Cancelling a Six Flags membership?
ytterbiumanalyst replied to JT325's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
A membership is basically the same price as a one day pass anyway, so you haven't lost anything. If next year you still want to cancel, do it online. I did that once. They offered me a lower rate, then when I said no again, they canceled. It was easy. And I went back a while later and got a new membership when finances were better. They make it easy on you, but no they absolutely will hold you to your word when you agreed not to cancel for 12 months. -

If it's that much, buy it now before they sell out. It's going to be a horrifically crowded day and you don't want to be caught without it. -
Cool, we'll see what ends up going there but I'm glad to see the announcement. With all the buildup of hotels recently they're expecting a huge rise in attendance, and a fourth park could definitely do that. Good move on putting more Potter stuff there, we all know that's what's moving tickets right now.

^ Isn't the point of a boardwalk so you can be next to the ocean and not get sand in your toes? Great photos, btw. -

^ Yeah, you'll need to go to the main gate. None of the other gates have any sort of services, just someone to scan tickets/passes and stamp for re-entry. I always recommend people park in the main parking lot and walk along the beach to the Magnum gate. It's really beautiful early in the morning. Not a super long walk, just get there early enough you don't have to rush. -

Well, modern announcements have two elements, surprise and fear. And ruthless efficiency. Three elements. And an almost fanatical devotion to the Pope. Amongst park announcements are such diverse elements as surprise, fear, ruthless efficiency....I'll start again. -

That's awesome. Glad they're taking care of it; it's the best of its kind and one of Morey's best rides. -
Of course Six Flags doesn't advertise as far out geographically as Holiday World. They've got 2 million people right there. You know how far out from the park HW has to go to get to the same population as St. Louis? Evansville is a pretty small city. When you have to convince every visitor that your place is worth a significant drive, you do things differently than when people can just pop in for an evening after work.
