Got it, my GF was off and wanted to go that weekend but we always go two or three weekends for frightfest so I wasn't really wanting to go that weekend lol.. but we might go up for part of the day Sunday then to catch the last day of the water park.. we where going this weekend but cancelled our plans do to all the rain from the hurricane possibly moving through the area.. we went last year during all that rain (from another hurricane I believe) and six flags kept closing early so didn't want to waste a weekend this weekend lol Might be ATT or Cricket.. I know they have big offices there in ATL Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk

Anyone know what's going on at the park on Sept 18th? I find it weird the water park is open and six flags is on a Sunday but not on Saturday. Is that a special event or something? I didn't find it on events ha-ha.. I jsut find it weird they are open Sunday and not Sat. And man I wish they did the flash pass deal for the regular one! Or that the price included two people lol Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk

Yeah I have a membership from the first year they created them for GA and I purchased it right after Christmas that year that cost me (currently) 5.50/month gold with free parking and 4.21/month for a regular for my GF.. Always buy early from Six flags! My memberships where cheaper but they went up a little but not nearly as much as their newer ones lol Then I had a flash sale in my email Feb or March (I can't remember) about $35 meal plans. It's their basic plan but I get 1 meal and one snack a visit.. again GREAT deal! The meals on the plan tun about $12 normally and the snacks are as much as $6 so it was paid for in one weekend lol. A big funnel cake (counts as a snack) is big enough for a meal! So are cheesy bread snacks lol or a popcorn bag Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk

See parks have a lose lose.. they charge to much people complain..they offer good cheap sale prices and people complain.. I commend six flags for keeping their prices cheap and not increasing them over 30% like Disney.. Six flags will make their money back, there is no doubt about that.. see those capes that are on over half the kids backs at the park im sure those cost the park less than 25 cents a cape lol.. and yes while some will sneak to Wendy's, not as many do as people think.. that Wendy's is usually dead, everything I have been there. The park has thousands of people daily and only 10 - 25 at a time in that Wendy's if that.. the percentage is very very small.. Yes I have done the lunch at Wendy's to lol but I spend a lot on food in the park.. not as much this year bc I was offered a $35 meal plan on one of these "Flash Sale" things haha Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk

Well honestly though, my experience this is that only LR employees are following this rule.. some have said they have had it happen to them on Mystery Mine as well but whenever I have ridden it this year, the ops came by and pushed down on it everytime.. they always get that extra click on me that I hate lol Sounds like some ops don't follow the new rules yet Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk -

I thought the same thing when I saw it lol..even stole most of the name idea from Disney.. now as long as it is longer than 5 minutes it'll be good! Dollywood parades are so short that they are almost cheesy at times lol Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk -

I don't think the launch has anything to do with the issues and honestly I feel like the majority of the issues, except for some of the lap bar issues, where corrected during the almost 2 month long closure.. I have been to Dollywood a few times since it reopened and it has gone hours upon hours between closing.. when it did close it always had to do, when I was there at least, with a sensor that needed to be reset or lap bar that wouldn't open.. The launch seems to be working fine and even earlier in the season when people thought the launch was over heating I feel that wasn't the issue.. I made a post then that said when it closed for 3 hours on two separate trips they continued to launch the coaster over and over while it was closed.. this would not give the launch system time to cool We all assume it's the launch but if you just spend time at the park and watch you will see signs that point away from the launch I means look at the sings 1.) Rows closed on the train.. 2.) Having to back the trians into the station and then back onto the track and everything is fine after that. 3.) The continued launching when it does close 4.) When it goes down they are almost ALWAYS working on the train and not really the track 5.) When it was down for almost two months we hardly saw anyone working on the hill or track 6.) The last two month closure was right during the recall Stuff like that seems to point towards other issues in my mind Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk -

Anyone know when it went down? Has it been down for a few days or just not open today? I skimmed back to see if I missed anything but I thought it has been running.. I know it was last week lol Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk -
Like I said, I haven't had any major issues this year.. I do believe some of the concession stands had some issues my first visit there this year but it really wasn't the staffs fault.. both times something happened to the register and they had to call a manager over.. I then believe early on a Sunday I had to wait 10 minutes for an ice cream and only two people where in front of me I believe the better economy is a win/lose thing.. here's why, it's making staffing a nightmare for all parks.. better economy means record breaking seasons but it also means people are finding jobs.. so not enough people to work.. Dollywood is having the same issue (I'm friends with one of their hiring managers).. for some positions they are just filling the positions with warm bodies.. so I'm sure Six flags has the same issue and are just stuck filling positions with whoever they can.. so with the better economy more and more people are visiting but less and less need seasonal jobs Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk

Yup I don't believe you would have an issue if all your valuables are inside a bag.. now leave a $3000 camera sitting in one of those bins outside a backpack, you never know.. just leave it in a pack and you should be good haha Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk -
People on here complain about the operations at SFOG all the time but every time I am at the park 6 - 8 times a year, everything has been smooth as butter! Yeah it can be crowded here and there but what park isn't? We don't have 2 hour waits like Disney on most of their coasters, tickets are actually affordable (if they weren't half the people that go to SFOG couldn't get in honestly), and I always enjoy every visit.. Superman is having issues this year, I'll admit that, but the rest of the park is fine (except for DDD)... I love how SFOG makes their money elsewhere and can keep tickets cheap.. with my $35 meal plan this year I am coming out spending hardly anything every visit lol Last Season, everytime i rode Superman it was fine.. my first visit this year, right after opening had two trains and it was fine.. for all we know, it's an issue that can't be fixed easily until the off season.. I'm sure they aren't purposely neglecting it. And as far as I have heard from some pretty high up at six flags over GA (I usually try to read up on their conference call at the end of the season to confirm this) they are having a record breaking season in GA so to many aren't giving up on them. They have bins in all stations.. if you have valuables I'd consider a small backpack so that you can leave it in the bins wth valuables inside.. I do it all the time and never had issues Bins are free Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk -

I'd actually wish they didn't push the restraints down on Mystery Mine.. I try to keep my bar a little lose because that thing gets tight and they always come around and push it down tighter Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk -

Actually, I was at the park a couple of weeks ago and they would not help someone on Mystery Mine. They made his family members come over to help. I was there just two weeks ago now I guess and they pushed the lap bar down on someone to try and get that "extra light" to show up. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk -

Today is August the 16th and Dollywood was closed.. no way Adam the Woo filmed it today I'll try and swing by the park tomorrow and check.. I plan on going to Dollywood anyways tomorrow I know it was still standing just a week and half ago so if it was tore down it was sometime last week or even this weekend. I think it would be great if Dollywood has had a teaser up all season and we are just now noticing that it might be a teaser Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
