They should build one of these in Florida, as it would be both a unique experience and give Florida a bigger highest point than that hill in the Panhandle thats only 324 feet high... -
They better rerun this tonight... Oh wait, if you missed it because of America's public education system, its on again at 8:30. Can't wait, Stephen Colbert is freaking hilarious.

TV is saturated with them nowadays, and it seems that fake ones on the interweb are the best. So, post your most hated commercials here. Here is a local commercial about Kissimmee/St. Cloud that ticks me off. If you live in Florida, oftentime you will get a Kissimmee/St. Cloud ad. The latest one involves some fat little kid that has a little raspy voice going; "You can (insert activity here) you want" "You could (insert activity here) you want" And he goes on and on for 30 seconds, by the time the ad ends, I want to shoot my TV because the little kid said "all you want" about a zillion times in an annoying voice in a 30 second duration. And reminds me to stay out of the hotel/tourist trap dominated area of US 192.

^Only you DK, only you... Anyways, I would be in Ferris Buellers Day Off, everybody is so lax except for the principal... Maybe I should move to Chicago.

Way back in early 2004, Ohiocoasterman opened up a small forum called Track Side Talk and a small little site called Track Side! It thrived for a little while, with 50 members and 2000 posts, it was a decent job for a small little forum such as this. Then one day, in August of that year, a hack attack came to the site, and all of the members accounts were purged. The forum basically got a clean slate, and then the site was gone in a mere wink of an eye. The other day, last Thursday to be exact. I was sick and bored, I decided to head back to the old forum and it was left untouched. I tinkered around with a few things, and now I decided to advertise this site once again. Yes, I know this post may seem a bit spammish, but feel free to register and post if you want. http://s3.invisionfree.com/Track_Side_Talk/index.php? -Homer, assistant webmaster...

A better subtopic name would have to be; "Better homes than yours!" ... Anyways, some of those houses are nice, but the housing market these days is insane. -

http://www.sptimes.com/2005/10/15/Tampabay/Coaster_riders_get_re.shtml The second to last paragraph is timeless... OH TEH HORROR OF A COASTER BEING STUCK ON A LIFT! I'd be horrified if it stalled out on the Immelman, but I doubt that would ever happen.

I went over to the local arcade, got 500 tickets to save up for something, and played some Time Crisis II.

Gee, this looks like Canada's version of Cypress Gardens mixed with some ghetto Bedrock theming, only with less white trash and 100% more Canadians.

Maybe Robb heard a rumor on a coaster forum that your legs will fly off if you ride an S&S Tower in that position.

^^I didn't know English teachers posted at Theme Park Review . Anyways, nice trip, and Erik, exactly my thought. Then again, we DO have the bigger castle. -
Thanks, the double decker carousel I saw on that page looked exactly like the one I saw up in Tampa.

I'm pretty sure most people that live in the US live near a mall owned by the "Six Flags of Malls" Westfield. Anyways, whenever Westfield buys a mall, they (in true SF fashion) slap their name on the mall and give it a multi-million dollar overhaul. The past week, my local mall announced an overhaul of the area and announced the addition of a "Vinetian Carousel". Of course, I've been to another Westfield in Tampa, and they got a Carousel added a few months ago. It was a Double Decker carousel. Who makes these Carousels? I think Chance makes them, can anybody clarify?

I have been scavenging the net for theme park fonts to download onto my comp. I've been looking all over for the Six Flags font, but I have found two nostalgic fonts (Yes, they are free downloads); 1. Busch Gardenz/Big Bad Wolf- Font using lettering of the Old BG logo. found at: http://www.sharkshock.com/fonts/temporarypreviewfile.html 2. Anastasia- Font using lettering of Universal Studios logo. found at: http://eknp.com/php/fd.php?f=anastasia
