  1. ^Is the dive loop finished? On the last picture I saw it looked like there ore one or two pieces of wood still missing.
  2. Texas Giant
  3. I can't say much as I haven ridden Helix but I also think his intention was never to avoid using the restraints properly. If you tighten them so that they are just touching your legs but not squeezing them it should (I think) be perfectly safe and would be enough to ensure a more comfortable ride. I don't think anyone here is questioning the restraints themselves but just the way the operators may apply a lot of force when securing them.
  4. Yeah but why? I mean, if they were separating these newer hypers from the older ones (until Silver Star) that could mean something but, apart from the seating arrangement, is there any difference between Behemoth's trains and Leviathan's? I find it quite odd (but maybe they just haven't added them to leviathan for some reason we don't know and will do it soon). Could it be because there is less room between the seats on leviathan to put the belts? (still sounds a bit weird)
  5. I'm small, about 13, and the trains were horribly. Very tight, so much g force, felt like I was going to black out, and I almost did. I want the new trains back, some of you may agree. As for getting valleyed, they closed it for the rest of the day, I went on it 2 times though, not a fan of it any more.. I surely wasn't counting on that. I thought they were going to be an improvement (even though I had no problems with the old ones). I'm not sure I get what you're saying. Are you saying that they run it faster than before (which they can't, really) to combat wind resistance? Sorry if I got you wrong, I just wasn't sure.
  6. ^Yeah this ride seems pretty pointless, just too much time upside down and not much else, really,
  7. ^You're right, in some cases it isn't a choice. But I also know people who are overweight and don't really seem to care. When I was younger I was slightly overweight, but then I decided I would lose some. It might not have been easy at first, but I'm perfectly fit now. Still, it is true that it is not always as simple as that. Nonetheless, like said earlier, there are some things which you can't control that, like it or not, are going to affect your life and nobody is saying people should "pay" in any way for being overweight, but just that it is simply not possible to please everyone and when you're seriously obese, it is natural that you won't fit unless designers come up with really big seats which then would affect the rest of guests, so..
  8. Nice pictures! Love this one So..... well.. twistyyyyy!
  9. ^I know, I know. I had already seen the video but was still amazed that they built it.
  10. There is not a problem with just expressing your opinion and concerns
  11. Or the obese people can stop being unhealthy to fit in a train that is designed for people to fit in. Not trying to be mean, but not fitting in a seat that everyone easily can should be a wake up call. Also, B&M does this on many coasters. Also not wanting to be mean I have to say I agree. Sometimes life may be unfair and if, for instance, you don't have a good eyesight you can't do things like being a fighter pilot. On top of that, while it may not be easy, it is possible to lose weight when some other "problems" (like the one I just mentioned) can't be solved. There will always be a limited range of body sizes a seat can accommodate and I'm sure that manufacturers take the average size into account. If you wanted to make all the seats in a ride able to accommodate very large people then thinner people couldn't ride (and you wouldn't force them to put on weight)
  12. After my recent visit to Portaventura I have one thing to add: - Closed restaurants (especially when the park is super crowded and you still have to be walking around a lot to find an open one)
  13. A floorless would also be interesting. Even though inverts usually are the type of ride B&M may make more forceful there are some (rather infamous ones) like Silver Bullet that are more on the forceless side while I've never heard anyone saying a floorless was completely forceless as they usually are quite solid rides. So it would be interesting to see what one of those would be like now that they haven't build one for a while.
  14. That has to be one of the best ideas ever! I can't believe such thing actually exists!
  15. Awesome report! Love those night shots! Glad to know it overall went well (apart from one or two issues) and even gladder to know it was running better than just two days before!
  16. Delilah - Tom Jones
  17. Possessed - Dorney
  18. ^I had actually noticed that before. In a way, find the "barless" ones better looking but when there is one it's a sign that it's an old-school invert!
  19. I kind of feel the same about smiler. My parents are considering a trip to England this year so I might just have a chance...
  20. Leviathan doesn't have seat belts.....at least for now. I know. Still I thought that everyone would go for the "big ride" especially after noticing the queue was smaller than behemoth's.
  21. I remember 1 year ago I said I was all Nike. And still the same (haven't really bought anything lately) Starting to get a bit worn out, though.
