  1. Yeah, I've been more excited about this than anything since Outlaw Run. Very excited to see the photos everyone takes from the media event. Thanks to everyone who's going!
  2. Enjoy your Riddler themed scrambler. The house always wins.
  3. I can't imagine a trip to USH that doesn't include the backlot tour. It's the whole reason for going as far as I'm concerned. Let's face it, they're not floating the idea of having a cheaper ticket if you don't go on the backlot tour. So imagine traveling thousands of miles and shelling out over $100 per ticket--and then being asked to pay more for the thing that is the entire point of why you came.... This is virtually guaranteed to create long lines at Guest Services to handle complaints.
  4. Last B&M that SF built anywhere was X-Flight, right? I agree that it's not a reasonable expectation these days.
  5. Awesome! I'm gonna hijack this with my own photos since there's no telling when I would get around to it otherwise. This summer has been crazy busy and I haven't even gotten time to get my Sea World TR from May up yet. Grand Carnivale...shall we say, needs some work. The food was good by CF standards but nothing mind blowing--all except for the samosas, which were probably the worst I've ever had. I thought the cannoli was delightful, but otherwise, not a reason to come to the park if you weren't already planning to go like we were. That, combined with the just overall unpreparedness, just left me wanting more, and that after already having pretty low expectations. Still, it was a fun weekend getaway for me, and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Kansas City is a fun town, and if you like good barbecue like I do, it's incredible. Awful samosas. Okay hame and cheese crèpe, with cheap deli ham. I have no words. Pretty decent brat from the German tent. Pork buns from the China tent were pretty good too...once they were ready 2 hours after the event started. Desserts were the highlight. Well done.
  6. ^ What specifically about SuperGirl prevents them from making this a ScreamPunk district?
  7. Obviously that means it's 3 feet tall, has 23 launches and has 86 inversions.
  8. I've just been on Valravn, but it's super fun. I'm all for more of these being built.
  9. Oh man, I hope so. That was the first Boomerang I ever rode, and it was terrible. That was back in college, years before I found TPR. It and Rattler were the only two rides there I didn't like. They fixed the one; hopefully they can replace the other.
  10. No problem. You've got plenty of time; St. Louis is pretty cheap. Have fun!
  11. Sounds like a great plan. You can do everything at City Museum once in a couple hours, but the more time you have, the more you'll enjoy it. The fun expands to fill the container of time. The airport is pretty close to downtown, as far as major airports go. On a Sunday night, probably 30 minutes to get there. I'd recommend staying at City Museum until about 3 hours before your departure time. That should give you enough time to drop off the rental car and get through security.
  12. Oh man this town looks so cool! Amazing architecture, castles and cathedrals and all.
  13. I count each seat, so 16 water coasters.
  14. Forgetting electronics can be really freeing. I sometimes forget every one of us used to leave the house on a daily basis with no electronics at all. Glad you had a good time, and looking forward to seeing Ghent. It's a city I don't know that much about.
  15. Nor have I. They've been silent on this one except for what's on the teaser site and the fence. Next week should be exciting.
  16. ^ Agreed. Every time I walk by Boomerang.
  17. I'm ok with Diamond Head going. It's fun but nothing spectacular, and it's really dated. Never went to Schlitterbahn, but a mat slide would be great for Oceans of Fun, especially in that location.
  18. I'm going to say it's another mini golf course and another Coasters Drive In.
  19. Awesome! That's one fantastic trip already! Okay, they win Coolest Couple Name Award Ever for All Time.
  20. The GCI part of Timber Wolf is the good part. It's reeeeally obvious where the Dinn part starts. Ouch. They need to get GCI out to finish the job ASAP.
