I haven't heard anything about Arnolds Park for ages---I honestly didn't think it was still open. It sure looks like a fun place, though, and I'm glad it is open. Eric

"Tatsu with Batman trains" (socalMAN123) You might want to rethink that when you're at the bottom of the pretzel loop... Eric -
"This sunday don't forget or you will be an hour late to wherever you have to be." (spaceace12) Especially because this Sunday is West Coast Bash! Eric

^ Braces for a short time will look better than crooked teeth for a lifetime. Right now, I'm really tired of the "WOW!!! Post Number [fill in number]!!! WOO-HOO?" that I see too much of around here. Does anyone really care? Eric

Americans are tired of Republicans, so I'll say no. Should I go outside and watch a train go by?

Revenge of the Mummy layouts?
ebl replied to zano's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Florida's Mummy > California's Mummy. Florida's ToT > California's ToT. So there you have it from a kindly, older gentleman who has ridden all of the above. Eric -
^^ Sometimes I actually speak like that! In fun, of course... If I disassemble the ventilation system here at home, could you say that I no longer have my ducts in a row? Eric

Legoland - Land of Adventure Preview & KidTums' Birthday
ebl replied to robbalvey's topic in Photo Trip Report Archive
We went to Legoland in August 2001 when Diana was 11. I do know that she really enjoyed it, and all of us had a blast---and we didn't even see everything. At that time, they had Spellbreaker, which was short, but fun. I'd like to see something like that, only on a longer scale. Of course, I think the company who made that (Caripro, if I recall) is out of business. Eric -
I'm sure glad me never goed to skool where you guys did. Teachers what throw things at their students shouldn't be able to taught in publik skools. iErc

Busch Gardens Williamsburg (BGW BGE) Discussion Thread
ebl replied to cfc's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
What about Scandinavia? That could make a good area and could be a blend of Finland, Norway, and Sweden. I've never been to Busch Gardens Europe, but it's a park definitely on my list. Eric -

I had a Rubik's Cube or two back in the early '80s when they first came out. In fact, on my desk here at home is a round one that looks like a world globe. Eric

I have an interview on Thursday for a possible tech writing job just over the hill from home. Hopefully it'll be a success. Eric

"And our chef's name was Tatsu!!! No joke!!!" I'll be he had those knives "flying" throughout the meal! Sounds like Kristen's first birthday was a blast! Eric -
Six Flags announces Six Flags Dubailand.
ebl replied to Six Flags Addict's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Let's see...it isn't April 1... This will be Six Flags' first new park built since Six Flags St. Louis (1971). (Remember that they acquired all of their subsequent properties by buying existing ones and being bought out by then-Premier Parks.) Best of luck...I hope it's a success. Eric -
Your family FAILED!!! for going during such crowded days. Seriously, even during my last visit in October 2006---while the International Food & Wine Festival was going on, there were a few times where crowds were on the thin side. It's really very nice like that. Thanks for sharing your pictures. Eric
