  1. You can pull down the hydraulic restraint during the ride. I've never seen a hydraulic restraint that locks it's position in the station and riders can't pull it down further. Really? I always try it out of habit (a habit formed from riding Medusa/Scream which always feels loose) and they never move in either direction. B&M doesn't use hydraulic restraints other than the vest harness if I remember correctly. Those on Medusa/Scream are ratchet OTSR's.
  2. Great TR! Motorbike coaster opened during the national holiday so you were very lucky FYI get a brand new coaster. I took a 2 hour trip to Sun Park during IAAPA this year but only rode the Morgan spinner knock-off and the Loop&Screw because I don't feel like paying that much for the knock-off coasters. Did you ride Motorbike Coaster at the back row? Jiuhua told me they designed the first hill like that to offer some intense airtime in the back.

  4. Favorite: Helix A few more I like: Vliegende Hollander California Screamin' Smiler (Yep I'm weird) Outlaw Run's station music X2 Space Mountain (Disneyland and HKDL)
  5. Woo hoo Interstellar today!!!
  6. I've been on that Ferris wheel, it's from Meisho if I remember correctly. That's an independent attraction.
  7. ^ That's how I feel about Fantawild as well! Fantawild and Wanda are announcing parks everywhere these days just like they are mother rabbits trying to take over Australia.
  8. Sorry for the misleading info guys, I really think I need to do some research about this company. Right now all I know is a bunch of people from Zhongye formed this company and made horrible coasters. That loops, that pre-drop, that turn before the corkscrews It would be really interesting to ride one of these coasters. Everything look so messed up and poorly designed but I would definitely try it out if I'm close to one of them. The line at the upper right of the second photo actually says "Zhipao rides are the best in the world". Seriously...
  9. Wheel bogies and main structure of the train is still the same unless they bought new trains. Branded the spines of the seats can be really heavy but still, two 16 seat trains is much heavier than one 32 seat train.
  10. Half of the rider doesn't really reduce the total weight of the train too much. At least not to the point where launching two trains costs less. I really hope this ride will be more popular and more reliable in the future. Some if my friends ride it and they said Cylon is very nice (human is more boring than Youngstar Coaster).
  11. ^ Launching a train to that height with LSM costs money, a lot of money. Two train operation costs much more money than one train operation.
  12. I think KimbaK trains is more likely than Premier trains. But given that Arkham Asylum had horrible capacity, Ed Hart might bought the KumbaK trains with modified OTSR's.
  13. Interesting modification. Now they have two incredibly low capacity coasters.
  14. This looks really fun, hope they can sell more of these to other parks.
  15. All 4D coasters in North America All B&M dive machines in China All Intamin drop towers in China All Vekoma motorbike in Asia All Intamin mine train in China All SkyLoop in North America All Schwarzkopf extended speed racer in US All Mack Supersplash in North America and China All coasters at Cedar Point (-2013) All traditional constructed wooden coaster with inversion in the world (-2013) All wing coaster in Asia
  16. Great TR, these parks look amazing.
  17. Vekoma proved their ability to break you down in the 80s and 90s. Thank god they are getting much better these days. Photos from RCDB.
  18. I'm 99% sure this is the track for BGW's S:UF clone. It must be really exciting to see coaster track on a free way
  19. That's a very cool concept, carnivals and some smaller park would be the perfect places. Maybe they make a bigger drop tower one with higher capacity it can be a very cool new attraction for major parks that doesn't have drop tower yet. As for how to win, let a kid jump on the target
  20. There are lots of Alpine / Mountain coasters here in the US. I mean if you crash your car into other people's on purpose in US, you would be sued to death.
