Saw a few movies this past week. Dark Skies - I was surprised, and really enjoyed it. It's Paranormal Activity/Amityville Horror with aliens. It was a pretty good mix of scary house and scary aliens. Jack The Giant Slayer - Pretty corny, but not bad. I didn't like Davy Jones (from Pirates) as one of the voices. I couldn't help but constantly think of Pirates while watching it. I think they did a good job adapting the fairytale to an action movie. It could have been a lot worse! Oz, The Great and Powerful - I liked it and thought it was a fun movie, but not amazing. I liked Mila Kunis before her 'transformation,' but she was terrible afterwards. I do think the acting could have been better, but it wasn't too bad. I liked the scenery (I liked Alice), and thought they did a good job with the story.

I really don't understand why we still have it.

Hey, at least EA is consistent! I really can't believe how terrible that company is in regards to online play. The same stuff happens every time the Simpson's game is updated. If they can't even get that game to work online consistently, what made them think that they could get a massively involved game like Sim City to work. The problems with EA are always the same, and yet they never seem to learn. Looks like they seriously need some new leadership that will tackle their server issues.

After reading what Elissa wrote, I decided to get the Wishing Well. I thought after a while the Leprechaun would stop giving you money and XP but I ended up stopping before that happened! Granted, you only get either $8 or 2 xp every time you tap him, but it's definitely worth a few minutes of tapping! He slows down about every 4 seconds. While you only get XP or $ every time, it's the equivalent of the brown house, but instead of every 5 minutes, it's every 4 seconds. I still have about $2.6 million until I can get the magnifying glass. I was thinking of just selling my skyscraper, but I'd only get $500,000 so looks like it'll be a while!

I did go out and try one tonight! I really liked them, but thought they needed more of the cool ranch seasoning. I like cool ranch chips more than the nacho flavored chips, but the nacho taco shells have tons more seasoning than the Cool Ranch ones.

From everything I've read online, it's totally random and has nothing to do with the posted odds. I never do it.

It took me forever to get him. There was another update in the iTunes Store tonight, but it had the same description as last time. Didn't see anything new, and neither did other people online. I guess Thursdays seem to be their release days, so maybe something will kick in tomorrow.

Good to hear. Now I know where to go for dinner tonight!

Here are the Scotch Eggs, and the Avocado thing, I made this past weekend. Scotch Eggs - These ended up being really good. Nothing amazing, but definitely a cool take on breakfast food. I baked them, but most recipes call for them being fried. I used basic Jimmy Dean sausage, and for the breadcrumbs, I used some italian breadcrumbs. In the future, I would double batter the 'eggs' and use Panko breadcrumbs. There was too little coating by using standard breadcrumbs. I think the italian flavoring helped. If I had used regular breadcrumbs, it would have been bland. Of course, it is British! Avocado Eggs - They look great, but didn't taste so great, and I absolutely love avocado. I would much rather just cook an egg and slice a ton of fresh avocado on top. I'm pretty sure they used quail eggs for their avocados. Unless you have access to a massive South American style avocado, they will be way too small for a normal egg. I cleaned out over half the avocado for one, and it barely fit just the yolk. I ended up scrambling my eggs so I could get both the yolk and whites in each avocado. Eggs getting ready to boil Rolled them in flour. Wrapped in Jimmy Dean sausage. Dipped in an egg wash, coated with breadcrumbs, then put them in the oven. (Don't know why it's upside down) An they're done! Avocados, two eggs were whole, two were scrambled, bacon, and seasonings. The whole egg one could mainly fit just the yolk. Not bad, but I'll just make an omelette next time and put all the avocado on top.

Never seen a ride with so much padding, and yet it was one of the most painful rides ever! Glad it's gone! -

I just got their newsletter and it was so depressing because I probably won't be able to go this year. Can't wait to see all the reports though! -

Are there any coasters that have been successful with continuous loading? I've only seen a few, and they didn't seem to work that well. Rip Ride Rockit has been terrible at loading every time I have ridden it. -
This game actually got me to start recording the Simpsons episodes again. The Glamorous Grandpa episode was hilarious. I'm slowly starting to finish off some neglected areas. I built a wrestling ring, finished my marriage escalator of death, and now am working on my town square and 'wilderness' area.

That's a great looking sign! I think it would be great if a few people got their arms ripped off. If would definitely go along with the theming. -
I got it playing on both an iPhone 4s and an iPad 2. I've rolled over a few times before with no problems. It seemed like I did the same exact thing. It rolled over and I sent everyone on tasks, when I tried to get back in to collect their tasks (I think it was 1 hour tasks), I couldn't log back in.

Most Ghetto Park You Have Visited

Pixieland in Concord, CA, the Tahoe park, and Mt. Olympus. Mt. Olympus wasn't physically ghetto, but the people, the rides, and the operations definitely put it near the top. -
Hmmmm......YES! Do you like Butter Popcorn Jelly Belly's?

I would mainly get the food from the Flower and Garden Festival booths. As for counter service restaurants, I like China (dumplings), Japan (everything), France (Bakery), Land Pavilion, and Morocco (Baklava). For sit down restaurants, Italy, Japan, and Morocco are my favorite. For unique, Coral Reef has an entire wall that is an aquarium. I really like the food, but most people think it's just ok. Germany's restaurant has an Oktoberfest style atmosphere that is pretty popular. The new French restaurant is supposed to be really good as well.
