Hey Henry, what's your favorite cloud type? Though my go-to is usually the standard stratocumulus, when I'm in a feisty mood I'll lean towards the non-traditional mammatus. F**k those stupid cirrus ones, though, with their wispy fake-cloud bulls**t. -

^ Weather.gov is my go-to source, as well. The Weather Channel (weather.com) has just become way to ridiculous and "click-bait-y", to the point where it seems that daily forecasts are way down the priority list. I couple this with the NOAA Weather Radar app, which IMO provides more functionality than the Weather Channel app. -
Nope, the park is definitely within the middle of f**king nowhere. The first three options on the lodging section of the park's website are pretty solid options, you can get to the park from each within 15 minutes easily. The other ones (Tinton Falls, Toms River) are way too far away to be viable options. Staying in either East Windsor or Freehold opens up your food options significantly. Staying If you choose to stay in Freehold at the Radisson, you've got Moore's Tavern, Escondidos, Longhorn Steakhouse, Olive Garden, more options down Route 9, and a bunch of restaurants at the Freehold Raceway Mall up the street, all within a five minute drive from the hotel. East Windsor gives you a trade-off - although it may an easier focal point for you travel-wise (it's literally exit 8 on the NJ Turnpike), you don't have as many restaurants to choose from, but there are still plenty good ones, including the Americana Diner on Route 130, which I highly recommend if you'd like a Jersey diner experience.

Diamondback surprised me, especially that first drop. I'm so used to Nitro that when I visited I didn't think it'd be so different, but the first drop kept taking me by surprise. Now if only they got rid of those stupid trim brakes... -

I'm not sure that's the best choice. While I agree that it looks cool to see inside the structure like that while under construction, I feel leaving it permanently open like that diminishes it a little. To me, it creates too much of a "peaking behind the curtain" experience, much more so than I tend to expect from the large Florida parks. It's admittedly a minor complaint, but I think it'd look better completely covered.
