  1. Hate to crash the party but I'm going to nitpick. This image does the same as the steel station did to me, yes it looks beautiful but I feel like they're distracting us that they still haven't fixed the bending problem, cause in the background behind the beautiful station there are flat turns. Unless I see a picture of coaster track bending I'm not sold on it.
  2. Saying it the hard way: It too bad that we have to wait longer for the announcement because of some idiot trying to get his phone back. I understand why they do it, but that doesn't mean its too bad non the less. I'm sorry if I offended people but this had to be said.
  3. If this is true then why did nobody say something, or why didn't the ride operators shut the ride down (if guest can see it from the station clearly they should too)? Thats something I think is strange. Anyway's he it's the guys own fault non the less, he had no right to be there.
  4. Since the Efteling wants 5 million visitors in 2020 this is what I believe the best path they could take: 2016: New Fairy Tale (Pinocchio). (Confirmed) 2017/2018: Darkride (Hartenhof). (semi-confirmed: The park still wants to add it that's confirmed but no date yet) 2017/2018: New camp site ( Het Loonsche Land). (Semi-confirmed: The park admitted to look for more beds and Loonsche Land is one option they look at, although they said 2017 I believe 2018 is a better choice so they could first focus on the Darkride) 2019: Expend the park borders with some flatrides. Or at least a cheap year. (Unconfirmed) 2020: A new coaster on the extra ground (B&M flyer). (Unconfirmed: Although I will always believe the best think a park can do to grab attention is a coaster)
  5. Literally the only thing missing here is a coaster train going up the rocks, I know it's not possible yet. This is amazing taking theming to a whole new level.
  6. On September 12th me, my girlfriend and some friends are planning on going to the park for the first time. I was wondering what people here would expect crowds to be as it is just after the summer holidays, and off-coarse what line to expect with Kärnan. Also some tips (like what to ride first) and must doe's in the park.
  7. Thanks for both video's. Really interesting look at the construction site and also good to know they're doing their best to make look real. Also The Black Mamba one got me realizing how big that ride truly is. I mean seeing someone just walking underneath it looking so tiny.
  8. As I understood it this came from a official app from CP them self. If that's true then I wonder how they got hands on a fan creation before someone posted it online himself. You see that doesn't make much sense to me for them to get this all handed from a fan. That white on black lay-out maybe, it still is missing it's joints something I see in every NL2, but that other 3D rendering (the colored one on the google earth) must have been a really bad version of NL to look like that, So I believe that must be another program.
  9. Come on people this is real. I know Cedar Fair loves to joke like they did with KI last year. But they don't make a logo and 3D track version just to fool the fans, I mean it cost a lot of money to make that and Cedar Fair is a company that wants to make money, they will not spend money on this just to fool some fans. KI was different they just took a Image of Gatekeeper and posted the Bat logo next to it, it didn't cost money as they already had both things prepared. The lay-out was just taken from place A to B and the logo was already designed for the rebrand to Bat. Honestly I will be shocked if this isn't real.
  10. Like I said this looks promising. At least 3 different Inversions on a Dive so we get to see more tricks. That said, and I know people will think I'm complaining believe I'm not, the Immelmann after the drop has the seen that done that feeling to it. I mean every Dive after Sheikra had that like to see them do some other trick for once. And not going the Krake route with adding a Splash between them, I mean that still looks to a drop followed by a Immelmann to me as the splash is just a straight path and not a "Real" element. But the lay-out looks great and will work with the public for sure.
  11. I could easily be like: It looks fake so must be fake. But being the open minded person I am about this I'm going to say this: If real: This looks promising, A dive with at least 3 inversions and 2 drops, I'm in. Besides that logo looks awesome. If fake: Like I said this looks promising so if this is fake I hope CP comes with something a bit more interesting. Well in over 10 days we know.
  12. So more work has been done yesterday. Can't get enough of these pictures just wow. A lot of work on the theming elements of this ride. A new support going into place. And this one is only a link it holds the spoiler for the ride. Yes a very bad picture of part of the lay-out: http://www.coasterfriends.de/forum/attachments/deutschland-news/377133d1438987403-201x-neuheit-taron-launch-coaster-intamin-themenbereich-klugheim-phantasialand-bildschirmfoto-2015-08-08-um-00.02.13.png But today they working on track: A new track piece. And this weird support. Source and more. This is looking good.
  13. ^Sure that's most certainly is going on here. I have to admit that despite not having the patience and having the feeling of "stalling" it does bring a big smile on my face to see the park taking so much care on theming, and that alone deserves a big thumb up.
  14. I have to admit that looks like a lot of fun. Surely a coaster like no other out there.
  15. Am I the only person that has the feeling construction has stalled again? I mean I know they're still busy left and right getting things done and progressing the construction, but for me the feeling of progressing is gone again. Construction always feels slow in the beginning I think with ground work being broken and the first concrete going in, but usually when we see some track work it literally seems construction goes at an incredible speed only to die out again near opening as the finishing touches happen out of our image. But here it's just a bit to much, we started out with nothing no picture's at all then when it got interesting (first track work) construction seemed to have taken off, but not to long after that I had the feeling each photo was of the same dirt and concrete and nothing much was going on. Now the last few weeks we had an other dash in construction work with more track being placed, that iron roof and such. But now the last few days I again have the feeling it stalled and we get the same pictures over and over again. I don't know I just hope it will still get to that point where I feel this has lifted off and has no intention to stop until the dots on the i, so to speak. Off-coarse this all comes to one point, and that is that I'm just exited for this ride and wish to see something of the finished image already instead of scaffolding, dirt, concrete and steel.
  16. Okay that something I didn't know. If that's true he does know more off-coarse.
  17. Would you like to add a source to that. Because since 2012 they always went for the last thursday of August 30th of August 2012: Six Flags 2013 announcements. 19th of August 2013: Six Flags 2014 announcements. 28th of August 2014: Six Flags 2015 announcements. So I was guessing they would did the 2016 announcements on 27th of August. But hen again if you have a Source that would bring a other light on it.
  18. Yeah for you guy's it's the perfect time here in Europe that is equal to 3 A.M. Seems like I have to make it another late one on the 18th. I know myself can't stand to not know it until the next day.
  19. That dive looks to have a pretty steep lifthill. I mean just that big part looks to be around 40 45 degrees and adding that piece next to it would make me guess a 50 to 55 degree lift will be placed. Then again I have the tendency to look at things funny.
  20. That makes me think even more the new ride is a coaster. Well I guess we won't know for sure till the announcement in 2 weeks.
  21. I have a new update, I have to admit the accurate above view has dropped a little to about 70% instead of 90% during the time, I will continue this despite that. Orange: Brakes, Storage, Station and first launch. Yellow: Is of the first half of the coaster. Red: Second half of the coaster. Pink: The overbanked turn you pass after the first launch, unknown if it comes after the first or second launch. Blue: Tunnel and two turns, If you look at it now this will all connect directly on one other. Gray: twisted turn, helix and Trimbrake, all will connect directly on one other. With future track (the light blue): Last update (big only): Now: All the same colors connect to one other for sure here. So yeah saw them place track in the tunnel this week and yesterday night I saw pictures of the turn after the tunnel placed, they didn't look connected yet so thats why I leave that gab between them. As for the rest they didn't place that much track so nothing to talk about more then.
  22. I'm looking forward to a lot of coasters in Europe and the US, so instead of one top ten I have 2. Europe top 10: 10: Katun (Mirabilandia) 9: Shambhala (PortAventura) 8: Smiler (Alton Towers) 7: OzIris (Parc Asterix) 6: iSpeed (Mirabilandia) 5: Dragon Kahn (PortAventura) 4: Balder (Liseberg) 3: Schwur des Kärnan (Hansa park) 2: Helix (Liseberg) 1: Wildfire (Kolmarden) (yes I'm so exited for this ride it's already my number 1 without it being open it's because it's a RMC in europe, and I like to try the hype.) United States top 10: 10: Cheetah Hunt (Busch Gardens Tampa) 9: Incredible Hulk (Islands of Adventure) 8: Millennium Force (Cedar Point) 7: Kingda Ka (Six Flags Great Adventures) 6: Outlaw Run (Silver Dollar City) 5: Fury 325 (Carowinds) 4: Intimidator 305 (Kings Dominion) 3: Banshee (Kings Island) 2: All Six Flags RMC Iron Horses (They all look so good, and I didn't want to make a complete RMC list) 1: El Toro (Six Flags Great Adventures) (After all I heard about this ride, no way I'm going to miss this credit)
  23. The 6 theme area's are not all countries, they have: - China Town (Big rides: Feng Ju Palace, Geister Rikscha) - Mexico (Big rides: Chiapas, Colorado Adventure, Talocan) - Berlin (Big rides: Maus au Chocolat, Wellenflug) - Deep in Africa (Big rides: Black Mamba) - Fantasy (Big rides: Winja's Fear and Force, Temple of the Nighthawk, Wakobato) - Mystery (Big rides: Mystery Castle, River Quest, Taron) So it will be part of the Mystery area of the park. If I understand it correct Mystery could be renamed Klugheim as they market the ride to be in the "new" area Kugheim but they also said the ride would be part of the Mystery area, so that's why I have that idea I'm not saying it will happen it's just how I understand it now.
  24. Let's go airborne. Another update high from the sky. Source and more. I have to say it's still pretty much dirt and concrete at this moment, I hope near winter season we have some idea on how the area will look like in whole.
  25. On a good day the entire on a bad day just the entrance and exit or none at all. Although they did make an appealing tunnel that is beautiful even when the mist is gone. Rode it today front row, best place to sit on this ride. I can't stress enough on how happy I am with this ride so close at home.
