That's indeed a pull through car by the looks of it. Seems odd to have that already with half the ride still wrapped up. O well there is also a lot they can test already so who knows. -

Okay normally I would be more of need to see it to believe it but I have high hopes the ride will be done before the end of next week. It's seems possible. First pieces of track that are part of the begin of the last turn left to make. And a Piece that will be the end side of this turn. Well the concrete is set so no reason to stop the coming days. Also some supports of the turn are placed. Back of the dome tower is done. Theming elements are placed Source and more. So who knows maybe next week the last piece? I really hope so. -

Today they finally connected all that stood, now we seemingly are just one turn short for this ride to be completed. This Support is just stored there not attached if I understand that corectly: And some Supports ready for instalment: Source and more. So this is what's build: Star from S and you get to F And this is what's left to build: It's that green bit that's unbuild. -
Really looking forward to The Force Awakens now. It's something to get used on really quickly not knowing much, so I really love how they market the movie.

^^ Now we can see the curve that gets us into that curve: Source and a little more. So first we get this and then that 90 Degree turn. Man that part of the ride will awesome. I can imagen a train sweeping through those banked turns. -

Okay I might have had a fangasm here. That's just beautiful. -
Already thanks for the information given to both of you. 1. So August it will be. That's the time off work I will have then. 2. So I googled vandrarhem, as I understand it for now it's a Hostel type of night stay right? Bunch of people in the same room? I understand these are cheap but I'm not fond on sleeping with a bunch of strangers, It gives me the feeling that when I'm out I can't leave my stuff in a closed room. 3. Seems like I'm going to dig into cash exchange. I got a cash card but I don't know about its acceptance outside Euro zone's, So I will check that out also. 4. Thanks, Like I said I never been there before and was always told Sweden was Mountain heavy, But if fuel stations are not a problem that's a lot to get myself out from that anxiety. 5. I understand I might be a little more specific about what I meant with Sightseeing. Well you might say anything makes the country look interesting, Museum's, castles, just a place that looks beautiful. You might say I want to see something of the country. 5.5 Gröna lund: Well I might have been a little more specific about this at night stay but I'm the type of guy that will go to a country and try to have the least amount of night stays there are, so I'm going to look at a place to sleep between Göteburg and Norrköping, and considering I will bring my own car and come by boat in at Göteburg I kind off find the park a little too small for the whole trip. I'm already stretching my norms a lot to get to Kolmården as that's an RMC, I know it's a Zoo and I have nothing against zoo's or animals so that would be a day of fun also. 6. It's always a thing when I leave the comfort of home when it comes to food. But knowing I can get some French fries over there helps. 7. Covered that. Also this was one of the original questions but it seems it slipt my mind: 8: Language: I speak Dutch, English and a little bit German. How far do I get with those languages in Sweden?

Some more photo's today. Hard to tell but today they added another 1 or 2 track pieces, this is near that tunnel for the rumored 2nd coaster. New detailed theming on River Quest. They are already making sure the track is smooth. Source and more. Still making great progress there. -

More theming: More work on the new arches. Concrete footers. More track pieces arrive, not placed. Theming on the River Quest wall. New steel structure, could still be on truck here I don't know didn't find a better picture (except for one where this A profile is in the air.) Source and more. -

Today no new track pieces, I doubt we'll see any soon also. Just checking out the bolts of yesterday's piece. But this cure looks so great. Still working on Taron Footers here. Preparing more theming here. Really gets that little town feel to it. Source and more. So hard work going on there. -

^ You got Purefun to thank for that. It really makes me happy to see someone going in daily to provide pictures of such an awesome coaster construction. It's rarely you see so much of construction so I can appreciate this very much. Edit 13 October: New pictures: Earlier we had some scaffolding going up near the Transfer track now these arches are build. Quite tall ones also. Roof work is progressing. More structural theming. Really love the wood and stone elements mashed together. And yes track went in today finishing the second part of the ride, okay except for a support or 2. Source and more. Here's a quick update on the lay-out after they finished the second half: You can see the red line is one line beginning and ending in yellow (red is the second half of the ride yellow the first) This is what that means in intersections. 14 16 and 44 are still red that green doesn't even have all it's footers finished. 23 and 24 are turned blue with the included supports yesterday. Meaning 5 intersections to go. -

^ Glad to help. To be honest I couldn't see it before either, so I thought let's just fill it in my drawing of the lay-out and I thought it would be a nice thing to share. Speaking of sharing Purefun has some new pictures: More track going in as part of the second half of the ride. Just follow those green arrows that's all that needs to be done for the second launch and the brakes to be one part. From the other angle, it looks like 2 or 3 pieces left. For the first half of the ride there's more to be done, but we have more supports. Source and more. Going great, hope tomorrow they finish up the second half of the ride, who knows If I have to bet on when track work will be completed I say November early December, so we might get some updates of the final batch of track going in. It's all based on how fast track went in and how long it took for between this batch and the previous. Footers are well underway near the tunnel, so there's also that. -

Even today we had track work going in: When this turn will be done the entire part after the second launch to the end is done. Another piece going in. Prepping more theming. Source and more. This is the current status of the build: Placed track: Yellow: Storage track section, Station, 1st Launch and all that follows. Red: 2nd Launch and all that follows, Brakes. Speculation: Light blue: How track will be placed if we look at the already placed supports. Green: Rumored track, so no supports as of yet. Purple: Rumored 2nd coaster. Big image of the first to show how progress went this week: Last week: This week: All colors are just lighter tones of the first image. Intersection counter: All intersections on the count. If you start at S and first follow the Yellow line each time a track goes over that I placed the next number (hence why we start with 1, 2, 3, 39, 4, 5. 39 is there because it's the 39th time the track goes over you) it was easier to count for me this way. The Blue numbers are parts the light blue crosses the existing track and the red numbers are the ones where the green also known as the rumored track crosses the track. Meaning we are 7 crosses short for it to have the 58 crosses. Small note I know at the place of cross 23 and 24, as there they share the support in real life (watch the first picture of todays update it's that part with Yellow being the camelback and red/pink the steep turn), but I do this for fun so as in accurate as some things are it doesn't matter to the usefulness of these updates, as the use of these updates it to show the progress and the amount of intersections and that's all correct. -
Hey guys I have a couple of questions regarding my 2016 plans, Liseberg and Kolmarden are planned. As we all know next year Europa gets an RMC and I be dammed if I'm going to mis this. Problem is it's in a country I have little knowledge about, so pleas help me realize this trip. 1: Which months are the best time to actually go and visit the parks, so when do I have the most chance of not missing a single ride on my trip. 2: What type of night stay should I book that is cheap but still has privacy. I'm basically asking stuff like Hotels, holiday parks, Guesthouses. 3: In Sweden they have the SEK here in the Netherlands we have the Euro, should it be smart to pay in SEK or Euro's? 4: fuel station. I never been there and I know it's mountain area, how far are fuel stations from one other (like around 50 KM) It's important to know so I don't run out of benzine for the car. 5: Are there any other sightseeing then just a visit to Kolmarden zoo and Liseberg, I'm not talking amusement parks only. 6: Food, Okay I admit I'm a complete stranger too unfamiliar food and not so fond on trying stuff. So what type of food is there local? 7: Anything more I need or should know? Anything is welcome. I know I'm planning a bit ahead now, but I have 2 years where plans have failed, I'll be sure this time it won't be because of incorrect planning.

^Oops slip up from my side,I read too fast sometimes making these mistakes more often, but I fixed the previous post. Also thank you for the daily pictures. Edit October 9th: More track: So close you could high five the other train if it wasn't that tilted. Hope that Hill gives a nice floater. Prepping for more concrete. River Quest's Taron side theming is coming along. They haven't fixed that support yet. A picture of some time earlier today when they finished the airtime hill. It's just an awesome sight. Track everywhere you look. Final picture is one of the track that goes into the tunnel. Source and more. It all looks awesome. -

Some news about the already famed darkride that should have come in 2012: So apparently Hartenhof is too Dutch for the park as on EAS they announced that they renamed the darkride to Symbolica. Symbolica is a somewhat universal name as it's the mythical land from where the park's mascot (Pardoes) comes from. Also Symbolica is believed to be more pronounceable for foreign people then Hartenhof. They also changed the name in as a nod to the recently deceased Ton van de Ven, who also created the Mascot and his land Symobolica, he always was a huge fan of giving the park mascot his own place in the park somewhere people could believe that he slept and lived there. Source. As of now they still have no date for when Symbolica should open, they however did announce it's still planed before 2020 wich means the coming 4 years the park has it's work cut out as they seemingly have a lot of things on their wish list before that year: - Pinocchio fairy tail - Symbolica darkride - Expansion of current sleeping facilities or new Holiday park - A Expansion of the parks borders (I mean we can at least expect a big/several attraction(s) then, right?) It's all for their goal to each 5 million visitors in a year, So let's see what the coming years bring. -

Purefun placed more pictures on Phantafriends.de: More track this is how we will dive into the tunnel: Theming near the final turn: Theming on the wall that separates Taron and China town: Also interesting development in the Transfer area: Source and more. It's just a delight we are treated with daily pictures of this ride, Kinda envy Purefun as he can see this bad boy being build in front of him. -

I heard Thundercoaster was actually a really good ride. Also is the roughness because of Vekoma's building style or just because of poor maintenance and age? Could indeed be poor maintenance, knowing Walibi they rarely go beyond the absolute necesary. But I remember reading somewhere that Vekoma had no fun in building them either. So I think now they are on the right track now with they cooperation with RMC. And like I said Vekoma has some great lay-outs (I mean their SLC lay-outs are good looking) but Vekoma is naturally known to associate with pain, wich is kind-off too bad. -

Vekoma just learned how to make a wooden coaster: Let some specialist do it and cash in on it yourself. As long as they let RMC do as they please, I don't want an other Loup Garou or Robin Hood (2 of Vekoma's own woodies). I mean they have nice lay-outs but the pain. -

More supports placed yesterday and track: Source and more. Unfortunately I need to go to work and couldn't share more (maybe someone els?) but I just wanted to say this: "Holly god that track is placed close to each other." in the second picture. Edit October 7th: More track. Today more track, they're on a run now. Trim brake into the final turn. Also more track before the turn that leads to the second launch: Also more concrete preparations: Source and more. Quick fact: they are now on 46 intersections out of the 58, if they where to place track on each already placed support that would add another 7 intersections meaning a total of 53 intersections is known. -

Just to finish today's picture line up we have new track pieces in: This piece conects the overbanked turn and the second launch This piece comes after that overbanked turn, it's almost right above that piece you saw in the picture above it. This picture shows what I meant. Also more track at the end of the ride. Source. I Hope they keep up this good work for a few days again. -

Well if an enthusiast came to me 5 years ago and told me within now and 10 years there would be a coaster build with this level theming, I would laugh and say it would be a dream come true, guess it's not a dream anymore. I mean Black Mamba looks like an inverted coaster in a planted trench compared to this. Edit: About the post below. Words fail to come to me. But I have to say it looks still very much like a construction site, I know it still is, but just the amount of work that needs to be done shows.
