  1. Let's chime in with a guess of Manta at SeaWorld Orlando.
  2. I am certain everyone else here knows, so pardon my ignorance, but where is this coaster to be located in the park?
  3. Ahh...apparently didn't submit right for Cedar Point. Fixed that now and just waiting for the 24 hours to fix my CGA review. Definitely will be done tonight.
  4. Well that was quick! I'll drop a donation as soon as I have the chance! Apparently I popped in the forum at just the right time. Thanks for the donation.
  5. Just hit $100!! ($121 total) Although only one of my donors is participating in Coasting for Kids... First person to respond get's 15 bucks donated to them! Resonded.
  6. I guess I had an advantage having never posted a review on here at all, however I stopped at 10 Apparently there's an advantage to being a newbie. Posted reviews for: Six Flags Discovery Kingdom Six Flags Magic Mountain Hersheypark Cedar Point California's Great America Knott's Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk Gilroy Gardens Adventuredome Disney's California Adventure
  7. I know it's a modest accomplishment, but I just made my $75 minimum to participate and felt the need to share that information. Still a ways to go for my goal, so I guess I better get busy.
  8. Star Wars t-shirt is indeed still in play Robb. Thank you for upping the ante.
  9. Done! For both! That was a very sweet pot! Awesome! Thank you to both "bubala" and "The Stig!"
  10. Don't be jealous...Timber Twister is not that thrilling. ...oh wait...you weren't referring to me, we're you?
  11. http://losangeles.dodgers.mlb.com/news/article.jsp?ymd=20120327&content_id=27685944&vkey=news_la&c_id=la&partnerId=aw-7883102026726390814-1074 It will be nice to no longer be a fan of a bankrupt team.
  12. I'm gonna go out on a limb here and assume that we must have some Star Wars fans here in the group. Well, I recently came across an awesome Darth Maul Episode 1 t-shirt in my storage from an old business that I owned, and I want to give it away! So, here we go...the first person to donate $20 (or more) to my Coasting for Kids page will get this shirt! Sound like a plan? Oh but wait...let me tell you a little about this shirt: It is "brand new" and has been perfectly stored since the original theatrical release of Episode 1. It is size adult XL and still has all of it's original tags. I must say that it's pretty awesome. Just go donate, then come back here and post that you've donated for the shirt. Once I see something posted, I'll PM you to get your address for shipping (US address only please). http://www.firstgiving.com/fundraiser/craigjensen/CaliforniasGreatAmerica
  13. Kind of embarrassed to say that the last coaster I have ridden was the Timber Twister at Gilroy gardens. Oh the shame! http://rcdb.com/1045.htm?p=3075 Haven't hit a park yet this season.
  14. That's awesome. Just changed my cover photo now. I thought about modifying it with my personal donations page, then decided it really doesn't matter since it's all going to the same place in the end, right?
  15. It has been a great test of my patience awaiting the official details for CGA. It won't make a difference in my enthusiasm, but it would be great to know. Glad our park has some good participation so far no matter what.
  16. Has anyone else been following Ghost Town on Facebook? it seems to me like their seemingly 15 year old marketing genius is going to upset some of the loyal locals by forcing a change from the GT group to their "official" FB page. Not being a local, I can't directly speak to it, but I know I would be irritated in that situation. As a distant follower, I still really hope this underdog park gets back going!
  17. I would guess Zonga. That was my guess, but I just kinda wanted to confirm. I took a couple years off from the park for the "minute" that they had Zonga.
  18. I had issues registering on my ipad as well, although I don't think it was the same issue. Ended up using my PC to register instead.
  19. Seems like SOMETHING should be happening to me, but hey...I am not a ride builder or park big wig. Btw...DoubleOKevin, which coaster is that in your avatar?
  20. Not to mention Coasting for Kids...I wonder how they justify allowing this if that is their new policy.
  21. As soon as you're born you start dying, so you might as well have a good time.
  22. Thank you SO much for the start. I shall definitely return the favor soon by donating to someone else who needs a start. Great to have a donation under the belt.
  23. Wow...California's Great America seems to be gaining fundraisers right and left for Coasting for Kids. Just finished signing up for myself and my good friend Teresa. I'm looking forward to raising some funds for this awesome cause. http://www.firstgiving.com/fundraiser/craigjensen/CaliforniasGreatAmerica http://www.firstgiving.com/fundraiser/teresazequeira/CaliforniasGreatAmerica Of course we'll be pushing like crazy to raise funds in the "real world" over the next couple months, but any jumpstart that anyone would like to give would be appreciated.
