  1. Here is another Construction update, I forgot to upload it this weekend so today's progress is added: Construction Stance 9-3-2015: As we can see form a week ago the green line is now a complete line, also a lot of orange footers as today they planted a lot of supports (no track): Red = Unbuild track. (Dark) Green = Build track. (Dark green is the build track inside the tunnel) Purple footers = unbuild supports. Light blue footers: Supports under construction. Orange footers = Build Supports. Yellow just shows how the supports (could) connect to the track. Blue is just the location of the tunnel.
  2. No, they're open 365 days per year (366 if during Leap years).
  3. I'm not complaining but how can we have so much pictures now? Shouldn't we be getting any of them? Like I said I'm not complaining I like the fact that we can see it ourself instead of having to rely on words. It just really strange right now. Anyway that banked turn looks quite high, This really isn't going to be the low to the ground (more darkride like) coaster I'd expected it to be. This gets me even more exited to ride this coaster.
  4. Looking good, good to see they didn't miscalculate and it was just too time consuming yesterday. I made my post just on the information on hand so personally I had no idea why they quit yesterday. Construction seems to carry on quite nicely these days, you can see a lot of progression comparing it to pictures of last Sunday.
  5. ^ Looking at the pictures that Intothewild posted a link to (thanks for sharing Intothewild) I made a small measurement of how long the launch trench is and compared that to Heide Parks Desert Race 100 km/h (62.1 Mph), my quick measurements came out that it was trench is longer then the Launch of Desert Race. So 130 km/h (80.8 mph) sounds possible to me. But if it's true this could be quite an ride. ^^ Is it just me or is it really strange, I mean if fans post pictures online the park is going after the site and he's just like posting it online (maybe) revealing information on the ride as it goes. How looslip are they aloud to be? Shouldn't he carry a zipper around his mouth all day?
  6. Finally we have photographic proof that this will be a coaster. Really was hoping on something soon. Can't wait for the park to release more information now.
  7. Today they hit apparently a bumb on the construction. I have no idea how big of a problem it is but today the 4 arches (2 underneath the platform and connecting to the tower, and 2 big ones to connect the supports) didn't Seemingly fit, after several tries they left one hanging and the others where put on the truck again. Not a happy day on the site I guess. Trying but it didn't fit: Despite hanging at the side of the yellow band the arch isn't connected ( Seeing the other picture's the other side doesn't fit they did the same as here): Source. Let's just hope this doesn't end up causing a big delay, would be quite a bummer. Update: I didn't knew today there would be a gathering for reaching the highest point, Let's just hope the arch took too much time and decided to quit early for the party. Tomorrow there is another day, right?
  8. Bit of a bummer I have to mis that. Didn't expect them to do that today after seeing it yesterday, felt like there where more things to be done. Anyways it looks good perhaps I'm going again this weekend. Also they removed more scaffolding today, revealing more of the building. Man I love twitter all good parts get captured of the construction. Found this picture, really like it: Source.
  9. Have to admit take looks nice. Really like the concept of having the tunnel after completing the drop gives it another dimension unlike the other dives. Also love that panoramic view of the park you're going to get up there. Well let's hope we can make it to Italy this year.
  10. ^ I been there myself today. Have to say kind off a bummer the park opened at 11:00 because the lift was like the picture half way in (heard they stated lifting at 10:00) Still it wasn't on it's feet and quite something to see for real. Nothing major happened the rest of the day, the placed the lift top from under the lift on the spot where the place the lift has been laying all these days getting it ready I think for the upcoming week. Edit: Got your update now: Like I said this is how we saw the lift at 11: Entrance has come a long way: Platform still not completely done: Now it was almost in place we could here them inside bolting it to the piece in place: Partly Immelmann, kind off small in real life compared to the lift structure: You can finally grabs the concept of how high this ride is, still a lot higher then I thought: This will be my favorite spot to see the trains go up the lift: This corner 10 years ago looked a lot different, Back in the day they still had Pegasus and de Vliegende Hollander was under construction: More from the sky: 4 track pieces left to connect this part with the Immelmann, then we have our coaster completed from the begin of brakes to halfway the Immelmann: Here are 2 of those said 4 pieces being placed somewhere els, more save for them to do more construction: This was the first time I saw a track piece getting lift up in the air, well it didn't reach it supposed goal, still a nice day to remember : And end of the line: Immelmann again: It all looks so good: Like the shapes of the ride: Detailed shot from the other side, nice (fake?) wood work I like it:
  11. Happy to hear the plan is still on. Now we can do no more then just wait till the park releases more. Let's just hope the delay won't be big.
  12. ^ That picture has affected this thread somehow. Go and look back in this thread and you see it so often now. I'm really careful now when I post pictures in this thread and if I see it in any of my recent post I will remove the said picture. Anyway here is a update on the Dive construction: Red = Unbuild track. I know they're busy with the lift but it hasn't been placed yet.
  13. Should have waited a year before going this theming looks great. Last year the queue was well boring.
  14. Bit sad about the news. I wonder how the future is of this project, still hope it will be completed someday, I really wish to ride it one day.
  15. The park has placed this advertisement piece near the park: Source. Really nice looking if you ask me. Like the dark theme and the angle.
  16. There are some dates that have been called out: 2nd or 3th of March the lift will be placed and the 4th of March the top piece will be placed. For now this is just a rumor but seeing the progress a good possibility. If you look at the concept the drop seems to be 2 pieces short (minus the drop piece). If the rumors are true then I suspect they place those 2 pieces tomorrow, But since both will have no support that will be a balancing act this weekend. Any way seems like things are going good over there.
  17. Today the first pieces went into the tunnel. Seems like they plan to make the drop first so when the place the lift they can go and place the top. Source.
  18. Wasn't even thinking about them adding these bend opbjects near the tunnel. Off-course it makes sense object's also bend in the video of the falling Black Hole. Like the little detail of the plants being sucked in.
  19. ^ Off course your right, they do now have flexibility with the support. Didn't think of that. But wouldn't it be more logic if the place the arches before placing the platform? Because I think that platform would only be in the way since it like double the length as the tower. I'm no expert on steel construction.
  20. Quite a detailed lay-out description, kind off makes me wonder if this is indeed the ride. If it is sound like a fun ride and something worth looking forward to when it opens.
  21. ^ Those supports are in Udenhout for quite sometime. That picture just shows me that nothing more came since the last update. Still wondering why this hasn't been transported to the Efteling. Those Arch's could have hung by now. O well they now what they're doing.
  22. ^ Think that a Dutch theme park site (Looopings.nl) even made a whole article about that video. I was really hitting my head when I found out about that. We have some wierd people in the world.
  23. Correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't the park Screaming Squirrel on sale? Seeing it on the park Map I assume that's of the table for now. Just wondering if I'm not mixing it up with an other.
  24. No choclate coins but plastic gold coins that aren't worth much.
  25. ^ I'm kind off surprised we actually follow them in this. I mean they only danger there is is that you lose your press pass (meaning the site in question will lose any right to press conferences in Phantasialand) to the Park (If I'm correct) so Facebook has nothing to worry right? Let's hope we get more answers March 28th, I mean would they let us hang till November having Track in broad daylight? I really hope on a good Intamin Launch, we don't have any nearby (correct me if I'm wrong we have Itamins nearby but not launched). So would be a something to look forward to, I guess.
