1. Come on now, Dollywood can do a gigantic monster of a roller coaster themed to butterflies and happy frogs.
2. Awesome news! Always good to see worker pay rising.
3. This is a really important point, and Dollywood sets themselves apart by thinking this way. Most parks follow the "let's build something for the little kids too" model, whereas Dollywood integrates its areas so there is something for everyone wherever you are in the park. They don't mind putting Barnstormer between Mountain Slidewinder and a playground, or Lightning Rod next to the Rockin' Roadway and Smoky Mountain Rampage. Makes it really easy to split the group based on interest and still be right together to meet up again.
4. A lot of that area is waterpark now, but for purposes of a replacement coaster, the new Kentucky Flyer is kind of in the same spot.
5. Kings Island's amphitheatre holds only 10,000. Coney Island in Cincinnati does have the Riverbend Music Center that can handle 20,000.
6. End of July? No, not everything. All the new stuff since you were there last, sure. Also, they haven't announced Flash Pass rides yet, but it's virtually guaranteed MaxxForce will be Platinum only this year.
7. 8/10 Never gets stuck in my head, but if it's on a playlist or something I always enjoy it. New Panda Bear album is pretty good too. Giraffes? Giraffes!
8. Oh awesome! I've wanted to do one of those transatlantic cruises for a while now. So far it looks fantastic.
9. That's really interesting. I didn't realize just how far they go in their research and strategy. Obviously didn't work out for them, but that's really deep into his personal life.
10. Last ORC when the HGP made us LQS. When was the last time you agreed to do something and didn't follow through?
11. That can't be right. Everyone wants to ride Harley Quinn.
12. Okay, so we know two of the six 799-foot rides will be Top Thrill Dragster and Demon Drop. What do you think the other four will be?
13. https://amp.kansascity.com/news/local/article226632094.html?__twitter_impression=true
14. Yeah, I got a Google alert for that. I'm not a Padres fan, I'm just going to San Diego later this year and Google's all like "You like baseball, and you've looked up a lot of San Diego things recently. Wanna know the Padres signed Manny Machado?" Yeah, f*ck you Google. But congratulations Padres, great pickup.
15. Sounds promising. Disney's been busy rejuvenating everything, and if this in line with everything else, it'll be very worth the effort.
16. Gary Clark Jr. has a red guitar, three chords, and the truth. [youtu_be] [/youtu_be]
17. The experience is remarkably consistent at every single location. The food is hot & fresh deliciously greasy slop for a great price (the "All Star" breakfast is like a tables worth of food for like $7.99, yo), the service is always unbelievably fast and did you ever notice anytime you walk into a Waffle House everyone stops what they're doing and turns around to say "Welcome To Waffle House"? Also if you ask for a coffee to go they'll just give you a bunch of free coffee. What's not to like? Well, I'm glad you have had a good experience. We have about a dozen of them since we're south of the IHOP/Waffle House line, and I've found they vary widely in quality. There are a couple here that I will absolutely never go to again. There's one that's acceptable. I don't know though, I'd rather go to Denny's if it comes to that. I think I feel about Awful House like you feel about Sheetz.
18. Looks good! Digging the theming in the tunnel.
19. You're not being serious, are you? Haven't you watched world wide news on Feb 30th??? Ikr, I thought everyone knew That is fantastic. Well done.
20. Okay, so from that link it's not going to be an 800-foot coaster but it is going to be multiple cool things. You know what's cool? Big roller coasters. So they're definitely building 6 799-foot coasters.
21. Wildwood Grove looks nice already, and will get a lot better once they get the trees in.
