Whats The Weather Like Where You Live?

Sleeting right now. Forecast is for "wintry mix" which is snow, sleet, and freezing rain all at the same time. Joy. -

I hope this passes. The boardwalk is well cared for, but over time that understructure wears out. A lot of states are beginning to realize now after decades of adding new pavement on top of existing highways, that eventually the core crumbles and it has to be replaced entirely. Missouri's been doing that with some of our highways recently. If they do this right, it should last another hundred years. The plan they have sounds like they're doing it right. -

This is factually wrong. Why wouldn't you look this up before you posted? Chill dude, no need to be like that. But you're right, I did make an error, and I'll give it up to you for that. My bad. I'll admit when I'm wrong. Yeah man, I'ma be like what continent rivers are on. That's my hill to die on.

What song are you listening to?
ytterbiumanalyst replied to Mr.Six's topic in Random, Random, Random
So far the best albums of the year have been Watsky's "Complaint" and the Specials' "Encore." Seriously if you haven't heard either of these, drop what you're doing and go listen. Fantastic music from two seriously underappreciated artists. -

I always order both of those at my local sushi place. -
I have the feeling that Scandia knew about this for a couple of months. The rides were originally listed up for sale on Nov. 2, 2018, and doesn't appear that anything has sold yet. Since the drop tower, Tilt-a-whirl, and carousel have not been offered for sale, I am guessing that is all that they were planning to keep those few attractions. Ah, gotcha. Well, anybody looking for a coaster at under a million....

Prime example: B:TR Absolutely. We were at Magic Mountain last week and even though over the years we've probably been on the Great Adventure one almost 100 times and even though neither of us "needed the credit" there was no way in hell we were skipping it. If that ride wasn't a clone then enthusiasts would declare it one of the best rides in the park (even at Magic Mountain which is loaded with awesome coasters). I agree with both of you. Batman is one of the best rides in every Six Flags, especially if they turn on thr air conditioning in the sewer tunnel. Without AC, though, that part of the queue suuuuuucks.

Glad you had a good time! And I agree on the reasonable prices at Disney. The food, merch, etc. is all around prices you'd expect to pay outside the park. The tickets are high but not overpriced; they give you your money's worth. Big Thunder Mountain is a great coaster, and I love the themed queue and the way the train goes over it. Disneyland is maybe the one place I actually want to wait in the queue; so many things to see. I don't know why anyone complains about Maxpass; it's so cheap, so easy, and it doesn't affect anyone who doesn't use it. Disney did this one perfectly.
