I'm all for faster internet on cruises. A better price , and faster pricing, can end up being great advertising for the ships. More people will be posting their fun pictures of their vacations.

I'm really amazed at how much we've raised, especially given that we started earlier. It's been pretty slow for me as well, but I only post about it once a week. I know last year, the closer it got to the event the more people were donating. I'm waiting to do my match 'offer' until it gets a little closer.

Boomerang does look much better, but like everyone else said, it's still a Boomerang. Too bad about the Knott's name being removed. It's just a stupid label that really doesn't change anything, but it was a nice theme park reference to see when I went to Safeway.

I can't believe it's been five years already! The park is looking good though. One of these days I'll have to visit during the warmer months so I can go.

Yeah, for 11 million it wasn't terribly bad, but that ending really was horrible. Saw a few movies recently. Identity Thief - Some funny parts, but generally didn't like it. I don't like the chick in it, and Jason Bateman plays the exact same character as always. Warm Bodies - thought it was a really good movie. A unique take on the zombie movie. Now I need to read the book. A Good Day To Die Hard - It was ok. Too similar to all the others. Lots of good action scenes, but I thought the story was a little bland.

Sounds like a fun promotion. I'd vote for you Chuck!

I would much rather have something, than nothing. I'm always for more theming and decorations.

Thanks for the update! Lot of great stuff going on at that park. I'm so glad the stadium issues are all done and they are pouring money back into the park.

I love the rides and new technology, but the Simpsons are definitely something I appreciate more than Harry Potter (and I do like the books and movies). I do have to say, though, the SImpsons ride gets me pretty sick.

I'm wondering if there will be a St. Patrick's Day or Easter update next. I'm actually hoping for a break for a while since I need to finish some areas in my town. However, I finally finished my Marriage escalator to hell (not reflective of mine and Amy's marriage . )

There is definitely not enough bacon on that. Heading out to get the stuff for the scotch eggs, and now the avocado thing as well. I'll post how they are!

I can't believe I haven't heard of Scotch Eggs or HP sauce! I'm definitely going to be making these eggs soon, and buying some HP sauce.

I had so much fun marathoning Steel Eel on the Texas trip in 2009! It's a perfect ride to marathon. The supports are a bit different, but Great Bear definitely is worse.

That does seem like it will be a bigger ride than I thought. Of course it's just a drawing, but i'm excited! They do a great job with theming, and I love their dark rides so i'm happy!

I've always loved roller coasters, and dreamed of working at amusement parks. I worked for a water from when I turned 16, to about 22. I also worked at WDW and that was my dream job. However, I didn't really become a full blown enthusiast until about 2005, when I joined TPR!
