How cool! I had no idea they used to have a paddleboat. But then I never visited until after it was removed. Sounds like great fun! -

I hope this isn't the same playlist that includes songs with such classy titles including "We want some p*ssy" or "Bi*ch better have my money." Am I searching Spotify incorrectly? No, that's not it. It's called #TEOTWAWKI. -

Kings Island is such a fun park. Love what they're doing with the run up to this new ride. Have fun tomorrow! -
Re-themeing a one year old ride for one thing. Okay.... so in your head there are Six Flags executives, who you will remember work for Six Flags, who are going to say "Aw man, we would re-theme this area into our super popular Screampunk District that has made us tons of money, but gee golly gosh darnit, we just put in that Supergirl ride based on that DC theming that also makes us tons of money. Welp, guess that plan's off them."

Wicked Twister should go to Valleyfair. It would fit nicely right next to Steel Venom. -
Good to see they're going to have a 40" minimum. Lost River was 36", and I was concerned this new one would be higher, like along the lines of Fury of the Nile's 46". While SDC does have a significant number of families with kids in the 36-39" range, I feel like this minimum height shows the park made a great effort to make the ride as accessible as possible.

For the record, there is nothing to indicate that CP is changing to a membership model. All they said was that existing auto-renewals will not auto-renew for 2020. This could be caused by something as simple as a deletion of a word in the terms of service. Thanks for the clarification. What I had read made it sound more certain than it apparently is.

Yes, Six Flags prices all their memberships differently depending on which park you buy it from. It's different from Cedar Fair, which (for now) prices all Platinum passes the same. CF is moving to a membership model like SF has, so that may change next year. The good news is your St. Louis Platinum membership will probably be cheaper than your Chicago Platinum membership.

Awesome man! Glad Flitzer got a fitting replacement. And those seagulls... -
I agree. It's so much more fun to keep going back over and over to a thread that makes me question the viability of humanity. Makes me feel good about moving from Western NY to KC, I guess... Yeah, people have complained about WoF not receiving a premier attraction since 2014... BUT...5 years as opposed to a Eurofighter and a Skyscreamer in two years & people still endlessly complain in this thread about everything that the park does - regardless of ownership? I don't get it. I think it's that shitty Western NY weather eating their brains...GET OUT NOW, PEOPLE!!! LOL Yeah, some people complain about anything. I'm not sure why. Much more fun to accept it, set expectations accordingly, and go enjoy yourself.
