  1. That store looks really good. I am absolutely loving all the changes to that area.
  2. That would be a good idea. It is so incredibly overpriced, even by Disney standards. They have a lot of options when adding a new hotel, or some towers. I'd love to see a hotel like Mira Costa at Disney Sea. The hotel was amazing, and it looks great in the park as well.
  3. Yeah, it'll be no loss if Boomerang is closed. I'm looking forward to HITP this year. It'll be the first time I've been in a long time!
  4. That's a smart move on their part. They were really lacking something during the day for those who don't like the scary part of Halloween.
  5. Yeah, they did a great job with the ride. I think they did a really good job this year with all of the Halloween offerings.
  6. We did only a few hours in the park one day and it was still worth it for us to get the MaxPass. One of the best parts is you can get your Fast Pass immediately after you scan into the park first thing in the morning. We would already have our Cars fast pass while we were waiting for the rope drop! As for the ILoveRides report, awesome report! They really do a great job for Halloween. I also love how much Disneyland has stepped up their food offerings. They really know how to squeeze every single dollar from me!
  7. If only the Kisses fountain was chocolate instead of water.
  8. Any water ride additions to a park in Orlando are always a smart move! Looks like a fun ride.
  9. Ok, that looks amazing!!! You can't go wrong with a volcano and dinosaurs as your theming!
  10. Great updates! I love how unique and wacky Japanese parks are. It has been way too long since I've been there.
  11. It looks like a great addition! Maleficent and Mickey look really good!
  12. I'm not sure about X2, but if you also purchase the Season Flash Pass, you won't get the 2 Skip the Line Passes (for the park you got the Season Flash Pass for). Not sure if it applies to you, but I thought I'd mention it just in case.
  13. I can't wait!! Only a few more days! This year it'll be myself, my wife, my two kids, and my niece. We're looking forward to another incredible TPR event and catching up with some old friends!
  14. How about a trade. Allow alcohol, get rid of Disneyland "Gang" social clubs.
  15. This looks to be a great addition to the park! It's a great ride, and it fits perfect in that area.
  16. Great report! I've always loved the Behind the Seeds tour. Do they still sell the plant clippings that you can grow?
  17. Hotel and tickets are booked! I'm so excited to go back after missing it last year!
  18. After a couple of years of not being able to make it, this is the year I'm able to again! I'll be making it to both events!
  19. That's amazing! What a great looking event, and it's absolutely worth the cost for me. I definitely want to do this the next time I'm there.
  20. I'm glad they re-themed it. It was a great ride, and I liked the music, but I like the direction the park is going with more Disney on everything. That's why I go to Disney. I can go to Santa Cruz, CGA, and SFDK for fun rides, but at Disney I like the themed rides.
  21. V2, Voodoo, Hammerhead, were the ones I remember off the top of my head, and a few of the kids rides in Tava's Jungle Land. Nothing really that major, but my son was annoyed that his favorite Jumping Frog ride was closed.
  22. We went to the park last Friday and we had a good day overall! It was super hot, but the crowds were pretty light for a Friday. Joker had some issues, and quite a few rides were closed. That was kind of annoying, especially since it was 4th of July weekend, but oh well. Jewy joined us for the morning, and I had my nephews with me as well. We had a flash pass for two people, and it worked out well between all of us and it not being too busy. I feel kind of bad that my newborn daughters first ever amusement park was Six Flags, I hope she doesn't hold it against me. Jacob has finally hit 42", so he was able to hit a few more rides, but more importantly, the Sky Coaster! He's been wanting to do it for a bit and he loved it! He is not scared of heights at all, so I ended up being a lot more scared on it than he was. I still can't believe how ridiculously priced the food is. It is more expensive than Disneyland and some baseball stadiums, and the quality is much much lower. Oh well, that's Six Flags! The operations were ok. In general, the employees that work in the kids areas are excellent at SFDK. I've always been extremely impressed at how fun, nice, and kind they are in the kids areas. It's generally the opposite operations on the big rides. Pretty slow, just going through the motions. Anyways, SFDK still seems like one of the better run SF parks I've been to. Jacob is really excited for his first Sky Coaster! As we were leaving, the swings were stuck in the air with people on it. Sucks to be them! You can tell how happy we was at how long the cycle times were. He's still small enough to like the kids ride. We had a buy one get one free offer so we wanted to go again! Jamie's excited for her fist visit to a theme park! My nephews on the carnival ride. They enjoyed Medusa as always. He loved it! All ready to go. Next up was the fastest ride in the park! (I'm not kidding!) Jewy and Amy enjoyed The Joker while the girls behind them enjoyed the hair time! Sign. Hey, it's the Ray's at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom! He is finally tall enough for Cobra. Why this ride has a 42" in requirement is beyond me. Just some dummies waiting to ride! Harley Quinn still hasn't opened yet.
