  1. I guess off-season is boring and people need things to talk about? RMC generally gets the most attention in the US enthusiast community.
  2. Outlaw Run Maverick Dodonpa Mega-Lite Top Thrill Dragster Legend Python in Bamboo Forest Fujiyama Kumba TRON: Lightcycle Power Run
  3. This park is getting better and better every time I go. It is incredible how much it has expanded since 2005 and its future is definitely promising!
  4. It was great meeting you guys in Shanghai! Great TR so far and have fun in HK and Japan!
  5. Can't wait to hear your opinions about the park!
  6. That revisit saved all of us from a much bigger shame now that the park will be gone. ^That log flume really surprised me with the helix. And I also think the river rapids is one of the best I've ridden. Space World is full of hidden gems.
  7. It's such a nice park and you can definitley see the effort they put in there to improve guest experiences. Very sad to say goodbye to one of the most funky places I've been to. Hope all the good rides will find their new homes.
  8. Look at all of you wanting that anaconda so badly.
  9. Honestly $24 is very very cheap for a week of this kind of service.
  10. Haven't been there but I think I would love Balder the most Shanghai Disney?
  11. Just realized there are 4 more missing. Fujiyama, Thunder Dolphin, Sleeping Bull and Surf Coaster (Yes I count it as a hyper!) I also included where two Gigas would be placed on this list. Updated list: Fujiyama (Feels like I need to clarify here, I love getting thrown around and experience something not perfectly engineered as long as it doesn't hurt too bad. Fujiyama is the most raw and powerful coaster I've been on and I loved it) Diamondback (Millennium Force) (Steel Dragon 2000) Magnum XL-200 Flash Hollywood Dream The Ride Backdrop Coaster Through the Clouds Hollywood Dream The Ride Surf Coaster Steel Eel Thunder Dolphin Titan Goliath SFMM Sleeping Bull Titan MAX
  12. That's insane! Glad nobody was hurt during this incident.
  13. Oh wow, you've ridden the Nanchang Intamin? And it was worse then backwards Hollywood Dream?! That's pretty disappointing, tbh. I would've expected it to be better than every other hyper on your list. As the tallest coaster in China, you don't get a sense of speed at all and the entire layout is very forceless. I want to believe that Wanda asked for something like that from Intamin or designed the entire layout and ask Intamin to build it out.
  14. When you actually forgot about Raging Bull, Giovanola Goliath and Titan on your list, you know they are bad. Updated list: Diamondback Magnum XL-200 Flash Hollywood Dream The Ride Backdrop Coaster Through the Clouds Hollywood Dream The Ride Steel Eel Titan Goliath SFMM Sleeping Bull Titan MAX
  15. This is definitely more towards the intense side. Some of those transitions are like inverted Taron fast!
  16. Rule: roast a coaster, a ride, a park, a person(as long as its semi-friendly roast) a company, a park group, a restaurant, whatever. As long as it's related to this industry. After you post your response, you need to nominate two ideas for the next poster. If the next poster choose to post his/her own content, there need to be two roasts about the same target. Tricks, choose something near perfect for the next poster. Be as offensive as possible but please still have common sense. I'll start: That Star Ripper POV belongs to the "how my week has been" category during finals week. It's a perfect way to relive the Tangshan earthquake when a bookshelve lands on your head. Nominate: Cedar Point and Test Track
  17. ^I would ask Intamin to put a LSM launch on my backyard Mega-Lite.
  18. Among the ones I've ridden (And I hate putting coasters into categories) Diamondback Magnum XL-200 Flash Hollywood Dream The Ride Backdrop Coaster Through the Clouds Hollywood Dream The Ride Steel Eel Titan MAX
  19. You definitely don't need to book in advance for Chimelong Paradise as it never gets too busy. But for Ocean Kingdom, sometimes the park reaches capacity depend on when you go. If it is not during the Chinese holidays, you should be fine. The best way to do it if you want to save some money and have a peace of mind, when you're in China, go to book the tickets at a travel agency as soon as you can. China's online purchase pretty much all require a local phone number. It is the most annoying thing. But if you can use WeChat pay and follow Chimelong's official account, there might be a way to book tickets in advance. I would also email Chimelong and ask for their help.
