I was wondering if anyone had been to the Gilroy Gardens Holiday Lights this year? The park is so impressive the rest of the year with it's scenery that I was considering trying to make it for the holidays this year. Hoping for some insight about whether it's worth the mildly lengthy drive for me or if it would be smarter just to stick with SFDK.

Is someone needing an Incredible Express credit? Ok...I'll admit to using friends kids as an excuse to ride it before.

I was very excited to receive my gifts on Monday but didn't get a chance to post til right now! I want to give a HUGE thank you to my not-so-secret Santa. I really enjoy the gifts from parks I have yet to visit, and it oddly makes me want to visit them even more now! Look at the goodies! An awesome Wild Eagle Inaugural Flight T-Shirt! A brand spankin' new Dollywood shot glass to add to my collection! And yet another shot glass from Holiday World! Thank you again! This was a great way to kick off the holidays!

YEARS ago, I waited 4 hours for Goliath at SFMM. I wouldn't wait that long for anything again.

Gifts wrapped, packed, and heading to the post office soon! Everything arrived just BARELY in time to be shipped out despite ordering it immediately when I got my name. Digging through old posts and coming across this thread makes me feel like SUCH an outcast for being a Diet Pepsi fan!

I can find the jelly once in a while, but not the preserves. Oh well...wouldn't mind the trip down there anyway.

^^ I'm not even a huge Domo fan, but I still find that incredibly awesome! As for Black Friday...went to a couple stores with family that was in town, realized there was nothing that interested me, then went home and did most of my shopping from the comfort of my couch!

Let me preface this by saying that I haven't been there to see them in person, but am I the only one who finds the holiday decorations at DCA a bit underwhelming? Considering all the hype they've given in in promotions, it seems like it is a bit of a let down from what I've seen online and on television. Any insight from someone who has been there this holiday season?

Ugh. The deep fried Twinkies are the always the second best part of my trip to the Boardwalk. While I'm certain Twinkie will live again, even a delay in production may make life un-livable. Hopefully Twinkies are back before Undertow is ready to roll!

Same here! Impatiently waiting for the gifts to show up so I can wrap them up and send them out! Perhaps I'm not patient enough for online shopping!

Makes me wonder if we will see Cedar Fair selling off their other stand alone water parks in the future.

I guess since the names are about to be distributed, it's time for me to share some interests! I love Halloween (even during the rest of the year), and especially the Nightmare before Christmas. Other non park related interests are zombies(Walking Dead!), Los Angeles Dodgers (despite last season), and musicals. Size large in t-shirts, etc. As for anything park related, I do tend to collect shot glasses and Millennium Force is my favorite coaster still to this day. Looking forward to the fun of finding out who I get and picking out gifts!

I'm thinking it's NOT coincidence. Makes for some perfect tie in's with the 49ers. And I really like the name a lot. Funny how a name makes it more tangible to me somehow.

Thanks for sharing! I find it interesting that the majority of the guests are all on the sidewalk on Main Street. Definitely wouldn't see that today even if the crowds didn't make that option nearly impossible.
