  1. That's one great looking first drop. Can't wait to see the rest of it standing.
  2. I really like this marketing. Much better then some dummy's with missing arms and legs. I can't wait for this ride to open. I'm curious about the secret element, although I see them go for the washing machine.
  3. I won't be surprised if the back-up story is true. Look at Merlin, each park with a B&M (except Thorpe park then) has a attraction with a name of (one of) their B&M. Heide-Park (Krake --> Krake Lebt) Alton Towers (Nemesis --> Nemesis Sub-Tera) Gardaland (Raptor --> Raptor Genetix) (Still in the make) So I'm expecting a Swarm back-up story longer then today. I don't think they take Nemesis Inferno because the ride is old and not as legendary as his older brother in Alton Towers. I really hope they keep the Saw theme for some more years I'm not going here before 2015 and I really like the movies, would be nice to have a ride with the same theme.
  4. I'm always fascinated by the fact that the park could build such big rides regarding there height limit. It's a great thing they have elevated grounds so they can (let's call it) cheat the system, this also makes there rides blend into surroundings (Like Nemesis and Air). I was again surprised by SW7 insane lay-out and I'm secretly exited by how they're going to make SW8 (love to think that we see that someday ).I'm looking forward to ride all there rides too bad it will take at least 2 years.
  5. ^ Look a page back and you know he gets some.
  6. I can't see if it's a corkscrew before the secret element or not. But I'm guessing the washing machine element is going to happen. I love the crossing inversions they look sweet.
  7. For this: Where did you here this? I've been following AT but haven't seen anything about Oblivion getting some new love. for all of time. I head back to this: And Quote this: So what I understand is that we get a Paint job for Oblivion for next year. It's always great when they giving a coaster a nice fresh coat of paint once in a while.
  8. ^ Not decapitated, but amputated arms and legs. But Even I see them doing this element and say it is 4 inversions. Good news they're make Oblivion shiny again along side the new SW.
  9. Or perhaps the new Freefly.
  10. I'm Hoping the Colossus RCM rumor is true those conversions look awesome. I do see them add inversions, that's how I kind of see the park.
  11. I'm already ahead on that. SFOT already is on my bucket list thanks to the New Texas Giant. But I feel we're getting of from the subject here.
  12. Whoa, whoa, whoa. SFMM was going to be your first US park? Yeah, don't do that to yourself. If you have to make your first park a Six Flags park, go to Great Adventure. I said I'm doing it to my first vised to the US, not that it will be my first park of the US. No I'm planning a 6 park trip Including SFMM. SDC Will be my first (As I'm planning a Texas, California trip), my first SF park will be SFFT. So I planned some good rides before hand. Lol true. It was like this before I came a year ago and it will be the same over a year. I just felt like I needed to post my opinion about it.
  13. I also read a lot of whining on SFMM. This doesn't make me want to chance the 2014 trip I started to plan as I always said: "SFMM will be in my first vised to the US." Since I'm planning to go to America next year I'm still keeping my word, I'm just expecting less of the park since those post. (Nothing adding to the thread just felt like I needed to say this) I read countless of times that the park refuses to ride 2 trains with line's over a half a hour to a hour. Sure I believe you have the right to say that you disagree with that and that the park should look at it more. But I'm personally sick that we need to have 3 pages long whining post of the park riding 1 train. Also Construction is something that brings a lot of whining with it. Six Flags Magic Mountain Announced that Full Throttle will open in spring 2013 remember that that is from the 21th of March to the 21th of June. That's six months, the park is building on a other schedule then the others (Like it's different then the other parks in many ways). I also notice that each park gets some negative feedback on this forum but that makes it a forum. They only chance in this thread is that we keep on going on the negative pats more often in this thread. Sure I believe Negativity needs to be part of any forum and each thread, but after some part it just becomes whining to me. (I really felt that I needed to make this post. )
  14. Wait steel Key holes? With the video I thought they where making it from concrete but what the heck. Those are some big pieces I can't wait for them to be on there place.
  15. What photo? Do you know what this element misses? Water effects.
  16. This ride seriously makes me want to go to Liseberg, I've ridden the Mack launched coaster before and it was awesome but this lay-out looks much better. Must plan a Sweden trip in the future.
  17. ^ Who knows perhaps they looked at a temporally path upwards the hill, but ended up failing. Just guessing here. But then the park shouldn't have said they will keep it open, but instead said they where looking at a way to keep it open. Oh well I'm happy to see there actually busy now.
  18. ^ Could be but then I'm scared. I mean where did that shadow of the top come from. It's a simply a just a fault in the image.
  19. Man I hate breaking new year resolutions so fast. My first park of the year will be the Efteling (Even if I hoped not go to the park this year. ), my mother wants to see the water show this time and I had to go to go with them since I'm our personal park guide.
  20. The downside of having a themed park with one theme is that you are only getting attention of that one group that likes it. Sure it would be better for the freedom of making the park but its something nobody will try.
  21. I agree with the eye effect if it would work out it would be a great thing. But with the shape of the tower it's not a perfect drop tower, building it in the inside also argues with a lot of fans as the towers was only seen from the outside. Isengard's tower is more likely then but is less known.
  22. ^If they do that they need to make it in the theme of Sarumans tower, and make it like Mystery Castle in Phantasialand. I mean it would totally fit the scene from The Fellowship of the Ring where in Saruman fights Gandalf, you would be Gandalf then I know everyone would understand that.
  23. Who els loves to see a B&M winged coaster in Smaug style? I was thinking about how it could look like, I mean Middle Earth has lots of spots that where important in the story like: Helms Deep, the Shire, Isengard, Minas Tirith, Erebor and off coarse Mordor. Its not like you can take some of the most known places and make them in one area its not like the movie at all. So I wonder how they are going to choose if it comes through.
  24. I must say that Middle Earth has some amazing spots and architecture that I would like the see in real life. Also I believe you can make great rides with the theme. That said the idea doesn't get me exited. If they are going to build this I need to make a judgment on the concept art.
  25. currently I've did the most first times in 2010 with 10 new rides in one year. Europa park (Without Wodan because it wasn't build back then) and Joris en de Draak (Efteling). Best year so far. My second most stands was last year, 2012, with 8 new rides. Third place goes to 2008 with 6 new ones.
