  1. anything they do to brighten up any part of the park, i'm all for. bringing back revolution to a point where it's a solid ride in their lineup is something i'm all for. i sort of hope they trim some of the trees so we will be able to see more of the ride from the pathways.
  2. Me love them long time if they did...I don't think it's that easy to do manually though except if it was already close maybe by how you configure weight in the train. I've seen rollbacks on the second launch but never the first on YOLO. i've rolled back on the second launch. we flew through the tunnel and didn't stop. so still got the same amount of launches. we got to go again without getting up, so that was fun. that was opening day.
  3. where it's located is nice because it's away from beach blvd. should be nice and quiet. i used to work just across the street.
  4. along with my button pic i took these of the awesome trash cans taken at about 1pm. LOL
  5. i got an email in July telling me my membership would go up by 25 cents. so, 5.99 is actually cheaper still. not sure if you got the same email or not.
  6. it's possible the gold add on needs to be done at the processing center. not 100% sure. I don't remember how they did mine last year
  7. Does anyone know? And speaking of, does anyone want mine? I don't drink soda you can still get other choices with the multi coke machines...like, flavored dasani water. i might be going tomorrow if they are giving out last ride buttons, and if the line is short, redeem my dining pass. if you still don't want the bottle, i'd take it for free?
  8. www.rockandbrews.com/location/buena-park/ this place just opened not long ago. seems pretty cool, too. the few times i've driven by, it's been jammed packed. also, bring a can of Raid for your stay at the buena park rodeway. LOL
  9. it's been since at least june when i bought mine. i had no idea, but when i was getting dinner, the girl asked me if i wanted to get my snack as well. i asked what, and she said a shake. well don't mind if i do. pretty much my go to snack now.
  10. SFGAM Goliath's drop is awesome, lightning rod's is probably going to be phenomenal with the quick "lift" and pre drop. i'm excited and curious how Joker's drop will be. i haven't been to DK since before they V2 was dual V's. lol
  11. pretty much. i was doing it every year like that, but now have a membership. it's great for first timers.
  12. I wonder if you called SF, if they'd let you cancel your membership early since you're overlapping it with the new one? :/ For myself, I have a current gold pass/dining pass (both non-membership), and now I'm going to switch to membership on the gold pass, and re-buy the dining pass for 2016. Errrr, I hate that the rest of 2015 overlaps with the new gold pass/dining pass! SMH! i'd highly doubt it, but when i do go next week, i'll see if it's possible to pay a penalty and save anything that way. otherwise, i knew what i got myself in to.
  13. That explains that! I have the dining pass that expires at the end of this year. So I guess I'll purchase this to expand across the parks. If you find out how that works (gold pass membership + non-membership dining pass) please update Just got off the phone with SF. Basically, there's no gold pass membership dining option, only the $84.99 option. When you purchase a new membership + dining pass, the dining pass will just end at the end of 2016, and the membership will continue. No way to pass your current pass/dining to anyone else (no surprise there). yeah, i screwed up and shouldn't have bought the membership dining pass when i did. oh well, i'm still going to get this one, and just cancel the membership asap in june. guess it's not as bad as buying a cedar fair platinum pass, and not using it yet this year. i'm only 3 miles from knott's, you'd think i'd go at least once. lol
  14. Hey! Is there a reason why you're not doing the membership dining pass? I'm curious because I'm in the same position! I have the non-membership gold pass and dining pass... but I want to convert both (via this sale) to the membership gold pass/dining pass. Is there a reason you want the dining pass to not be membership as well? Curious because the membership dining isn't on sale. it's a lot more. looking, i see 13.99 per month.
  15. i don't think so. if there was, i screwed myself and never got it. i was late to the party with the dining plan though.
  16. yeah, that's what i'm thinking. to me, i'm thinking the sports bottle is worth $20. so basically roughly 70 bucks for half the year since i started the member dining pass in june. be nice if i could use both until i cancel the member dining plan, but i'd guess that's not happening. lol oh, and have dining passes always been all parks? i didn't think so.
  17. okay, question. i'm on a membership. i'm also on a dining plan membership. if i understand correctly, i can cancel my dining plan after 12 months, correct? i'm trying to figure out if it's worth it for me to buy a dining plan(non membership) now, and just eat, pun intended, the wasted payments until i can cancel the membership dining plan. i guess i also want to verify if i can buy a non membership dining plan with a membership pass. this sale is pretty killer. includes unlimited drinks and 20% off merchandise. hard to pass up. i blew it last year and didn't buy it on sale.
  18. awesome to have this coaster not incredibly far from me in so cal. i love twisted colossus, but hardly ever dueling, and that long lift hill, it kinda kills the mood. be nice to ride a relentless rmc in my home state!
  19. i think it would be awesome if they announced a pressure washer! haha even the back of the TC trains last week look like they haven't been cleaned since, ever.
  20. sounds like he didn't want to give up his seat. maybe he misunderstood the platinum flash pass. lol
