You misspelled Attack of the Clones. Agreed Jar Jar was a pain, I rather here it say "Oh no." then having to hear Heyden Christiansen talking about rough sand or its other "lines?" and Maul always over Dooku. Anyways some people like to forget that without the Prequels, the original trilogy would be another legendary movie of the past and not the living Force today. I honestly believe that without the Phantom Menace we would never have the (Although altered) DVD versions for Prequel generations to see, and I believe that would have slowly extinguish the fandom to the point that we today couldn't look forward to this promising theme land. It had it's flaws but did what it was suppose to do, it introduced the next generation and light the fandom up to where we are today. That's what I still believe to this day, and I hope The Force Awakens will get the current Generation to join us at the dark side of the Force.

As long as fans will accept (as this is meant for a new generation) that it will be in no way A New Hope, The Empire Strikes back and Return of the Jedi, the Force Awakens will do just fine. Lol who am I kidding people will find a thing to complain about in this one too its not the OT. Besides I personally don't mind the Prequels, yeah there's a lot wrong with them, but lore wise I can live with them, I mean at least they didn't make continuous issues like other prequels do just to tie into the original. But I'm sure the Force Awakens will be better received then any Prequel. So I guess the park will have more luck this time if the go on SW 7 trail.

^^ Well at least we don't have to worry that this ride is going anywhere, Taron is definitely one with the ground with all that concrete. More pictures, more steel, more concrete and more wood. I love it that despite Taron rising higher in the background you still look at the Chiapas station. Shows how the park handels theme difference without breaking style. More concrete in the background, and I think the yellow coats in the trench are preparing for even more. More steel, yeah bet some where hoping on some track. Not yet time so it seems. Yeah this is placed on the storage room, seems that will become a new cliff. The two small towers. They made some new dormers (Don't know if thats the correct term, in Google translate we trust) on the right of this picture. Source and more. This ride keeps looking better and better. Can't wait to see the finished product. -

^ The park has it's lips sealed on that. For all we know this could be a spinner like Euro Mir or a copy of Walibi Belgiums ride. If it's a mega expect something like Storm / Alpina Blitz, I doubt we'll get a launch because Xpress Platform 13 has one and the park doesn't have a normal looping coaster. Despite that fact, A launch isn't of the table till the actual ride is know. -

From my limited experience I'd recommend the following: If it's still reasonably warm, I'd suggest the log flume ride. It's nice and a historic part of the park (it's there since 1977) and also a short, fun ride. No big thrill factor compared to the coasters probably, but nice. There are also some dryers at the exit so you don't have to stay wet. If you'd like to get a good overview over the park, try the view tower, maybe early on, so you know where you'll find everything. Other than that, if you like popcorn, I'd strongly recommend to give the toffee popcorn a try. Oh, not a feature, but handy: if you arrive by car and the ticket booth is not crowded, pay your day ticket for parking right away. This way you won't have to get in line in the evening, when everyone wants to pay. Have fun, hope you have a great day! I'll be sure to check those out. I might try the popcorn, it's not that I love popcorn but I can enjoy it. I can't get those parking tickets at the head register (near the entrance) right? I need to go to that circler building on the parking zone right? At least that's how I understand it from the site. -

I'm not going to lie, things have been tense the last few days hence why I kept quiet here. Long story short: My ex is no longer allowed to come along and my parents thought it would be a good idea for them to join me, now I'm going next weekend (September 5th), and that brought 2 weeks of not knowing if the trip would come next weekend or not. But we're finally in the bookings phase again so everything went well. But that news isn't the reason that I post today, I do have some more questions that I like to get answered. -Park Navigation. How easy is that? I looked at the online park plan but to be honest I'm not getting any wiser from that. -Wich first? Schwur des Kärnan or Fluch von Novogord, wich ride would you guys suggest first. I'm aiming for slowest line first. -Not to miss. Except for the coasters, what rides would you guys say are must does? Or any other feature that I should check out. It's already good to hear crowds will be reasonable when I'm there (I mean a hour wait for the top rides in the summer I can live with that). So thank you in advance if you answer one of my questions, it will help me allot to make the best of my day. Anyway I'm very excited for my visit to Hansa park. -
What are your TOP TEN COASTERS
RCT3Bross replied to ddaver177's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Steel: 1. Expedition GeForce (Holiday park) Loved every aspect of this ride, the drop the airtime. 2. Blue Fire (Europa park) Provides a good punch from start to end. 3. Black Mamba (Phantasialand) The ride is already good enough on its own, but the theming seals it a top 3 spot. 4. Silver Star (Europa park) Smooth and airtime. Also this is the highest coaster I've been on till today, can't forget that. 5. Baron 1898 (Efteling) Again a already good ride that knows how to work with theming. The overall experience really makes this coaster great. 6. Sky Scream (Holiday park) This ride delivered more then I expected. It looks so simple but I make sure my lap bar is closed on this one. 7. Flug der Dämonen (Heide park) Okay it doesn't have that punch or airtime. Yet still that drop seals the deal I believe. 8. Krake (Heide park) Got to say dives sure know how to impress. Short but sweet it is. 9. Goliath (Walibi Holland) Maybe the best Dutch coaster I've ridden (Baron stands higher because of overall experience). The Stengler is by far the best element. 10. Rock 'n Roller Coaster (Walt Disney Studio's Paris) Love the music, really that's it. The ride is fun and all but the music makes it my number ten. This top ten will look different next weekend after visiting Hansa park. I have little doubt Schwur des Kärnan knows how to get on this list. Wood: 1. Colossos (Heide park) Love that drop, also airtime. 2. Wodan Timbur coaster (Europa park) A ride that doesn't disappoint from start to end. 3. Troy (Toverland) I have something with good fist drops like this one. 4. Joris en de Draak (Efteling) Again the fist drop on both sides seals the deal, follow that with a fun ride afterwards. 5. Mammut (Tripsdirll) It was a great ride. But there is a huge hole between Mammut and Joris en de Draak. 6. Loup-Garou (Walibi Belgium) Again we leave a big hole and we enter the woodies that I like less. Loup-Garou stands on top of this being less rough as expected. 7. The Bandit (Movie Park Germany) Perhaps new trains could raise this rides place, it doesn't have a bad lay-out just the roughness makes it bad. 8. Robin Hood (Walibi Holland) A coaster I can live with skipping, but honestly I never did, I have no idea why. Wood only goes to 8 now because that's pretty much all woodies I've done so far. You could say I'm still very local with Dutch and German rides ruling this list. I still hope next year there will be more diverse countries on this list. -

Finally work on the next Dutch coaster. Also this might be nice to know, the park post little gifs on Snapchat as teasers for the ride. Be carefull could trigger a epileptic seizure. Source both Youtube, NoLimits131152. Also the park has placed some psychedelic look holes in the fence arround construction. So this makes me belive that the ride has some psychological aspect to the ride. Also that plane could mean a backwards part/entire ride backwards. Just some wierd stuf from the Snapchat account. -

New pictures of Taron on the Magazine site. Older ones but still must see pictures. Can the crazy nut job who thought of this design come fort? He/she must clam responsibility for dehydration lots of fans by drooling. Original source click here. Picture source click here. Man this looks amazing, still can't believe that when it's open technically I could ride it anytime I want as it is so close by. I mean this master piece in 2 hours reach, just awesome. -

Still hope that when they start there winter season they release more info. Just a few breadcrumbs are fine like: Stats (hight, length and speed) and perhaps dare to say the ride will open next year (still only speculation Taron will open in 2016). Still this look Beautiful. -

RCT3Bross replied to baileybrucem's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Will keep it in mind, however I will moste likely skip it because it's a kiddie coaster. I can be stubborn when it comes to that. It's also relieving everybody accepts your version of a credit. "If you want to count the truck ride at your local Fair? Yeah sure count it, what ever you enjoy." It's much more satisfying then hearing: "hehe that one over there counts the truck ride as a coaster credit, loser." It makes me happy to be part of such a community. I know I did right skipping them, but before I always saw so many post of people saying: "This kidde coaster is awesome." Or: "Check this Wacky Worm it's my 400th credit." I started to wonder: "Am I doing it wrong? Should I ride them to be a more real enthusiast?" I know it sounds silly but I got to that point (and thus became slightly ashamed for skipping them), but I thought by myself that I shouldn't give in and that I'm already a real enough enthusiast even without them. When this thread came I was just happy to know I'm indeed no less for skipping them, Because now I'm sure that being a enthusiast isn't about the number or rides you ridden or the amount of knowledge you have, no it's about how much fun you can have in an amusement park you like. Don't let a that number or rides you've ridden take over your life, try to have some fun, otherwise whats the point? -

RCT3Bross replied to baileybrucem's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Before this thread I had a slight sense of shame that I skipped kiddie coasters, really the amount of people on this site that ride it for the credits here is in my eyes huge. I'm relieved to hear I'm completely sane as to skip them as a grown up coaster enthusiast makes me happy. I count yeah, but still if I were to choose between a park that has 10 credits versus 4 credits I will pick the park with the rides that Interest me the most, even if it's that park of 4 credits, ask me about the same parks again next year and I again pick the one with the interesting rides. This year I might get 5 credits (only have 1 this entire year right now) and that's enough. I still don't like how this year went but thats because my ex-girlfriend literally had me miss some awesome parks I really liked to have visit this year, not because I "only" got to ride 5 new coaster instead of 20 or so. -

RCT3Bross replied to baileybrucem's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Like the people before me said the number only has meaning to yourself. I still count my credits but I still use modesty in choosing my rides. I'm an organised guy so a few years back I made (and I know some might find this going too far but it helps me not to go too far myself) an Excel file with parks I like to visit. On this file I keep track to what parks I visit and want to visit one one page, how many rides I ridden on the next (I just want it one day to reach a number higher then 200. It's for myself, because that number screams more Coaster enthusiast then 60) on the next page. And then I have a page for each country, there stand the name of the park and underneath that each coaster marked in color so I can see which I did and wich I need to do. Too keep a little modesty in this all I make it difficult for a park to enter that list (some parks have to rely on other parks nearby to reach it) so I won't see myself riding a power coaster in Bahrain like Robb said. Oh and I avoid kiddie coaster cause they're for kiddies not for grown ups. As to what I count as credits? I look at RCDB for that, I know they're not the once to decide what's a coaster and what not, but it helps me get enough rides out of the way that come extremely close but just aren't coasters. But there is one thing I always make sure that having fun is more important then the number of credits so far. -

Wouldn't consider myself an Anime fan but watched a handful and read some Manga's. In order of me watching them: Dragon Ball: Like most others here, grew up with it never followed the Anime as you should back then. Half a year back reread the Manga for it all to make sense. Still one of my favorites, but half a year ago reading the Manga grew some complaints to the unexplained power-ups (Also known as: Super Saiyan 2 and beyond). Pokémon: Stopped this later then expected during the Black and White saga, Although after leaving Hoenn I started missing out on some episodes and didn't care that much anymore. Still before that is par of my yought. Yu-Gi-Oh!: Again from childhood, watched the whole series up till that other guy after Yugi came in the picture. Naruto: This is a Anime I still follow, it also started out much later as I could catch up all the way to the Pain arc. So this comes more of my late teen years, at first I only tried to be okay with the Anime but Fillers happened and the Manga came in play. Still think the Anime is better. Bleach: Completed this Anime that I also started in my late teen years, now still reading the Manga that I just hope would end, I don't enjoy it anymore. One Piece: This came when I was just 20 years old. Although it feels like it repeats itself every isle that crew grew on me. Fairy Tail: Around half a year after One Piece Manga started to grew on me. So I started to look for more Manga to read and FT came up started it was hooked instantly after that watched the Anime and kind off said to learn it stopped. So happy to have it back still watching it every week. Rave Master: After learning that the FT author rode Rave Master. Didn't like it as much as FT but still descend. Too bad the Manga end was never Animated. Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood: Okay watched one episode so far but the rest will come, read the Manga complete and loved it, beautiful story. Highschool of the Dead: Watched a few episodes, not loving it though. Don't know if I will continue the story. Shingeki no Kyojin: Or better known as Attack on Titan. Didn't want to watch or read the Manga because people made a big deal out of it, it wasn't until I thought: Okay I give it a try, to see what the reason behind the hype was. Love it and still follow the Manga. Code Geass: Haven't watch this till maybe a half year ago. Loved the Anime and thought it had a good ending. Here are some Manga's I read and if I will watch the Anime or not: Death Note: Well never going to watch that Anime. Love how the story starts but after a well known point it becomes just really bad and the ending killed the whole story. Ao no Exorcist: Maybe I will watch the Anime, it's descend enough so. Asu no Yoichi: A harem Manga that was funny, and I don't want to ruin it by watching Anime. Cowboy Bebop: Never give it to much thought. so maybe some day, like Ao no Exorcist it's descend enough. Here's a small list of Manga/Anime I plan on starting someday: Sekirei: According to my brother it's worth it, but that was what he said about H.O.T.D. so we'll see about that. Elfen lied: Who knows, just a crazy idea. Eureka Seven: This and NGE where given as tips to read to me, watched an Anime trailer of both and NGE got dropped but Eureka Seven seems something. Well very detailed (much more then the rest here actually) that's it. I do want to say I'm always open for tips so based on my list and likes if somebody has one feel free to share.

Still hate the fact we just don't get answers today, that comes thanks to the leaked image, I just wish we could have got an answer on that. But too bad real life happened and the park made a good choice not to do it today thanks to that. What I don't like is that they then just say: "Not the 18th." Instead of: "2 weeks later." or "a month later." But yeah I'm impatient so that works for me as well. Still I like to see the new date being announced through a simple tweet without making a big fuss, just so we have some date to look forward too instead of all this weird speculation. -
New red B&M track at Clermont in Ohio...
RCT3Bross replied to FSUFanChris's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Actually, it is something without Chinese Fireball: a fully independent roller coaster who don't need no Hungarian Horntail. If you tore down HH, you would still call Chinese Fireball a coaster, yes? And if you tore down CF, you would still call Hungarian Horntail a coaster, correct? Then that means both are independent roller coasters, and count as 2. Okay I have no intention to go to far form the main topic at hand here, so this is the last I say about this: I never said they aren't separate coasters, in fact I admitted it right in the start. What I meant there was that the lay-outs where designed to be together, take one out and you have an odd lay-out left. That is what I meant with HH and CF being nothing without each other, they need each other to complete them self. I mean I never ridden one of them, but I read a lot that people say the ride is practically dead now that it doesn't duel anymore, Imagen if they take one out forever, that leaves a bigger hole then now. Oh and the park still sells it as one experience under the name: Dragon Challenge, that story whise had to give each coaster its own name. -

RCT3Bross replied to FSUFanChris's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I don't know guys, Bare with me here as I may go full GP here. But isn't Dragon Challenge 1 project that exists out of 2 coasters. Yeah they're completely separate and I fans will count it as 2 credits, but isn't it 1 whole? The Hungarian Horntail is nothing without it's Chinese Fireball. Okay maybe we can't count the next announced coaster as the 100th coaster (As that is most likely the last to open currently) but it is the 100th Project of B&M and in my eye's doesn't that count more as the milestone coaster then Mako or the USJ as those are project 98th and 99th. I may sound stupid but I believe I'm on to something.
