I think it means they don't plan ever guild giant big ugly box blocking the views anymore. a ride or a coaster that's in the open air isn't going to ruin the aesthetic like that. -
one of very few i have ever purchased and it was worth every penny. My dads face is priceless. this was from probably 6 years ago.

I have no plans to visit that attraction next month. I am also excited because I finished paying for our trip today. Can't wait to get back there with the kids. -

I get that. I am curious as to how many of the regular Fast Lane they sell. -

I do not see any value in the regular Fast Lane the way they have it laid out. It doesn't really matter though because I have plus for my visit anyway. -

I am looking for some guidance on a decision thoughts and suggestions of any kind are welcome. When we booked our trip I booked it flying out of Indy (we live in Cincinnati) because it was much cheaper than CVG. I have regularly checked flights since and nothing has come close to matching the price. well now it has. for only a $30 difference we can fly from Cincinnati. My predicament is this the return flight does not leave Orlando until 9pm. I am not sure on adding a 4th park day to make up the time from checkout to takeoff since we are a family of 4 that adds a good chunk of change. We are using Disney Transportation to and from the airport. the latest I can get checkout is 12pm. Our kids are 4 and 2. What would you do in this situation? Are there any suggestions on things we could do to kill time if we don't go into one of the parks?

I personally would love to see them put one of those fancy super loops in. Think of the endless entertainment we would get from watching people cry about it. -

There are not many of those things to use so kids should be the one using them. plus it is much funnier watching a full grown adult eat it on the ice from lack of experience. I thought the $10 per person for a half hour was actually a great price. -

Winterfest Trip Report This will be from the perspective of someone with a family including a 4 and a 2 year old. I have been twice. Once of the first day of Winterfest with everyone and then exactly one week later on Friday December 1st with just my 4 year old son. Both days that we arrived my son lost his damn mind at everything. He is normally shy and reserved around new people he doesn't know but as soon as he caught a glimpse of the lights from the parking lot he was screaming with excitement. Then I kid you not his reaction to seeing the Santa on top of the entrance was that of Buddy the Elf when Santa shows up. On the second visit he went through the security and the lady asked him if he was excited all he could do was scream at the top of his lungs "SANTAAA!!!!!" Then I had to try and keep up with him getting into the park. Little dude was too hyped to deal with some peasants waiting in line to get in the park. The first visit on day one the park was an absolute mad house. It wasn't a big deal to us as the kids just loved looking at the lights and running around the park. We did not ride anything on this day but spent two hours in the park looking at everything and playing some games. The holiday themed games were a favorite of my son whom I let play one of the games you throw the wiffle into the colored cups. He left from that game just playing on $10 with 3 medium prizes and 2 small prizes a bit of a proud dad moment. On the second trip to the park with just my son and I it wasn't crowded at all and we were actually able to do some stuff. I sampled the Mac and Cheese bar while he screamed at me about wanting to Ice Skate right now dammit. The Buffalo Mac was excellent and honestly probably the only highlight of our meal plan this year. I think it is something they need to make permanent. After I finished eating I gave my boy his wish and took him over to ice skate. Ice skating is an up charge $10 per person if you have 4 or more or $15 for 3 or less. We just found others and grouped up. You have to take advantage of the system when you can. This is the first time my son has ever skated and I am talking on ice or roller blades. He did a lot better than I was expecting and thank goodness I had experience so I didn't have to worry about killing both of us. It was a bit crowded and the amount of people that suck at skating was a bit frustrating. Kids are understandable but healthy fit adults were using the balance things I would say only kids should use. They give you an hour and a half on the ice which is way longer than I expected them to give. I am sure we will do it again this year my son loved it so much. I was really proud that if he fell he just laughed it off and got back up. Can't be raising any soft kids I am way too much of a thrill seeker lol. We rode some of the kids ride that were open and the lines were manageable. We also rode the train which was alright and my son enjoyed it but the loading and unloading process seemed to take way too long. As someone with a family I absolutely love the event and I was not planning on getting passes next year but this may have changed my mind. It is incredibly fun to watch the kids faces of amazement with every corner we turned. If only most adults could get the same enjoyment out of little things like this. Lights! More Lights! That candy cane on the ground was really exciting to them lol. the champ Waiting for the train These things were awesome for the kids learning to skate. We had a ton of fun. -

Our three days of parks is the last few days in Jan. so i am hoping it is fairly light crowds. I planned it so we will be at parks Monday-Wednesday. This was the cheapest I found rooms to be so heres to hoping minimal crowds are involved lol. Only thing I am sad about is the Toy Story Land not being ready but I am not brave enough with a 4 and 2 year old to attempt during the summer. -

We watched the Holiday special they ran on tv to kick off the holiday season and my kids were begging to go. To me it sounds like a nightmare of over crowding. Is it worth dealing with the crowds for the Holiday events? -
Since we are staying in Art of Animation I was able to do my FP stuff this week. I feel bad after reading this that maybe I should go with Flight instead of the river journey but we have a 4 year old that may just be too short for flight and i know with river journey all of us can ride including the 2 year old. I checked a few hours after I could when FP first became available to me and the earliest i could get flight was 6:40 on Tuesday the 30th. We were able to get Journey at 10 or 11 am

Cedar Point has the sale again this year one ticket one fastlane plus any day that's not Saturday through Labor Day for $90. I jumped on it since we aren't getting Kings Island Platinum or Gold passes this year. Can't wait to get back to the park. -

They had a good place in Reds Hall of Fame grille and neutered it this year to compensate for the large crowds. It was our favorite place for the meal plan even with 1-2 waits you could put your name in and come back and it was full service. This year we went in there once and not again. Actually the food throughout the whole park suffered horribly this year and if we get passes next year we will not be getting the meal plan. -

Yeah, I'm cool with the Econo Lodge nextdoor to the Howard Johnson. It's basically right next to Breakers Express for like 1/8th of the price and we get Early Entry anyway. I could buy like 8 Rougabrews and Fastlane Plus plus the hotel and still come out ahead. This is where we always liked staying. Couldn't beat price and location. We stayed at Sandcastle Suites back in 2014 which was also our last visit to the park. We hated pretty much everything about the place. It was incredibly dirty outside and the pools were not maintained well all kinds of nasty stuff floating around. For the price that was paid that was a bit of a letdown. I am not one to write complaints but that is the only visit i ended up sending one. They offered a discounted future stay but that did me no good as we were not going to be making it back soon at that time. I wasn't looking for anything back I just wanted them to clean the place up. The beds sucked something horrible if i remember right too. Anyway I am definitely okay with them taking this place out. -
Seeing TBDM play Noctunal in full during the summer was an amazing experience. I made sure I was on the rail for it.
