Yup it does but if I recall, it's only available on the first few rows up front.. I never pay attention anymore so they might have added it to the other seats but I am not sure Sounds like OP was in the back so they must have added it further back Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk -

That's what worries me, WE is normally a walk on, or very short wait, even on the busiest of days lol Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk -

The wait times on the app look horrible today! I hope Dollywood didn't underestimate the crowds.. Local fall breaks plus I just talked to a family that went yesterday who had evacuated to our area from Charleston to spend the weekend up here. They said lines where bad Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk -

From what I am hearing, there are lots of last minute trips to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge this weekend.. Fall break is supposed to be next week for schools here.. lots of people I know had trips to FL and Myrtle Beach planned.. all have cancelled and a lot of people are now spending at least the weekend in pigeon forge ha-ha Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk -
The mazes were decently staffed, the scarezones just were not. Like I said, one had no one it in, another had literally one woman all night. A few had a scattering of 4-6 but that's sadly it. It was! The Emergency Exit map on the outside of the building still said Dracula on it lol I don't have any basis for what it used to be but for me it definitely wasn't "cheesy kids" to me. It's 3D so there are a lot of blacklights and colors and stuff, but it is sufficiently creepy and seems pretty dark in tone. There are a few parts that may be "funhouse-y" to people (moving floor tiles, distorted and colorful hallways), but overall it seemed pretty mature. As for the wristband, I'd honestly pay the extra $10 and get a VIP wristband. The line management was so bad you might actually have a hard time getting all the premium attractions done in a night depending on when you go. Thanks for the update, I go every year so I plan to be there nxt weekend Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk

That's interesting you didn't see many scareactors.. I was told and under the impression they had the most this year, they have ever had.. and last year they had a lot!!! They have been advertising, via their emails, about how many monsters they will have this year! I assume the mummy's tomb is in the old Dracula haunt house.. that's depressing because it is very small.. I was hoping they where updating DR frights haunted house to the mummy's.. Is dr frights maze back to creepy dr Fright stuff or is it the cheesy kids again? Trying to decide if I'll be buying a wrist band next weekend when I am there lol The VIP line is new so I figured it wouldn't work very well this year. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk

It creates a lot of force which can be mistaken as rough but it doesn't shake rattle and roll you lol.. It hurts my legs and stomach the most from the airtime.. not really my head Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk -

Yup it's up already, I was very surprised.. earliest I have seen it up. I thought wow, Christmas tree in September already! Lol I don't like it there either and wish it was still in the big pond. Much easier to watch it there.. The tree wasn't on or anything but the park closes before dark right now to.. like I said though, Christmas lights where turned on, on several buildings already though Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk -

Looks like LR just went for TC to CD today... Edit: Overall though, even with LR being closed it was still a great trip.. mainly my GF and I just walked around (something we do about once a week at Dollywood).. they already had their fall festival decorations up so those where nice to see.. even had a lot of Christmas Lights up and on already.. Big tree is up as well.. petty day at the park and did ride two rides, both walk on.. Blazing Fury we had a train to ourselves and fire chaser was only half full.. If they shut rides down for low crowd's, half the rides would be shut down at Dollywood this time of year.. They may have shut it down for a scheduled maintenance and chose that day DUE to the low crowd's though.. that's possible I guess but we are in for hard times if Dollywood is now deciding to close rides due to low attendance Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk -

When I was there a few weeks ago the ride ops where saying absolutely no loose articles, not even in your pockets, are allowed on the ride.. why don't people listen!!! They even made it clear that this ride was much different than most coasters and there was no safe place on your body for loose articles Basically, since Dollywood has all the warnings, if your phone pops out and hurts someone YOU COULD be held responsible for the injury ha-ha so just keep that in mind Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk -

Everyone has their own opinions on what they like better.. my GF loves wild eagle a lot more than LR but she will ride LR with me over and over like I would wild eagle with her. She finds that LR hurts her to ride it where as Wild Eagle is much smoother And personally my favorite is still Mystery Mine lol Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk -

The two day tickets are probably just discounted one say tickets for the hotel to sale and they are offering them as a two day package.. you probably just get two one day tickets though.. Also they drop the entery gate a little before opening.. usually thirty mins Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk -

I agree, I go weekly, sometimes multiple times a week this time of year.. when October comes around its more crowded but it's still older folks and families without children looking at the changing colors of the season. Since some of the families are younger then, ride wait times are a little longer but not much.. Nov and Dec are very packed usually.. last two seasons the park has broken daily attendance records during Smoky Mountain Christmas.. Normal busy time during Nov and Dec is Saturday and Sunday but any evening can be pretty packed due to a majority of people who come for night rides on coasters and lights only. Keep in mind that I have been there several times in Dec and rides start closing right around dark due to the temp dropping.. Mostly the coasters do this. So if you want super short wait times, go now! Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk -

It actually wasn't very apocalyptic lol mostly old people shopping and all the shows where filled to the max last Wednesday. Just no lines for rides. So at times the park felt crowded and congested but mainly around the front Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk -

Yup, it was the same last Wednesday.. essentially a walk on.. I'd walk up the ramp, they would tell me what row I was assigned to and just wait for the train to complete the circuit. I really enjoyed it, got several rides in! Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk -

So anyone heard why Dollywood Express has been closed? We are going on three weeks almost 4 that it has been down I believe? Just curious if anyone has heard and rumors? Someone told me he thought it was due to us not having much rain recently and how it started a small fire a few years ago but I don't know how much truth there is to that Just curious if anyone else has heard anything? It's listed as closed today as well Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
