Nice report, just wondering, are you and your friend about the same weight? Me and my dad are close and Comet Express (same model) didn't spin much, but when my dad was alone, it spun like crazy!

IAAPA 2012 - Ask Ride Companies a Question!
3Mutts replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^ We already have another, Atlantis Adventure a Lotte World a has a Maverick like lift but I also do wonder if more are coming but the two. Another Intamin question: as you and I know Mack has come out with a new mega coaster design that ranks up with yours, what are you guys going to do to make sure this company doesn't take your title and become the reliable Intamin. -

Intamin: We heard later this season that Skyrush is down for retrofitting of the restraints and slowing of the lift to prevent axle fractures on the trains, What changes are you guys doing to the ride and how would they affect the experience compared to this season (are we going to see a I305 like situation here). -

B&M: With your recent invention of the Wingover Drop found on your wing riders, do you guys think we will see more inversions off the first drops of your coasters (like Drachen Fires old Warparound Corkscrew). -

RMC: What makes your new wooden coaster trains different from PTCs, GCIs, and The Gravity Groups? -
Coolest Ride Vehicles

I like the look of the trains that will be on Outlaw Run at Silverdollar City. I hate those Intamin Standup trains with a passion. -
Favorite Defunct Roller Coaster/Ride

I miss Wildcat at CP because it was a fun little ride and I'm glad that High Speed Thrill Coaster at Knoebels is gone! -
Worst "Customer Service" Park

Nothing beats Fuji Q Highland in terms of terrible customer service although La Ronde is probably a close second. -
How Old Are You & What Was Your 1st Coaster?
3Mutts replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
My first coaster was when I was 5, the first real coaster was either Ride of Steel at Derien Lake or The Comet at The Great Escape at 6 or 7. -
^ Agreed. In fact I thought that YOLOcoaster would have been SFMMs and Premiers version of Projekt Helix at Liseberg (Airtime and Inversions [A concept that SFMM doesn't get]). But instead they went if a gimmicky "triple" launch coaster with a big a$$ loop with a top hat. I think we won't see a airtime machine at SFMM for ALONG time (I'm hoping Iron Horse Collossus will be it as they can't just fill that ride with inversions and no hills)l

Every coaster at Hokkaido Greenland is just odd. Their Senyo Arrow Lopping coaster knock off try's so hard to be an Arrow but fails in the fact that the whole ride looks like it was designed in RCT3. GO-ON is just has an odd name and also looks like it was designed in RCT3 by a 8 year old GP. And finally Torokko Coaster doesn't do much and is the only coaster I know of that uses conveyor belt as a lift hill and brake system.

2012-- What was your highlight?
3Mutts replied to Chroniq's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I have three highlights and they are: Riding Skyrush 10 times in one day! Riding the Phoenix at Knoebles in the dark, in the 3rd seat twice without getting off (last ride of the day). Getting to go to South Korea to ride my new favorite wooden coaster T Express! And riding the only Aquatrax in the world. -
Hurricane Sandy vs. Roller Coasters
3Mutts replied to UrbanLegend's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
All the coasters at Funtown pier (Dragon Wagon, Funtown Family Coaster, Looping Coaster, Mighty Mouse), and Star Jet at Casino Pier. Idk the sixth one. -

Kentucky Kingdom (SFKK, KK) Discussion Thread
3Mutts replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
^ Alright I gained a little hope reading that, but I still think the red tape will screw him somehow for whatever ridiculous reason. Get ready for Kentuckys first Casino! -
I think Star Jet that was was at Casino Pier had a odd layout (a wild mouse like turn while still moving at a decent speed, Ow!)
-
^^^ I agree it is, I think it would have been better if they went with something more unique to the area (Gerstlauer Bobsled, a more family oriented Mauaer Söhne X Car, or if they had to go with Mack's wild mouse, make it have a elevator lift like Matterhorn Blitz inside a lighthouse, oh wait this is owned by Cedar Fair. )

That whole area is a mess right now, I hope that the recovery is fast. -

Some pictures of Coney Island after Sandy (dosent look too bad, the area however is in shambles). Steeple Chase Pier Buildings don't look too damaged Cyclone is still standing! Deno's Wonder Wheel Park. Scream Zone. And now the area around. A pizzeria (did TPR eat here?) Shore Theater. -
Hey guys, I was wondering if China Dinosaurs Park is do able for a day trip from Shanghia on a weekend (my dad may have time off from work in Shanghia on his business trip and he wants to ride Dinoconda). Also did you guys do the museum there, if so how was it. Finally when TPR was there was it busy? Thanks for the advice.
