  1. I like how they've stuck with the traditional lift, and not the weird "fat" one seen on Dare Devil Dive. The layout of this ride looks insane, very odd looking inversions.
  2. According to RCDB the ride has now been operating since the 29th of April.
  3. Holy crap that looks insane, its almost too fast. Though it could be running overspeed tests as coasterlover420 said. But even if that isn't its full speed, I'm sure we can guarantee ejector air on every hill.
  4. Breaking a cord while bungee jumping. What's worse than every coaster company besides Pinfari going bankrupt?
  5. The only reason I don't count powered coasters is because I've ridden tons when I was younger and can't keep an accurate count as I don't remember where most of them were.
  6. The theming on this ride is actually pretty cool, I love the water spray. Still looks like the best wingrider IMO, and the tests seem faster than the Swarm's were.
  7. I personally don't count powered coasters as credits, and I would only count some water coasters as credits. For example, Atlantica Supersplash at Europa Park doesn't have enough track for me to call it a credit, while Poseidon at the same park does. As for racing/duelling coasters, I only count them as two credits if they have largely different layouts. For example, Dragon Challenge is clearly two different coasters, so that's two different credits. Same goes for Battlestar Galactica at Universal Singapore. One side is an inverted coaster, the other is a sitdown. Clearly that's two credits. However, with a coaster like Colossus at SFMM both sides are almost identical, so I call the overall ride a single credit. The only one I'm not sure about is cloned coasters. For example, I don't know if I'd count each SLC or each Batman the Ride clone as individual credits, or count them all as one. I'm leaning more towards counting them all individually, as they all probably supply a different ride experience. For example, one SLC could be particularly painful while another could be not too bad.
  8. I think most people are thinking this is amazing due to Intamin's track record with hyper coasters - they are some of the best coasters in the world. And this looks like no exception. I don't really judge coasters on their manufacturer. I rode Rattlesnake at Chessington and liked it, though I'm not a big fan of Maurer Sohne's coasters. Likewise, I rode Motocoaster at Dreamworld and hated it, despite it being made by Intamin.
  9. Awesome! Thats two new Shuttle Loops reopening in 2013 (the second being Turbine at Walibi Belgium).
  10. Wouldn't it be hilarious if this coaster turned out to be really awesome? Though I'm not sure if there will be any surviving riders to tell us if it's awesome or not.
  11. Having to work for the rest of your life with no holidays, no weekends and no chance of retiring. What's worse than El Toro, Balder, Colossos and T Express being torn down and replaced with replicas built in their place by RCCA?
  12. Because that won't be hideously painful or anything...
  13. Looks awesome. The drop section definitely looks more intense than Polar X-plorer's.
  14. My god, it looks incredible! What a stunning park so far.
  15. Wait what? Off topic, but when did they announce Wildcat being taken out? Guess SFMM is happy. EDIT: v Thanks, I assumed by the way others were talking about it that it was old news.
  16. Oh my god that looks AMAZING. The airtime over the hills is going to be kickass, as will the first drop. This has now become my favourite coaster of 2012.
  17. I also dislike how the ride ends, but I realise that with Dragon Fire situated right underneath, there probably wasn't any other option. At least it doesn't end with a lift hill back to the station like on some rides
  18. That's not the first time KI's responded to something in this manner, but I really haven't seen other parks confront someone like this on Facebook. That really is awesome to see a park respond to stupid comments. I wish more parks did that.
  19. You have launched coasters but don't mind SLC's? You ARE crazy
  20. I love how they've managed to incorporate Lego into their theming without it looking cheesy. Great pics, it really is quite photogenic. How does it compare to Thirteen?
  21. Looks like a fun coaster. The coaster section looks great, and I have no problems with the drop section. My only problem is, like most people, the disappointing theming in the drop section. The concept art showed something much more impressive, but I guess that was my fault for expecting the actual "show room" to look like that.
  22. For anyone who's ridden T Express - how does that first drop compare to El Toro's?
  23. I haven't ridden very many coasters. But so far my favourite is Superman Escape - Movieworld
  24. I305, Bizarro (SFNE), Expedition Geforce, Maverick, Nitro, Kumba, Dragon Khan, Montu, Katun, El Toro, Phoenix, Boulder Dash... The list goes on and on.
  25. Blue fire begs to differ. But I understand your opinion, since you were judging the park mainly on coasters. As others said, I'm sure that if you were there on a nice sunny day and took time to try the food offerings and other rides you would've had an amazing time.
