  1. That is later than I would like to be out. It isn't road conditions holding me back, it is not wanting to be out driving late (midnight is late).
  2. Netflix Reply or reply all?
  3. Still Millennium Force, even though on my last trip Phoenix, El Toro, and Skyrush all made a valiant effort to unseat it.
  4. Sometimes I click on this thread and immediately regret it. Today there are cat pictures. Thank you.
  5. I'm sorry, but that's just ridiculous. Six Flags closes at 9 each day during HITP, and I-44 is a very easy road. You can be home by midnight. If you want to go, go. If you don't, don't. But the schedule and road conditions are not stopping you.
  6. ^ There's a bit of a difference, though, in that St. Louis opens a couple weeks before Great America. A lot of those people probably wouldn't go for merely $20 off, but they will go for $20 off and going to a theme park 2 weeks earlier.
  7. Unfortunately, Mitch Hawker hasn't done one in a few years.
  8. Hmm, I don't know about that. I feel like the gravitation throughout the park is generally pretty close to Earth's already.
  9. Boston Children's Museum looks pretty great. We've been to a number of children's museums, so some of the exhibits are somewhat familiar. Oklahoma City has a roller coaster marble thing like that, and we had so much fun with it. Keep this up! Love seeing cool places like these that are very far from me.
  10. Nintendo Scotland or Romania?
  11. Hangtime. I want to go back to Knott's. Pencil or pen?
  12. 46/126, and my list now includes the incredible Phoenix and El Toro!
  13. Now 30/101 after my PA/NJ trip. Nitro was excellent.
  14. I believe that ride was just introduced at this year's IAAPA, so Knoebels and that other park bought the first ones. Yeah, it was disappointing for me also to see it closed, but better to be safe. Great report BTW; Knoebels is such a special place. Glad you got to experience Fascination and other non-ride attractions. The more time you spend there, the more you love it.
  15. I'll make time for a good theme park show. I've seen a few really great ones, which I don't feel like ranking, so they're alphabetical by park. World of Color (DCA) My People (Dollywood) Dive (Holiday World) Cirque Imagine (Kings Island) A Christmas Carol (SDC) It's a Wonderful Life (SDC) Waterworld (USH) I'm sure there are a lot more I would put on this list if I remembered them. But maybe if I don't remember them, they weren't good enough to make the list.
  16. Buy. I hate selling. I've done it, I was good at it, but I hated it. Universal or Sea World?
  17. Talon at Dorney Park a couple weeks ago.
  18. 39 of the "best" roller coasters, including these notable "best" coasters: The Boss Mean Streak Scream! Steel Force Superman: Escape from Krypton Viper (SFMM) Whizzer I mean, really.
  19. Wow Air going to St. Louis is seriously exciting. That could really make a transatlantic affordable for us. The Slate article was an interesting read, but I wouldn't worry too much about Dixie Stampede going away any time soon.
  20. Ha, I figured that would be a bit controversial. Wawa's food is way better, to be sure. I just don't really like feeling like an unpaid employee. I liked that Sheetz actually did everything and I just picked it up. The sandwich itself was a bit disappointing. I guess it's just a matter of whether service or quality product matters more. In the end I'd pick the better tasting food, so Wawa wins. Hope that helps muddle things worse than before.
  21. We're going to White Water for the last time this year over Labor Day Weekend, then it'll just be Silver Dollar City through the end of the year.
  22. No, they didn't staple on that ride. It was an amazing ride, just flying with lots of airtime.
