I do like that since all the rumors of CGA closing are gone they are really stepping up the park. It was definitely a neglected park in the past, but with Railblazer and all their great events, they're really starting to step it up. I'm excited to see what they do with the park in the near future.
The Alamo Drafthouse in Austin is one of the biggest things I miss about living there. There food was so good, and they always had something to match the movie. When they played Snakes on a Plane, they had a snake appetizer, and it was pretty good!
I'm just glad he caught it before they opened the ride. Knott's should give him a lifetime pass with free food for saving what would have been a park closing disaster!
Yeah, last year was amazing. In Northern California, we had so many places open for so much longer. This year is off to a slow start, only about 18" at our highest elevation resort, Mt. Rose, and about 3/4 of the mountain is open. Could be worse, but I'm hoping for some big storms!
