There is a tour of the WDW Railroad Roundhouse, I believe. I've never done it, but as a railfan, it's on my list of things to do. A few people I know have taken it and enjoyed it. Unfortunately, I don't have any info, but you can certainly do a search and find it. (Of course, so should I... ) Eric

This topic prompted me to get out my own booklet and take another look at it. There's no free parking pass this year (but I have the Xtreme Play Pass anyway, so that doesn't matter; however, with Diana having the regular pass, she'll have to pay every time). There is a new one: bring a friend free to another Six Flags park, meaning that if we take a trip up to, say SFDK, we could bring a friend free there. This is a new perk. Also, there are several Free Large Soda with Combo Purchase ones. This is also a new one for 2008 (at least I don't remember it in any previous years). Hope this helps a bit, too. Eric

In all seriousness, I wish Silverwood the best of luck with their new ride. It’s a huge monster icon ride that would be a great fit for the park, and is actually is a lot of fun to ride when it works. Plus it will be very interesting to hear if Silverwood can tame the beast that Six Flags couldn’t. My suggestion: "Closed---Please Come Back" Eric

Ninja was only running one train when I was out there on Monday, but the Sky Tower was open. Tatsu was having its difficulties, however, so I skipped it. But as an example of improving service, two security guards by the entrance to Tatsu told me that I could ask any security personnel anywhere in the park about it reopening, and they would simply call up there to find out for me. Eric

I wonder why that hostess told me that there was no single-rider line for Hulk? Maybe she was new or misinformed, or maybe they don't do that on a Saturday? Good question. Eric

Nice TR, Scaparri. Glad you finally made it out here. You're right about Speed: The Ride. I just wish they'd take the OTSRs off of this ride like most---if not all---other Premier coasters. Eric

It would be an incredible and very expensive undertaking, but I do like the idea of enclosing at least one of the raven turns and putting some lighting effects inside. Won't happen, but...a pleasant thought. Eric

I've been to the place itself, though didn't stay. We were going to eat at Beaches 'n' Cream, but there was quite a wait, so we passed. Eric

One time I was with a friend and walking over to the old May Co. store. Along the way, some kids stopped me and said, "You look like a kid we had a fight with one time." I told them I didn't remember such a thing, so one of the kids punched me in the stomach. Then they walked away. That was...interesting. Eric

^ I was out there earlier today for awhile just to get out of the house. Didn't do much riding (just Viper, Colossus, and Goliath). Over by Food, Etc., I saw Tim Burkhart walking ahead of some other important looking people, but I didn't recognize any of them. The park was quite clean today, but not very crowded. Eric
