^ Thank you, Hector! I also bookmarked that site. And I also found out that my problem is at my house. Strange, because everything else works fine. Eric

Watch it, no, but I do like Bill Engvall. Do you ever purposely park right next to a car exactly like yours---same make, model, color?

I'm sort of fond of the one on the Santa Cruz Giant Dipper. That's a good one. Eric

I have a reasonably fast computer, and a good Internet connection (Verizon FiOS), but for some reason, starting yesterday, I cannot access MySpace. Is anyone else having trouble? Just curious as to whether the problem is on their end or mine. Eric

Return of the Collapsing Bridge
ebl replied to AlexG8462's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
This was always an "eh" effect for me; perhaps because the bridge didn't collapse fast enough (I guess hydraulics only work so fast). My last time on the tour was in August 2005, not long before it shut down, and I remember thinking that if the bridge could fall faster, not only would it be more realistic, but guests might actually get a bit of airtime, too! I don't know if it's only my computer, but I couldn't access MySpace all day---and still can't. Eric

I have no iPhone. I want no iPhone. Do you believe that putting a bar of soap under your bed sheet prevents leg cramps?

Interesting how this Vekoma mine train is able to operate with all of its "locomotive's" wheels in place, while the ones at Disney have had the second set removed after the 2003 Disneyland crash of Big Thunder Mountain Railroad---also a Vekoma ride, I believe. Eric -
No; however I did think about it once. But I smelled trouble. Have you ever been to Canada?

"I also think the "ghetto" statements are kind of racist" (SFAfan#1) First of all, I'm beyond tired of the "racist" accusation of all too many things. "Ghetto" may be a term used to describe an area where black people live, but another definition of it is "run down" or "crummy looking." Is the term "run down" racist in some way? Eric -

Because the Giant Egg People took over and sent everyone scrambling. How do they get the caffeine out of Caffeine Free Diet Coke? -

That looks like a really nice place. There's something about the Chicago area that intrigues me, and I'd really like to visit the area sometime. A good friend of mine is originally from there, and probably rode that old rail line where the Metra trains run now. Thanks for sharing. Eric -

No, but it helps the bottom line at the hardware store. We all know about popping corn, but what would happen if we popped oats or rice? -
I rode Pony Express twice on May 30. It's not that much, but it's a fun little ride. My only wish is that it would have been a bit longer. Perhaps a helix or an extra out-and-back stretch over Bigfoot Rapids might have been a good idea. The ride's loading is slow enough to have accommodated some more ride time so the arriving train wouldn't have to sit in the holding position for too long. Eric
