Might have been the congruent silicon wheels as well. I wonder if the added weight of the shoulder restraints was partly responsible for the trains running faster as well. Probably another reason the trims were cranked up. Reduce head banging, shave the added speed of the heavier trains, and reduce the stress of the amplified forces. Those shoulder bars did a lot of bad for that ride. Thank god that's over. Now let's hope they reduce the trims as well. Tim Burkhart said at West Coast Bash that the trims were added and were staying because people were coming back injured. i forget his exact description, whiplash, or something. take that for whatever you want, but he said it.

passed by to take a look at Ghostrider today. no idea it was going to be open until 8. roughly a 1 train wait for Silver Bullet and Xcelerator at about 4ish. probably a ghost town now. anyway, looks like all the wood work is done on Ghostrider. still no steel i can see anywhere except the lift and pre lift.

yeah, looking through all pictures all over of the train, the chassis sure didn't look new, imo. it just looks decently refurbished with new replaceable parts. i'm around a lot of custom auto stuff and knowing guys who build car frames and everything steel and aluminum, they just didn't look new to me. the seats look great and the composite work looks top notch.

curious to know if the trains have all new chassis as well. the pictures/videos i've seen make me think they aren't. which is fine, i'm just curious. looks like the lap bars are the same length which i was never a fan of. i hated the otr's, but also didn't like where the lap bar was located. as far as VR, i must have watched 10ish VR stuff at CES this year. hoping for much better with the moving train.

here's some pics i took real fast on sunday. i don't know how far along it was before, but this was sunday. What is that gazebo structure in the first picture? i remember you could go in there and look at the nice water, many many moons ago. lol

you're funny. but seriously, i was there for a couple hours. rode the new green train on TC. didn't really pay attention to much else except using my dining pass after waiting for 40 minutes. all parking turnstiles were open. when i left, they were using the exit side medal detectors, so every lane was open, which was nice. the lines were still past the ticket booths and solid packed. they sectioned off an area so people could leave which i was impressed with. Revolution looks nice. the paint on the walkway, trees and dirt was pretty nice and bright as well!

last time i did ghostrider, it was like my only ride on green lantern, i thought i could really have something irreversible happen to my body. serious. LOL apocaylypse hasn't made me feel like that, yet. hate when goliath stops, wish they could just throw a small brake before the helix or something instead of that mid course brake. front left is a bit hairy if you're coming from a dead stop. lol the TC trains definitely seem to be all over the place now. before, if you left exactly at the same time, you'd be going up the double up side by side. the high five would be off but the top gun and zero g would be right on. now i never know how the trains will line up. i figure it's just worn wheel bearings, weather, weight, etc. etc.

Please... PLEASE don't be "that guy." If you are going to post something like this you should post pictures, and a source otherwise no one is going to believe you. Especially when 99.9856498746% of us have viewed the "Revolution revamp" photo TR... and we KNOW that the loop is being painted. Yes, they have put up the frame that will hold the lights around the loop. And if I am correct (which I may not be, but I think I am...) the frame that will hold the lights is actually the supports the loop, and that "frame" was constructed in 1976. . . So yes. They have put up that frame... they put it up in 1976. it is all white again, and i like it better. but really, i'd rather the whole thing just be new white paint. can't always post pictures from just any old site on the web.
