest lines, and 2 of the ones that we don't have ERT on have single rider lines. SIVELTON2 - woohoo, see ya there! it's also, Hallelujah Jubilee day. so not sure how much that adds to attendance. i'm expecting it to be fairly crowded. i'll be sleeping somewhere during the day though.

How bad were the sand flies? We rode Top Thrill in the front seat at dusk last year and got plastered. I wanted to ride MF at night this year at Halloweekends and was considering sitting in the back seat because of the sand flies. i got nailed so bad a couple years ago. we ended up waiting too long for the front so dusk hit and i swear we had to be the first ones through when they all congregated. lol i was covered. in my eye, nose, mouth. shirt became a polka dot shirt. too me forever to clean my shirt after i got home. haha -
Is anybodys home park their favorite?

I'm 4 miles from Knotts Berry Farm, 55 miles from Magic Mountain. Neither are mine. But, having to get on a plane to somewhere I'd rather be, I enjoy them the best I can. -
