LMAO, you don't know how to take screenshots without a camera? Quite simple really... 1. Go to the floppy disk, click on "Screenshot". 2. You'll see a notice saying "Saved to disk as SCR#.bmp" 3. Quit the game, head to Program Files>Infogrames Interactive>Roller Coaster Tycoon 2, the screnshots should be there. 4. Click on the file and convert them to JPG's on MSPaint. 5. In MSPaint, go to File>Save As 6. Scroll down the list of formats, choos .JPG 7. Voila, a RCT2 screen without the hassle of dragging out your camera... -
^Then again, its EA. Usually, they rush ports and such. From what I have heard, Criterion didn't develop this version. Maybe with a little more time, they could have worked out the kinks with the collision specs and polished the graphics up a little bit... Oh well, EA has harsh deadlines anyways. Also, (sorry this seems fanboyish) they killed SEGA because they wouldn't support the Dreamcast...

Circuit City is holding a clearance sale on a LOT of games. Yes, select games are only $8.96! Helluva deal, you betcha. I picked up three new games for the DS today (woulda picked up more if Circuit City could have organised their shelves better ). Anyways, here are my reviews... Burnout Legends (Nintendo DS version) After hearing good things about the PSP version, I expected the DS version to be good, with less features. Needless to say, this was watered down enough to fill the seven seas. Of course, the DS doesn't have the graphical horsepower of the PSP. Then, the DS doesn't have the best sound card in the world. Well, I only played this game for a few minutes and it put me off racing games for a while. The graphics, good lord, the cars are just fugly, and the collision specs are awful. And were the crashes eye candy like we expect from a Burnout game? Nope, not on this version. The soundtrack isn't the mix of Punk and Techno like in the PSP version, instead its some generic midi tunes. Oh well, thank god I picked this up for $9 instead of its marked price of $39.99. Although, at least it will keep me preoccupied... RATING: 3/10 Pac-N-Roll As if Pac-Man hasn't done a good game on the DS lately. Pac-N-Roll relies on the touch screen heavily for its controls (much like Kirby: Canvas Curse). The world is a 3D isometric world (much like Sonic 3D Blast, but a hell of a lot better). The game has decent sized levels and great controls. Like in most 3D games, the camera can be a pain. This game is a heck of a lot of fun and addicting. I should have also bought Pac-Pix, but eh... The music, still midi tunes, but a lot more tolerable... RATING: 9/10 Dr. Mario/Puzzle League The GBA these days has little releases coming that would wow people. But, good deals come now, and there are 2-games-in-1 cartridges coming out. Nintendo released this one last year that features two of their puzzle games. Dr. Mario was Miyamoto's take on the puzzle game genre inspired by Tetris. In this game, you are fighting three viruses (Red, Blue, and Yellow). In order to kill off these viruses, you have to cure them using pills of their color. An easily addicting and great puzzle game. Puzzle League is basically Pokemon Puzzle League, minus the Pokemon. I guess when Nintendo brought this game over to America in 2000, they had to slap the name "Pokemon" on it to sell a million of them. Well, this version, thankfully, doesn't have trainers and Pikachus all over it. Its a puzzle game that is similar to Bejeweled. Line up three or more shapes to clear them. A very basic puzzle game really. I enjoyed both games on the cartridge and if you like puzzlers, pick this one up, as its a good deal as well! RATING: 8.5/10

Futurama returning to TV with new episodes on Comedy Central About darn time, and hopefully it won't follow Family Guy's route. Most of the new Family Guys sucked anyways. Here's to hoping this doesn't jump the shark...

Alright... Whoever said that having Aspie Syndrome is the equivalent of being a confused retard, should go f*** themselves... Because, I have it, and generally "Aspies" are smarter. You could have used "Down Syndrome" instead... -
Alright, I'm going to SFEG in a few weeks. This trip will be titled "Homer gets over his Vekoma and Volare Virginities" or "VaVV" for short. Sadly, it will be a "sad and pathetic" trip, not keen on meeting other members. I will be by myself though since other members of my family aren't into thrill rides. Another question comes up though. Is there a way to bypass the parking fee if you are just going to drop off a guest? And likely, I'll go on a monday or tuesday, is the park definitely going to be dead then so I could credit whore the place and finally get some "rough coaster" credits under me belt?

A somewhat PTR: Elitch Gardens
Homer replied to Twister II's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^Billy, they've given Elitch Gardens some unique rides in recent years (Flying Coaster in '02, Half Pipe in '04), the reason why we never hear much of it is because of; A. Its location, further away from other major parks Enthusiasts would hit up on a trip. B. Elitch Gardens is cramped in Downtown Denver. Anyways, Twister II, are those the typical weekend crowds. If so, I may be heading to SFEG sometime between July 8-11. Any crowds on weekdays? -
In that case, I'll try to sneeze more at work?

Wow, who knew Elissa could fit a footlong? Another awesome update. -
The Avengers... That movie is not as bad as Batman and Robin. Although its still bad. Layers of movie hell... 1st Level: Avengers 2nd Level: Batman and Robin 3rd Level: Manos: The Hands of Fate.

^Sonic Rush - Classic Sonic... Wario Ware Touched! - Eccentric and makes good use of the features. Kirby Canvas Curse - Best use of the touch screen ever.

"Car-rab-buhs" is the way you pronounce it. The chicken there is really good and fills you up fast.

In the yearly tradition (June 1st-November 1st) of Flor... err, Gulf Coast is screwed threads, you know what this means? Its hurricane season again. Hoping this year wouldn't screw up any other cities like New Orleans and Katrina, its only been 10 days and we now have our first storm. NOAA's official site (National Hurricane Center) So now on to the first storm of the season, Tropical Storm Alberto. Spotted yesterday as a depression in the Gulf, today it has intensified to a tropical storm. Its unlikely this storm would furthen into hurricane territory (thank god). Projected paths show the storm would head into the "Big Bend" area of Florida, Tampa Bay, or Panama City. Wouldn't be too worried, but don't forget to always be prepared, especially after the past two seasons.
