If you want to reassure your family these people are not weirdos, during the trip, just call them every few hours or so to tell them you're fine and that these people are nice and yadda yadda. A few months ago, I had an entertaining dinner with Robb, Elissa, and Colin (colincoon) at Carrabba's. My parents felt kind of weirded out, but in the middle of dinner, I excused myself and called my parents to tell them "These folks are alright, etc." Over time, your parents trust towards coaster enthusiasts may change. Just keep reassuring them that you are safe.

I apologize for my above post. Awesome TR, SFStL seems like the black sheep of the original SF parks, but it still looks like one of the most beautiful parks in the chain. Great theming too! Actually, that Evolution was from SFGAdv. It was moved to SFStL in 2003.

Story Land is a nice little park with a few nicely themed attractions. I hope Kennywood pumps some interesting new attractions into this park.
