  1. All I got to say is that why can't people today take a joke?
  2. Boogie-Woogie Space Coaster is very odd. Also 3 of Victory Kingdoms coasters have very generic names (Spinning Coaster, Suspended Looping Coaster, and U Shaped Roller Coaster).
  3. Yeah I was thinking they might pull a Walibi on us.
  4. ^ Actually two rides have Timberliners! Wooden Warrior at Quassy and Twister at Gröna Lund. Although it is still unlikely to see them on Ghostrider because CF doesn't have any relationship with the Gravity Group. Also, Millenium Flyers are unlikely because due to GCIs strict standards for putting them on other wood coaster but the ones they design. I think the most likely trains would be the new Rocky Mountain trains on Outlaw Run if CF does a Topper Track make over.
  5. It's rough (that can be solved by keeping your back off the seat back and sitting toward the front) and boring.
  6. No body is going to buy it judging by this photo Link: Link:
  7. Yes I did ride it and it was very odd (probably the second oddest after Comet Express).
  8. Those train look really cool! Very stage coach like.
  9. ^ Its the Colossus layout. Also for regular park goers, is the drop tower running again?
  10. ^ I hope so too as they have a lot of good terrain to work with there (Projekt Helix type coaster anyone? ) Part IB: Everland Amusement Park & Gardens Very cool double down drop on the log flume. Skloosh! Seat whipper dude. Up we go to Columbus Adventure. Big a$$ pirate ship. Loading up. Apparently the employee who runs the ride has a elephant purse. After Columbus Adventure and the zoo (more on that later) we went down to Everlands beautiful garden. Seriously this is one of the beautiful gardens I've ever seen. It even has a train that goes around the garden! After we crossed the train tracks, we have arrived at the Four Seasons Garden. Being true to its name, the Four Seasons Garden was decorated for Halloween. Real pumpkins then..... Flower pumpkins! Smiley flower pumpkin! The beginning of a walk through in the garden had this odd music plant thing. Saw and troll pumkins. Some sort of stage. The garden and T Express in the background. The garden and the park in the background. After we got done with the garden we walked up the hill by the carousel. I did Double Rock Spin (my first suspended topspin) I enjoyed it (it was way better then a regular topspin) Lets Twist! After we got done in Rocksville we went down to get a few more rides in on T Express. OMG 77 Degrees! Airtime! I'll leave you guys with a few shots of the tree at night. The zoo is coming tomarrow!
  11. I thought French Revolution was an odd name for a Vekoma Looper.
  12. ^Yep the sign has been there ever since it closed in 2009. And if they are refurbishing it I don't think they would let the track rust. Also, Rollling X Trains was pretty good the first time we rode but the sucked the second time we rode we rode later in the day (it would have scored a 3/10 if sucked all day like French Revolution) also I liked Herky & Timmy's for some reason, IDK why.
  13. Part I: Everland Amusement Park and Gardens Hey guys, me and my dad went to Everland on friday two weeks ago. IMO I thought Everland was a very beautiful park with an awesome wooden coaster. Below is what I thought about the rides. T Express 10/10: Better the El Toro because it had the same amount of airtime El Toro has but it was longer. It was better in the front then the back IMO Rolling X Train 7/10: The 3rd gen Vekoma trains did help, but the ride still sucked. It was better the first time we rode it then the second time. Herky & Timmy's Racing Coaster 8/10: Pretty good junior coaster, thought it was way better then Woodstock Express at Cedar Point. Mystery Mansion 8/10: Fun but very odd. I did not like the way we were seated in the car and thought the guns and theming could have been better. Columbus Adventure 8/10: Biggest pirate ship I've ever ridden. Thought it was force less and it could have gone higher. Double Rock Spin 10/10: Very good topspin Lets Twist 10/10: Very fun ride! Gardens 10/10: Very beautiful gardens recommend to anyone going to Everland. Now for pics! 5002 is our bus. After a 30min bus ride, we see the famous Everland tree! The tree is all decorated up for Halloween Bye piece of crap. Hello Intamin goodness I see El Toro here... And Balder here! Line (only 15min). Hmmm.... Me thinks I need a new phone The El Toro stlye lift. Airtime in the back here. The old graffiti ridden hallway is slowly building itself back up to its former glory. An old man in pain (maybe he has ridden Rolling X Train too many times?). I'm a evil cat creature with only one eye, fear ME! Umm.... I don't know how to explain this. Chair way from European Village to Rocksville (the reason there is a net under it is because the bar doesn't lock) In line for Rolling X Train we noticed a comic about it apparently theses story comics are found throughout the park. After we got done with Rolling X Train we decided to go check the condition of Eagles Fortress. Apparently they are still "refurbishing" it. Station Transfer Track Huss Breakdance called Rodeo. Going to ride the racing coaster that doesn't race. Only Timmy was running today. Timmy finishing his "race". Stage (I love the attention to detail in the kids area). Odd kiddie tower ride. IMO it was sort of like a parachute tower mixed with a gyro drop tower for kids. Mainstreet of the kids area (very cool). Fountain. Ferris wheel (closed all day ) Eagles Fortress from the kids area More to come in Part IB: Everland Amusement Park and Gardens.
  14. Lets not forget the triple Arrow Corkscrew coaster Fantasia Special at Tongdo Fantasia! Link: http://www.rcdb.com/1399.htm?p=20581
  15. IMO: Mean Streak Ghost Rider White Canyon Any RCCA coaster Cyclone at SFNE Predator Wildcat at Hershey Park Canada's Wonderlands wooden coasters Both Hurlers Colossus at SFMM
  16. My order: 1. Top Thrill Dragster-great launch and ejector on the top hat sometimes 2. Magnum-Airtime in the third seat! 3. Maverick-Would beat Magnum and Dragster if it had better restraints 4. Wicked Twister-Best impulse out there 5. Millenium Force-Overrated no forces except in the 1st high banked turn and the last hill by the station very smooth still 6. Raptor-Pretty good invert till the head banking part at the end 7. Gemini-Very smooth and a great racing coaster 8. Blue Streak-Good floater air but its too simple (if it had buzz bars like the Phoenix I think it could be great) 9. Wild Cat-Nice Schwarzkopf and a great family coaster pretty sad to see it go 10. Iron Dragon-not enough swingness to it but still a great family coaster 11. Woodstock Express-Pretty good kiddie coaster 12. Disaster Transport-Mediocre ride with cheesy theming like the Alpine Bobsled at TGE better 13. Cedar Creek Mine Ride-WORST MINE RIDE EVER 14. Jr. Gemini-Boring and painful great historical value (Intamins 1st coaster) 15. Mean Streak-Rough but can live through it if you keep your back off the seat back 16. Corkscrew-Rough painful cool to look at 17. Mantis-Awful stand up but not the worst I've ridden (that goes to Le Cobra at La Ronde ) *Magnum and Maverick are interchangeable.
  17. This saga will never end. I have a question for anyone who knows or has some of an idea, what rides and attractions are in good enough shape (if any) to fix and reopen. The rides aren't even in bad shape. Inside the park, Kentucky Kingdom looks as if it has closed yesterday for the winter season believe it or not. Obviously though, the woodies and mile high falls will need some heavy work. Oh they are in bad shape judging from this TR in 2011. Link: http://queencitydiscovery.blogspot.com/2012/02/from-ruins-of-kingdom-boardwalk-rises.html If the saga keeps going it will end up like this. 18. Yup so unless Intamin really wants to design a new train for their new track, the stand up from Intamin will never return.
  19. Are you CRAZY?! I rode Le Cobra at La Ronde this summer and it is the WORST stand up I've ever ridden! The only Intamin stand up that deserves to live is Shockwave at Drayton Manor due to its uniqueness (only zero g roll on a stand up). Plus Intamin didn't really make the stand ups, they just marketed them, Giovanola really manufactured them.
  20. The B&M roar and the sound that Intamin prefabs make when they crest hills.
  21. Another one I forgot to mention is Comet Express at Lotte World (TR coming soon). IMO any coaster that has a monster that poops you out into space is an odd coaster all the way around. http://www.rcdb.com/1336.htm?p=17620 http://m.youtube.com/?reason=8&rdm=8016#/watch?feature=related&v=LtxC1gZ852I
  22. Just wondering, but does Coaster Express at Parque Warner Madrid use polyurethane wheels like the prefabricated wooden coasters? I'm asking because the train look very similar to the prefabs, but are on a RCCA coaster.
  23. Abismo at Parque de Atracciones de Madrid is a odd layout for a Mauaer Söhne Skyloop Link: http://www.rcdb.com/3185.htm?p=12428
  24. Mack has two on the books (Projekt Helix & Storm at Etnaland)
  25. ^ I CAN'T beleive I forgot those as Intamin still makes them. Edit: and if it EVER gets puts back into use, the SBNO parachute ride structure at Coney Island (It's older but it's the ride that Intamins is based on).
