  1. Dog Fart Coaster
  2. This is just an awesome idea!
  3. ^Probably Morgan wasn't used to having the wheels on the outside of the track, hence them coming off.
  4. ^I got a more uncomfortable ride on wildcat at Hershey. But then those are two types of roughness: while mean streak hits some spots that make the cars bounce like crazy all over the place, with wildcat I got these constant high frequency vibrations all the way through the ride, which I found worse than MS.
  5. Actually I do like the name, pretty bad-ass indeed.
  6. Sorry for the double post but just found this on SFM's facebook. Looks awesome, in my opinion!
  7. No one thinks what a loop would look like seen from above
  8. ^It doesn't look like there was, you're right. Or at least it wasn't doing much. But I don't know if it was only added later.
  9. ^Holy crap! That's tall. I would love to do something like skydiving but I'm not sure I would do that as I'm kind of afraid I would get hurt.
  10. That's the dumbest excuse I've ever heard. Tear down that last portion of Rolling Thunder and connect the damn drop tower to El Toro underneath the crossover hill to re-complete the loop that they've closed off - they just left it there because they're lazy and don't see the point in putting in the effort to remove one ride from under another when they aren't using the space anyway. Yeah, that's what I thought. Also, being able to go under that part would be cool.
  11. Those trains look great! I like how sleek and low they look.
  12. ^Sad to hear. I loved that film when I was a kid (and still kind of do)
  13. ^ Here: http://www.themeparkreview.com/events/Japan2014.pdf Scroll to the bottom and you'll find such information (and more). You have to be 16 to go alone on a trip (with permission) I'm not sure about club tpr but I think there is no minimum age.
  14. Once again, I suppose the definition is interpreted differently by different people. For me, it's simple: 0 G = weightlessness <0 G = airtime That's it. Right, but even so, a tighter lapbar or seabelts is not going to change the G-forces of the ride. If it at any point pulls less than 0 G's, no matter how tightly youre stapled into the seat youre going to feel weightless. So I think we are actually in agreement here, really. Seatbelts can not affect airtime. It's obviously not going to change the forces on the ride, but it can change what you feel drastically. For example, on gatekeeper's big airtime hill I know that there is some floater air there (not much less than 0 G) but I couldn't really feel it because I was glued to my seat. When it comes to ejector air, it's a smaller difference but when we're talking about floater ( 0 to -0,5 Gs, more or less) it does make a difference. But, to me, it doesn't affect what I consider airtime, just how you feel it.
  15. Kind of strange to see all the lift and drop structure done without track.
  16. It will be interesting to see how smooth that transition will be, once the train is going at full speed. I have never ridden Mr. Freeze but do you feel any "bump" when the train goes over the joint (between transfer track and "normal track")? It still is going a lot slower during that stage, though. Anyway, I obviously hope Busch go for this option and I'm sure premier will make it work well.
  17. Bullet with Butterfly Wings - The Smashing Pumpkins
  18. Looking awesome! By the way, is this bit of wood here doing anything?
  19. I actually thought they could do a "very beyond vertical drop" but it's still great. I would like to see, one day, a coaster with normal trains (normal length) feature a beyond vertical drop. Of course it would have to be really tall, but there are some very tall rides nowadays, so.. Because, to me, the thing is the taller coasters get the less airtime their drops will have if they limit themselves to 90 degrees drops. B&M seems to design their hyper drops so that they provide constant floater air all the way and I suppose a coaster with a around 400 ft vertical drop would do that. So, from then on, unless you design a drop like this: which looks ridiculous, you will never get ejector air in such a big drop (like you do on skyrush). The other option would be to go vertical in the first 100 or 200 feet but then the rest would be just boring. So what I thought of was if they took a 300 or 400 ft drop and shaped it so that it would provide ejector air all the way, and I'm sure it would have to be beyond vertical.
  20. I want to hire this guy for some jobs!
  21. ^What about voyage? Only if they went for something significantly different: a bit lower, with inversions and so on...
  22. Once again, I suppose the definition is interpreted differently by different people. For me, it's simple: 0 G = weightlessness <0 G = airtime That's it.
