  1. Sure...that keeps me up at night, too! Do you like McDonald's food?
  2. ^ You're right! My first sentence in that post ended with an "s." Therefore... <-- FAIL!!! Eric
  3. I wasn't expecting to be sitting in front of my computer this late, but I took notice that today is your birthday. May you enjoy the day doing what you want! And thank you for all you do here at TPR! Eric
  4. AutoCAD. There's absolutely nothing "auto" about it. You still have to enter the commands and information. Eric
  5. I just got a nice selection of goodies at Target...$21 worth. Eric
  6. "This is prior to CCI's overkill." (SeaWhippet) Fixed for truth. Eric
  7. ^ I wouldn't count on the former, either. From what I've heard, Goliath Jr./Percy's manufacturer does not recommend grownups to ride. I couldn't tell you why, but that's what I've heard. Eric
  8. ^ Maybe they will find a way to run Batman's trains on Tatsu! Eric
  9. "And I believe they never ran the Morgan trains backwards because they don't have headrests." (RIP Psyclone) Also, I believe, because the Morgans are trailer cars. Someone correct me, please, if I'm mistaken. And very nice video, Shane. I really wish I'd ridden that. I wonder if anyone rode it before and after the "rehab?" Eric
  10. How do you guys know my first name isn't really "Dave?" Eric
  11. If I recall, the weather report said something about rain this weekend. But we'll see. Eric
  12. Sometime way back in the 20th Century. When was the last time you fed a parking meter?
  13. ^ Only if you pay me the same as you would anyone else. Eric
  14. "So the museum was awesome, can’t wait to see how the GP reacts to it." (jdsmartdude911) I hope the GP treats this with the respect it deserves, rather than tagging, vandalizing, or taking any of it. Nice report, BTW. Did anyone say when this officially opens to the public? Eric
  15. I just thought about this...what will WCB 2009 offer? Surely they'll try to top this year's event, though it'll be tough. Eric
  16. "...on December 21th..." (walterioland) 21th? Interesting...and my birthday is August 1nd. Anyway, sorry to hear about your breakup, coaster05. A breakup near Christmas---or any holiday---is hard. Hopefully things get better.
  17. Boxers. That's it. If you value your eyesight, don't come to my house right now, please. Eric
  18. I'm still amazed at how both Jay and Neal all but dropped everything to help me find my camera early in the day. Never have I had such service. I'd like to hope that as time goes on and people see how much SFMM is changing for the better they'll be a bit more friendly back to Jay and/or Neal should they happen to meet in the park. Eric
  19. ^ Go to bed. < Will not read story. V Will wet bed!
  20. ^ What amazes me as well is how I personally saw Jay and Neal greet people and ask if they were having fun, and, sadly, most of the responses I saw were anything from ignoring them to "Um, OK..." Apparently, people aren't used to being treated nicely. And that's too bad. Eric
  21. I'm not sure I understand how this benefits anyone. To me, it'd be like having to put your name on your ballot for an election. Eric
  22. Nice video! Even nicer because I wasn't in it! Eric
  23. Thank you for your comments, Neal. I will agree with the others in saying that I like The New Six Flags Magic Mountain. For the last 15 years, I've purchased a season pass (the last four years have been the Xtreme Play Pass), and will continue to do so. The pass is a great value and ensures that I'll be back at the park as much as possible. I'm looking forward to seeing the finished Thomas Town and the new ride next year. X2 looks like it will take the original X (X1 according to Tim Burkhart) to the third power. Thank you to the entire SFMM team for making the park a place where you want to be. Eric
  24. "Doesn't it use Pyclone's old trains when it runs backwards? Don't they use them becasue the brakes are different if it runs backwards and Pyclones trains are set up like that?" (astroworld1) We're talking about the old PTC trains that Colossus had from 1980 till 1986. They could run those backwards with a slight modification (the usual---turning chain dogs and anti-rollback devices around). I wish I could have ridden the Racer (Montana Rusa) in Mexico City. That sounded like it was quite a ride. Eric
  25. There was more than one Snorlax in that front seat. But I liked the term. Very Dr. Seuss. Eric
